Job description

Age UK Bromley & Greenwich is a local, independent charity with a reputation for quality and innovation and the leading voluntary sector provider of services to older people in the London Boroughs of Bromley & Greenwich.

About the Role

Age UK Bromley & Greenwich is looking to appoint an Assessment and Allocations Officer to provide high quality and person-centred needs and risk based assessments for prospective and existing clients. The role includes assessing clients who reside in the London borough of Bromley or the Royal Borough of Greenwich, within their own homes if appropriate, and subsequently allocating services to those clients as deemed suitable.

Joining the charity at an exciting time of development and expansion, you will be a key player in helping us reach our clients with existing and new services.

About You

We are seeking applications from individuals with experience of undertaking holistic assessments and reviews, and supporting older/vulnerable people to identify their needs. You will need to demonstrate a compassion and empathy for people in a professional manner, have excellent communication, organisational and IT skills and experience of building relationships.

In return the successful candidates will be provided with comprehensive training to fulfil the role.
