This role will support the delivery of our Impact and Evaluation strategy. This area of our work helps us to understand the impact of our grantmaking and creates and evaluates internal and external datasets to improve our work. Our Impact and Evaluation portfolio includes commissioning and undertaking new research, supporting our aim to publish studies on issues that affect children and young people living in poverty. 

We are a growing charity and our Impact and Evaluation department has a key role to play in the strategic and operational development of the charity as it grows. This role will support the delivery of that aim by working closely with the Impact and Evaluation Manager.

Responsibilities:

Data Collection: Assist with the collection and storage of research and survey data, including demographic data and outcomes indicators, employing quantitative and qualitative methods. Gather and engage with external open and government datasets. 

Database Administration: Retrieve and analyse datasets from internal databases, responding to requests for data from the team. Update and enter data into key dashboards to monitor trends and issues. 

Data Analysis: Assist with data analysis tasks, including cleaning and analysing quantitative data using software (e.g., Excel, PowerBI), as well as coding and analysing qualitative data using thematic analysis techniques.

Reporting and Presentations : Assist with the preparation of key reports, dashboards, and presentations summarising key findings, trends, and insights from impact and evaluation activities for fundraising purposes, including developing content for social media.

Evaluation Planning: Assist the implementation of evaluation plans for specific programs or initiatives. Contribute to planning large-scale projects, including the selection of appropriate evaluation methods, data collection tools, and evaluation frameworks.

Survey Administration: Assist with the design, administration, and analysis of surveys to gather feedback from grantees, staff, and other stakeholders. Monitor and act on grantee feedback, sharing relevant results with key staff.

Research Administration: Schedule and undertake interviews/focus groups, supported by the I&E Manager. Manage administrative activities such as contact with participants, transcription and coding.

Collaboration: Support the I&E Manager to collaborate with internal staff, research partners, and organisations in the sector to support evaluation activities.

Performance Monitoring: 

· Establish metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success and impact of strategic partnerships. 

· Regularly report on partnership outcomes to leadership. 

Interactions between Research and other ARUK Teams 

· Take part in working groups related to the wider priorities of ARUK. 

· Work closely with other teams to ensure that relevant research partnerships with other organisations are well-managed and communicated. 

What we are looking for:

· First Degree (or equivalent) in relevant biomedical science.

· Proven experience in strategic partnership development and management, preferably in the healthcare, research, or charity sector. 

· Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage complex projects and partnerships simultaneously.

Additional Information:

Ways of working: As part of our Agile ways of working you will be required to work approximately 2 days a week from the office, which is subject to the requirements of the role and the business needs. Flexibility on where you work can be split between working from home and our office.

Bladder Health UK (BHUK) is a small national charity that has developed significantly over the last 10 years. We are now looking for a part-time charity manager who can continue this journey. About the role 
We are looking for someone who wants to make a real and lasting difference to people’s lives, taking the lead on generating the income required to deliver the Farm’s services and maintain our central functions and infrastructure. As a Change Manager, you will be part of a central PMO, but will be expected to work across the organisation as we deliver St Mungo’s Transformation Programme.

In this role you will be required to work flexibly for at least 2 days per week from our Central Office in Tower Hill, London. This allows for in person collaboration, team building, line management and other relationship building opportunities. We support a flexible approach to work with opportunities for agile working for the rest of your week from home, or other St Mungo’s London or regional locations. 

About you

You will be able to demonstrate a successful track record of leading and managing large and/or complex change programmes, particularly involving structural, operational and process change.

Proven success of working with all levels of management and leading and influencing teams of people (directly and indirectly), ideally within a Transformation and/or Business Change environment will be key.

To be successful in this role, you will also have;

• Strong people skills, with the ability to influence key stakeholders
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including accuracy and attention to detail
• Understanding of digital technologies used in internal communications
• Ability to work on own initiative and manage multiple priorities, working under pressure and to tight deadlines
• Ability to apply skills and experience to St Mungo’s context and deliver change communications that are appropriate as well as effective

 Prospect Research Manager

Location: UK, remote or hybrid in London

The Drugs for Neglected Diseases initiative (DNDi) is an international, not-for-profit research and development (R&D) organization that develops and delivers new treatments for neglected diseases affecting millions of the world’s poorest people. 

Together with more than 200 public research and industry allies worldwide, we use the power of partnership, innovation, open science, and advocacy to find solutions to a great injustice: the lack of medicines for life-threatening diseases that disproportionately impact poor and marginalized people. Purpose of the position

We’re looking for an experienced prospect researcher with strong analytical skills and an excellent knowledge of the global philanthropic space to join our Private Sector Fundraising team. You will be joining a growing major gifts programme with ambitious goals and a strong new business focus.

You will have prospect research experience in a global health, scientific or medical non-profit setting, and the ability to move comfortably between the worlds of research and philanthropy and to identify opportunities beyond the obvious.

The successful candidate will develop and implement an effective prospect research strategy supporting DNDi’s philanthropic ambitions, identifying new leads from foundations, philanthropists, trusts and companies, philanthropy collaboratives and funding calls. The role also involves setting up and socialising knowledge capture systems eg utilising Salesforce and communicating on good practice to other colleagues.

Specific Job Responsibilities

1. Strategy and planning:

· Assist in developing a proactive and growth-focused prospect research strategy that aligns with DNDi's fundraising plans and strategic priorities.

· Develop and socialise processes and procedures relating to prospect research.

· Contribute to developing a visibility strategy for DNDi through the identification and tracking of prizes and relevant philanthropic and global health conferences.

2. Prospect identification:

· Identify and qualify prospective donors by cross-referencing information from our supporter database, external databases, funding calls, media sources, and biographical references.

· Conduct in-depth research on prospective donors and contacts.

· Build, track, and report on prospective donors for various funding priorities, ensuring they meet fundraising ambitions.

· Develop strong relationships internally, promoting the effective use of research information.

3. Prospect management:

· Make data-driven recommendations to support the cultivation of new prospects and the management of key donor relationships.

· Ensure fundraisers have dynamic prospect portfolios optimized to meet fundraising targets.

· Provide timely, accurate, and relevant information to fundraisers and organisational leaders as required, including meeting briefings.

4. Communication and internal capacity building:

· Present research results through written reports and presentations for various audiences.

· Present on aspects of prospect research and good practices to internal audiences

5. Knowledge capture/retention, compliance and due diligence:

· Input and maintain accurate information in Salesforce to support ongoing relationships and work with relevant team members on the systemization of knowledge capture, pipeline reporting and prospect ranking systems in Salesforce.

· Conduct ethical screening and due diligence research on prospects and donors to ensure compliance with DNDi's policies.

· Ensure compliance with data protection regulations in relation to data processing and use of prospect management tools.

6. Resourcing:

· Manage relationships with relevant external suppliers, including contractual and budgetary aspects, and oversee the use of prospect management tools.

· Monitor expenditure related to prospect research resources and make recommendations for resource optimization.

Job Requirements

Skills and Attributes

· Excellent understanding of the global philanthropic landscape and strong in-depth knowledge of the philanthropic landscape in at least 3-4 countries. Strong knowledge of the US, UK landscape is vital and knowledge of additional markets (Switzerland, Germany, Netherlands or Sweden) highly regarded, as is some prospect research experience focused on developing markets.

· Exceptional written and oral communication skills.

· Demonstrated strong ability to work as part of a multicultural team.

· Intellectual curiosity and ability to rapidly develop an understanding of DNDI’s work.

Experience

· Minimum 6 years’ relevant experience

· Master’s degree or equivalent in experience
