About the role
We are seeking a Communications and Marketing Senior Manager to join our dedicated and ambitious team. A newly created role, the successful candidate will lead on the review and refresh of our website, e-newsletters and digital stakeholder engagement.
The successful candidate will report to our Director of Communications and Marketing. The role has no line management responsibility but will work closely with colleagues – including our Communications and Campaigns Manager, Digital Communications Assistant, Junior Graphic Designer and the fundraising teams – so you should be used to collaborating with others, in a dynamic environment.

Duties and responsibilities
Communications and PR
- Develop and deliver an increased presence in national media to raise organisational profile and support growth in our reach, impact and fundraising.
- With the Communications and Campaigns Manager, manage reactive and proactive media activity.
- Support the wider organisation with key campaigns such as International Women’s Day and Smart Works Unemployment Index, suggesting ideas and aiding with the creation and delivery of content on key channels.
- Develop and champion Smart Work’s brand ensuring our vision, mission and values are central in all our communications and that our tone of voice, wider identity and brand principles are followed.
Website and Digital
- Manage the current website and planned updates, and review for future development with key audiences and local centres in mind.
- Develop and maintain the overall e-newsletter plan, and implement digital marketing activity to drive audiences to our website to take action to support our work
- Implement paid content marketing initiatives, recommending content, channels and budgets.
- With the Digital Communications Executive, develop and deliver Smart Work’s digital plan, coordinate proactive social and digital media activities.
- Utilise tools and analysis to report on specific projects and campaigns as needed, providing commentary and making recommendations on improving performance.
Person Specification
- A track record of meeting/exceeding communications and marketing targets, preferably within a charity and/or volunteer environment.
- Able to build an effective brand in line with a charities values and vision to meet organisation goals (including fundraising targets and increased use of services)
- Proven skills in digital communications, including managing websites, content management systems and e-newsletters, with an ability to analyse campaigns and content.
- Strong experience with SEO and social media platforms - with strategic use of targeting/retargeting tools across channels.
- Highly organised, able to plan and balance the need to support income generation with delivering impact for people who could benefit from Smart Work’s services.
- Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills, including the ability to write concisely and with impact
- Great team working skills and an awareness of expectations from other colleagues - collaborative, flexible and supportive.
- Project management skills: ability to plan and deliver projects on time, within budget to meet or exceed an objective.
- A strong creative and proactive approach to all areas of work, with ideas of how to engage target audiences and drive actions through communications.

Overview
Energise Africa is at an exciting and pivotal time in its development. We are currently recruiting a Commercial Director to drive the business as it looks to scale. Energise Africa has been founded and incubated by two of the leading direct impact investing platforms in Europe, Ethex in the UK and Lendahand in the Netherlands and backed by incredible supporters such as UKAid and P4G. Since 2017, during this seed stage, Energise Africa has raised over £35m from UK retail investors to accelerate energy access in Sub–Saharan Africa and has won numerous awards including the UN Climate Action award for climate friendly investments.
As we get ready to take on new investment, and expand into new geographies and sectors, it is time for the organisation to build a new dedicated team.
Commercial Director
To take our business to the next level we need a dedicated Commercial Director to help accelerate our growth.
There are four key strands to the role:
Strategy and New Business
· Work alongside the CEO to develop the growth strategy for Energise Africa
· Managing existing and develop new origination partnerships to bring new issuers to the platform
· Lead the EA origination efforts and structure proposed transactions
· Work alongside our operations team to ensure efficient processes are developed and implemented to ensure smooth onboarding of new investees
· Work alongside our marketing team to ensure that origination partners and investees give us the information that they need to effectively promote investment opportunities
· Drafting and negotiation of agreements with origination partners and prospective investees
· Lead the due diligence process, present cases to the Investment Committee and onboard new investees
· Manage existing and explore new co-financing partnerships
Investee Management
· Demonstrate excellent relationship management with our origination partners and investees.
· Monitor and manage the investment portfolio along with our origination partners.
· Manage workout situations and restructuring of clients in arrears with support from the legal team and origination partners.
Leadership
· As a key member of the Energise Africa Senior Management Team, help to build the investment strategy for Energise Africa and to deliver against agreed objectives.
Product Development
· Cooperate in product development which may involve different currency solutions, guarantees and de-risking projects as well as looking at innovative financing structures.
· Support the development of new tools and technology to make the investment process more efficient.

Key skills and experience:
· A passion for sustainable development/impact investing or similar.
· 5 years of experience in impact investing (debt or equity) or corporate lending in emerging markets and/or in renewable energy or climate finance sectors.
· Experience of helping to scale a start-up and/or entrepreneurship within a company.
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
· Great negotiation skills - cooperative, empathetic and get the deals closed.
· Excellent communication skills and the ability to represent EA at the highest levels.
· Fluent in English and ideally French or Spanish, both written and spoken.
· Willing to travel internationally (global emerging/frontier markets and European countries).
· Tech-savvy and proven experience with data-driven investment decisions.
· Bachelors or Masters degree.

Together with the Governance Manager, you will be the key point of contact for compliance, providing advice and support to the team and ensuring we have procedures and controls in place across all areas of the charity. Key Responsibilities
- Promote a culture of compliance and be a point of contact for all compliance and data protection queries, providing accurate advice to ensure compliance with regulations.

Role Overview:

Purpose of role
To manage the annual programme of the PPA psychoanalytic psychotherapy qualifying training and the Advanced Clinical Course. To promote and grow the trainings. To manage the budget and collect and report on performance management data. To track all trainees’ progress, to ensure the smooth running of all elements of the teaching provision and to liaise and work in collaboration with the PPA training committee (TC), curriculum committee (CC), selection committee (SC) and post graduate committee (PGC).
Accountable to
The post will be line managed by the office manager will be accountable to and work in close collaboration with the committees of the PPA.
Key responsibilities
1) To oversee and manage the delivery of the annual programme of the PPA trainings in collaboration with the TC and PGC.
a) Booking clinical, theory and group seminar leaders in collaboration with TC and PGC.
b) In liaison with the Director of Marketing, Communications and Engagement place adverts for supervisors, teachers, and group leaders as appropriate.
c) Ensure that trainees and TC have an up-to-date list of Training Analysts, Training Supervisors and Approved Therapists
d) Room booking for all aspects of the programme.
e) Annual review, update and production of handbooks and all written materials for course.
f) Collaboration with the library to track reading list production.
g) To be the first point of contact in cases of emergency.
h) To collect, collate and report on trainee feedback.
2) To oversee the annual trainee selection for the trainings.
a) To be the first point of contact for potential applicants, giving out appropriate information about the trainings and passing appropriate inquiries onto the training advisors.

d) Ensure consistent messaging about PPA trainings across internal and external communications.
e) To have oversight of the cycle of reaccreditation with the BPC.
5) To ensure effective administrative and financial management of PPA trainings.
a) To take lead on ensuring all communication with trainees is up to date including collection of fees, sending out handbooks, curriculums, all training materials, and dates.
b) To work with the Director of Corporate Services to oversee and maintain budgetary control of both trainings.
c) To work with the Director of Corporate Services to provide management reporting data.
d) To collect and report on data collection of protected characteristics.
e) To provide budget updates to the training committee.
f) To recommend and implement improvements to PPA training admin systems and processes.
g) To manage all payments from trainees and to teaching staff.
6) To work with all PPA committees to maintain the functioning and growth of the PPA association.

As well as working on client files, you will liaise with the Legal Aid Agency to ensure their cases receive public funding, making sure documentation is prepared for court hearings, and arranging for experts and other participants to take part in proceedings.

About the role
As part of the Development Team, you will be joining our existing Individual Giving Assistant to work together to provide administrative support for the Trust’s income generation activities, including processing new supporter records and memberships/ donations, data entry, providing high-level supporter service to existing and new supporters, supporting our donor stewardship and development activities.

The role

We're seeking an Assistant Director Communications who's had proven success in developing B2B communication strategies within regulated financial or political environments.

The Role:
You will be working closely with the Director of Department to deliver an external affairs strategy. Your role will be pivotal in managing Employer Engagement campaigns, ensuring alignment and consistency across 13 regions. You'll be the go-to expert for the Employer Recognition Scheme communicating with major employers and play a key role in managing high-profile events and dispersed stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a three-year Communications strategy and an annual Communications plan.
- Lead the delivery of national Gold Award campaigns and key Employer Engagement events.
- Foster strong relationships with wider Communications and policy teams
- Manage a dedicated team of 4, inspiring and guiding them towards success.
We're Looking For:
- A background in general marketing communications where you've gained experience with stakeholder engagement and/or internal communications

PA to the Archdeacon

The PA to the Archdeacon is a crucial and incredibly varied role at the Diocese, as you will provide support at a senior level to ensure the smooth running of the work of the Archdeacon’s Office in Maidstone.
As PA to the Archdeacon, you will be responsible for managing their diary, arranging meetings, events, training, diocesan responsibilities and other functions as necessary. You will also proactively assess the needs of the Archdeacon to provide organisational and administrative support to meet their wide-ranging responsibilities and the needs of the deaneries and parishes within the Archdeaconry area.
Reporting to the EA to the Diocesan Secretary, you will act as a friendly first point of contact and build excellent relationships with all who come into contact with the work of the Office.
Assisting the Archdeacon in the coordination and organisation of legal and procedural processes related to the work of the Archdeaconry or the wider diocese, you will also support with the filling of clergy vacancies in parishes, ensuring that the necessary meetings are arranged and all paperwork is completed on time.
Educated to a good standard, you should have proven experience as an administrator or Executive Assistant and of working with senior members of staff. With excellent administrative skills and demonstrable interpersonal and organisational abilities, you will be at ease developing structured, organised and highly efficient approaches to the work of the office of a senior leader ensuring work streams are delivered on time and to a high standard.
It is essential for you to be sympathetic to the mission and ethos of the Christian Church, the Church of England and the Diocese of Canterbury.

We are looking for a Regional (Peripatetic) Sessional Shop Assistant to cover four of our shops in Norfolk. These shops are Dereham, Downham Market, Swaffham and Wymondham and you would need to have access to your own transport or if not there would be a requirement to use public transport to fully cover these shops. All travel expenses would be covered.
