Job description

Are you passionate about supporting people to live independent, fulfilling lives?

We're looking for a caring and motivated Care Support Worker (BSL) to join our team in Basildon. This is a rewarding opportunity to support deaf individuals in their own homes and local communities, helping them build confidence, maintain their independence and achieve their goals.

Working 22.5 hours per week, you'll provide person-centred support with day-to-day living, wellbeing, community activities and appointments, while building meaningful relationships and making a genuine difference every day.

To be successful, you'll need a full UK manual driving licence and British Sign Language (BSL) skills, gained through training, qualifications or lived experience. Above all, we're looking for someone who is compassionate, reliable and committed to helping people live the lives they choose.

In return, you'll join an organisation that values kindness, inclusion and teamwork, with access to excellent benefits, ongoing training and opportunities to develop your career.

If you're ready to use your BSL skills to make a lasting impact, we'd love to hear from you. Apply today with your CV and a short supporting statement explaining why you'd be a great fit for the role.

This service operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, including weekends, bank holidays and overnight shifts, so flexibility is important.
