Location: Central London, hybrid (1 day per week on site)
Contract: Temporary, until January 2027
Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week
Pay: £18.80 per hour (+ £2.27 holiday pay) (circa £36,760 salaried equivalent)

Prospectus is delighted to be supporting our client, an international environmental charity, in the search for a temporary Programme Officer.
The role will be focused on providing comprehensive programme coordination, including administrative, technical, and financial aspects, creating an exciting opportunity for experienced professional to make an immediate impact.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, coordinate and deliver projects to agreed timelines, ensuring objectives are met and progress is communicated to relevant stakeholders.
- Manage project activities with minimal supervision, identifying and escalating risks where necessary.
- Set up, monitor and track project budgets, maintaining accurate financial records and highlighting any variances.
- Support monitoring, evaluation and learning activities, including data collection, analysis and reporting on project outcomes.
- Track progress against project goals and contribute to the identification of lessons learned and continuous improvement opportunities.
- Prepare accurate and timely reports for internal teams, funders and other stakeholders.
- Act as a key point of contact for partners, consultants and internal colleagues, building effective working relationships.
- Coordinate communication across stakeholder groups to ensure projects run smoothly and issues are resolved promptly.
- Support collaboration across teams to contribute to wider programme and organisational objectives.
Key Requirements:
- Recent, relevant experience in a similar role within a charitiable or not-for-profit organisation, with knowledge of programme or project coordination, budget management, and monitoring, evaluation, and learning.
- High level of organisation and attention to detail, with the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the confidence to build strong stakeholder relationships.
- Collaborative and proactive approach, with the capability to work both independently and in a team.
