The role will be responsible for taking a holistic view over all restricted and unrestricted income streams, including institutional, trusts and foundations and individual grants and donations, as well as a managing a select portfolio of the charity’s most important funders. The Director of Income will sit on the Senior Leadership team, contributing to future strategy and overall business planning.
The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, with experience of working at a senior/director level in a complex, international organisation within the not-for-profit sector, and proven success prospecting for, securing and stewarding major six and seven figure grants. They will also have a track record in engaging with and securing funding from institutional donors – or equivalent income generation experience in another sector - as well as experience of securing funding from international sources. The role is full time. You will need to be committed to working flexible hours which may involve some evening and weekend work. Our client is looking for 2 people to join their dynamic and friendly Rent Service Team in Assistant Rent Service Partner roles.
This busy team processes Housing Benefit payments from 55 local authorities in the UK and collect over £45 million in rent and service charge plays a key role in the organisation to support clients to rebuild their lives. In this role you will:
- Provide administrative support to the Rent Service Team to facilitate early intervention of rent arrears overall.
- Be responsible for a caseload of up to 750 residents; working proactively to support clients in prevention of rent arrears within your designated caseload.
- Use your sound influencing skills in the recovery of former tenant rent arrears.
- Communicate effectively to provide high levels of customer service to internal and external stakeholders.
In this role you will be required to work for at least 2 days per week from their office in Tower Hill, London. This allows for training, in person collaboration, team building, line management and other relationship building opportunities. They support a flexible approach to work with opportunities for agile working for the rest of your week, from home.

- Some knowledge, and experience of tenancy management, income and arrears collection, or a willingness to develop these skills.

- Strong administration skills, attention to detail and the ability to use different IT packages including Microsoft Office.
- Good organisation and the ability to effectively prioritise your own time and workload.

The IBAHRI works with the global legal community to promote and protect human rights and the independence of the legal profession worldwide. The Institute provides human rights training and technical assistance for legal practitioners and institutions, building their capacity to effectively promote and protect human rights under a just rule of law. A leading institution in international fact-finding, the IBAHRI also produces expert reports with key recommendations, as well as undertaking advocacy and trial observations.
This is a role offered on a permanent contract, on a full-time basis, based in Chancery Lane, London with hybrid working arrangements.
The Programme Administrator is a fast-paced, varied, and exciting role where you will play a key role supporting the IBAHRI Director and five IBAHRI Programme Lawyers and provide logistical, administrative, and financial support to IBAHRI projects worldwide.
The Programme Administrator will organise the practical arrangements for project events and activities, as well as book and co-ordinate all project travel arrangements. The postholder will also play an important role in budget management and ensuring all financial tasks are completed for the projects, as well as provide general IBAHRI logistical and administrative support. To be successful, you will have demonstratable experience in administration, specifically travel, financial, and event administration. You will have strong organisational skills and eye for detail when it comes to completing tasks. In addition to this, you will have strong IT literacy skills and experience using Microsoft Office, especially Microsoft Excel.
You will have excellent communication skills and experience dealing with high level external stakeholders. You will have experience working within a team and be able to work on your own initiative. You will have a flexible approach to tasks and be able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment, often on multiple issues simultaneously. You will also have experience working in varied contexts and/or with sensitive issues/information, exercising good judgement and discretion, and across different cultures, languages, and currencies. You will have the ability to work across time zones and out of hours, when required, and occasional travel abroad to support in-country activities, when required.
