An independent UK charity is seeking an exceptional leader to become its next Chief Executive Officer, providing strategic and operational leadership at a pivotal moment for both the organisation and the wider policy and services landscape in which it operates.

Established in recent years, the charity has rapidly become a trusted and influential voice within its field, ensuring that lived experience perspectives inform public policy, system design and decision-making. Through thought leadership, constructive challenge and advocacy, the organisation works to ensure that lived experience voices are visible, valued and embedded where they can make the greatest difference.

As the organisation enters an exciting new phase of growth and development, the Chief Executive will provide visible, values-led leadership while strengthening governance, developing organisational capacity and building sustainable relationships across government, regulators, commissioners, funders and wider sector stakeholders.

You will champion the organisation's role as an independent and authoritative voice, ensuring lived experience insights remain at the heart of policy development, service improvement and system design.

This is a rare opportunity to lead a nationally respected organisation at a formative stage of its development. The successful candidate will play a central role in shaping the organisation's future direction, helping to build a sustainable organisation with the influence and credibility to drive meaningful change across its sector.

To be successful, you will bring:

• Senior leadership experience as a Chief Executive, Director or equivalent within the charity, public or health-related sectors.
• A track record of leading organisations through growth, transition, organisational development or significant change.
• Strong experience of influencing policy, systems change and complex stakeholder environments.
• The ability to build credibility with government, commissioners, funders, regulators and other senior stakeholders.
• Experience of developing and delivering organisational strategy whilst building operational resilience and sustainability.
• Strong financial, governance and organisational leadership skills.
• A commitment to equality, inclusion and ensuring lived experience meaningfully informs decision-making.
