CEASE (the Centre to End All Sexual Exploitation) is a national human rights charity. Our mission is to expose and dismantle the cultural and commercial forces driving all forms of sexual exploitation in the UK. Sexual exploitation does not occur in a vacuum, and only by addressing the wider context can we hope for real, lasting change.

CEASE’s work is based on peer reviewed research and survivors’ accounts; it takes the form of advocacy, awareness-raising campaigns, events, lobbying and other strategic actions.

We are looking for a Digital Content Officer to join us at CEASE (Centre to End All Sexual Exploitation). About MenWalkTalk

MenWalkTalk is a registered charity in England which aims to support an improvement of mental health in men of all ages by engaging in a walking group which is proven to be beneficial to their mental and physical wellbeing. The Stigma around Men’s mental health needs to be broken. MenWalkTalk also aims to reduce social isolation for men and provide signposting to specialist support for those who may be experiencing mental health problems. We want to provide volunteer-led walking groups in every county across England and then the UK. Our volunteers have mental health first aid training as a minimum and their aims are to discuss mental health within their walking groups, in a caring, supportive, and non-judgemental manner. We currently have 22 walk-leaders and 5 campaigners, all of which are volunteers.

Job Description – about the role

We are seeking to hire a self-motivated and enthusiastic Fundraising Officer to work with the charity team and to support the activities of the organisation.

The ideal candidate will possess a wide range of skills and be interested in playing a key role within a small and committed team, supporting the Trustees and Fundraising & Marketing Committee with the organisation’s activities.

As a Fundraising Officer your primary responsibility will be to develop, engage and grow corporate, trust, and individual supporters to help MenWalkTalk achieve its goals. Working closely with the CEO and Trustees. You'll contribute to the team by conducting research, managing appeals and fundraising efforts, handling administrative tasks, and providing event support across our team.

·Support the MenWalkTalk charity in achieving its annual income target by engaging corporate, trust, and individual donors. 

·Conduct research and develop a pipeline of potential supporters across various donor types to expand the charity's network. 

·Assist in implementing and maintaining an effective CRM system to ensure accurate and up-to-date partnership records, enabling efficient donor management and communication. 

 

 

 

 

Key responsibilities:

Fundraising

·Support the charity in achieving an annual income target from a mixture of corporate, trust, and individual donors. 

·Conduct research and create a pipeline of potential supporters across different donor categories. 

·Aid in the establishment and integration of a CRM system within the charity. 

·Ensure partnership records are kept up to date and accurate on our income CRM system (TBC). 

·Conduct research and generate a pipeline of potential supporters across various donor types.

·Help coordinate email marketing campaigns and provide comprehensive administrative support to the team when required. 

General Responsibilities

·To understand, adhere to and actively implement all the policies and procedures of MenWalkTalk and its services at all times.

·To operate and comply with the provisions of the Data Protection Act 1998 and relevant MenWalkTalk policies during the course of undertaking the role.

·To undertake training as required.

·Assist with other work, events and projects as needed.

·To undertake additional tasks reasonably requested by the CEO and the charity team.

Guidance and support to the Chief Executive

·Liaise with the CEO regularly. 

·Liaise with the CEO and other staff to coordinate any external/charity appointments, attendance at such events and the detailed planning of special events.

·Keep the Fundraising & Marketing Committee and Trustees appraised with Funding outcomes. 

·Attend occasional events and exhibitions as requested by the CEO to represent the charity.

About the role

A new and exciting opportunity to work with us across the England North region supporting our Liveable Cities and Towns and Paths for Everyone programmes, to encourage walking, wheeling and cycling to new and different users. 

As a Project Officer, you will organise and deliver engagement activities with local community groups, community leaders, businesses, schools and volunteers on our community led infrastructure and National Cycle Network projects.

Grants Fundraising Officer (job share)

Hope and Homes for Children is looking for a Funding Coordination Officer (this is the job title used internally for this role), who'll play a key supportive role in the Grants Partnerships team and Marketing, Communications and Fundraising (MCF) department, contributing directly to the Grants team income target as well as supporting fundraisers across the department to access compelling information in support of their fundraising.

The Programme Officer is responsible for supporting the development and delivery of the annual member programme and conducting research to ensure the Association of Chief Executives and the Public Chairs' Forum continue to provide a compelling and responsive offering to its members. 

The Programme Officer ensures ACE and PCF remain in step with changing member needs and interests.

1. Manage delivery of a wide range of community activities 

• Shapes proposals for events and sessions, based on member insight and desk research.

• Promotes activities through fortnightly member updates and a variety of communications and media tools to reach different target groups.

• Supports improvements to membership offering, based on feedback and data intelligence. 

2. Secure a sustainable future for PCF and ACE  

• Provides support to the development and delivery of membership engagement campaigns. 

• Maintains membership programme engagement records. 

• Manages resources effectively. 

3. Secure the reputation of PCF and ACE as a credible voice for public bodies.  

• Contributes to relationships with key stakeholders, including Cabinet Office, government departments, public bodies and Institute for Government.

• Plays an active role in contributing to research projects which stimulate debate and inform improving practice.

• Contributes ideas and content for circulation across communication channels - web, socials, trade press - to increase the profile of PCF and ACE.

4. Ensure smooth and effective operations of PCF and ACE. 

• Contributes to regular reporting to the Chairs and Boards of both PCF and ACE.

• Contributes general administration and operational support as required.

We are seeking a highly organised and motivated Operations Support Officer to join our team at MRS Independent Living. 

About the role

In this varied and rewarding role, you will provide vital administrative, financial, and operational support across a range of our services that enable older people and those living with disabilities and mental health challenges to stay independent, active and connected to their communities. 

Your day-to-day tasks will include:

• Administration: You'll be integral to delivery of our handyperson service, exercise programmes for older people and decluttering service, managing enquiries, referrals, bookings, invoices and payments.

• Project Support: You'll help support our community projects, supervising activities where needed, assisting with admin and data collection, and being a point of contact for new and existing volunteers. 

• General Operations: You'll wear many hats, supporting senior staff with HR, training, communications, IT, health & safety, and providing a friendly face. 

We are looking for someone who:

• Has empathy and can communicate effectively with a diverse range of service users, including older adults, those with disabilities, and those facing mental health challenges.

• Is a whiz with administration, has a keen eye for detail, and can work comfortably and effectively across multiple projects.

• Is confident using (or comfortable learning to use) a range of software and collaborative platforms (e.g. Google Workspace, Trello, Airtable) and accounts management software (ideally QuickBooks). 

• Has a warm, friendly personality and a proactive attitude, eager to contribute ideas and support colleagues.

• Is a team player who can adapt to changing priorities and a fast-paced environment.

It will be a bonus if you have:

• Experience working with third sector (community and voluntary) organisations.

• Experience as a volunteer or supporting volunteers.

• Familiarity with social media platforms like Twitter and WhatsApp.

• An interest in learning more about charity functions like fundraising and community development, and charity/social enterprise management in general.
