The role
The Digital Communications Officer will own and manage our social media presence, plan and deliver content across digital platforms, and drive public engagement with our brand and strategic objectives. 

With experience across a range of social and digital channels you will need to be a strong communicator, with the ability to build relationships with people within the organisation and external stakeholders. You will have an eye for design and be competent in creating engaging copy for a variety of audiences.

The Digital Communications Officer will play a key role in supporting the Head of Communications & Marketing manage the ‘public face’ and reputation of the MS Trust.

Strategic and Operational Leadership

• Ensure accommodation-based services provide secure, therapeutic environments that support clients to maintain their tenancy and build recovery capital. 

• Oversee SCT’s peer-led recovery community (‘Choices’) and user involvement in our social enterprises, creating training and work experience pathways for people in recovery.

The Royal College of Ophthalmologists (RCOphth) is a membership organisation and the voice of the profession, with over 4,000 members in the UK and overseas. Main Purpose

The RCOphth provides education, support and professional development for ophthalmologists of all grades and across all of their roles. You will work closely with colleagues and editors/co-editors to ensure that this membership benefit is valued by the membership and external audiences and their experience when using the platform is optimised.

Key Responsibilities

• Management of the INSPIRE digital learning platform (Brightspace)
• Work with Editors, Co-Editors, Instructors and Contributors on the production of high-quality digital learning materials in terms of content, level and educational rigour

INSPIRE Platform

• Provide a skilled helpdesk service to users. This can involve talking users through how to use the platform, and sometimes dealing with difficult technical enquiries that require explanations to non-technical users.
• Manage the progression of materials through the necessary stages of creation and development and ensuring that materials are uploaded onto INSPIRE in a timely manner.
• Develop the functionality of the platform and managing its interaction with other software such as the membership database and collection of payments

Editors/Co-Editors/Instructors/Contributors

• Provide support to Editors and Co-Editors in loading resources onto the INSPIRE platform and integrating them to create learning materials.  This will entail formatting and editing text, images and video for house style and grammar whilst maintaining medical/scientific accuracy.
• Checking consent and clearing copyright/licensing permissions for materials used in INSPIRE.
• Organising Editor and Co-Editor meetings and workshops.
• Create mechanisms to obtain user feedback on learning materials and evaluate the platform to direct change.

Communications/Liaison

• Liaise with internal colleagues in the Department, the Communications Team and external stakeholders in relation to the development and promotion of online resources.
• Liaising with College staff from other departments about current and future projects that require support from INSPIRE or will generate learning materials for the platform.
• Liaise with those organising and delivering courses and webinars to record presentations, select and upload materials, and create specific learning pathways for delegates.
• Work with the Education Co-ordinator to design and produce promotional materials for resources.
• Work with e-Learning for Health (e-LfH) on the materials that the College has on that platform and integrate materials onto INSPIRE. This includes attending the Content Provider Group meetings of which this College is a member as well as other meetings as appropriate.

Overview and key points on the role  | Rape Crisis South London is looking for 2 part time skilled, passionate and professional Caseworkers who will be based within the Advocacy Service.  As a Caseworker you will support clients through their journey through the housing and benefits system by providing practical and emotional support to survivors of sexual violence.  You should have a good working knowledge of Housing processes and Welfare benefits systems with experience of carrying out assessments and completing applications.  In addition to having excellent interpersonal, communication and facilitation skills you should also be able to develop key relationships with external agencies such as the local authority.   You should have demonstrable experience working with survivors of sexual violence and of working in a trauma-informed way. Leeds Cancer Centre diagnoses and treats cancer for the people of Leeds and the Yorkshire region. The centre is one of the largest in the UK and provides some of the most up-to-date treatment, care, and support for people with cancer. The Cancer Centre Fundraiser is a pivotal role for patients, families and hospital staff who are interested in supporting the charity and the Cancer Centre.

The Role

· Responsible for engaging with and developing positive relationships with hospital colleagues, patients and families.

· Develop innovative fundraising campaigns specifically aimed at raising awareness and funds for the Cancer Centre.

· Working with and supporting both new and existing supporters.

· Work collaboratively with colleagues to implement hospital engagement and communication plans.

· Attend a range of fundraising events/activities,  some of which will be outside normal working hours.

· Ensure all activity within the team complies with the charity’s values, the Fundraising Code of Practice and          other relevant regulation and guidance.

· Maintain accurate records of supporter interaction on our CRM system to aid delivery of an exceptional supporter experience and to harness the value of data.

The successful candidate will:

· Possess exceptional communication skills with the ability to quickly build and maintain rapport with a wide range of stakeholders

· Be confident working independently and as part of a team.

· Have the ability to provide exceptional stewardship to supporters.

· Have proven fundraising experience with a drive to achieve results.

· Be able to show a working knowledge of fundraising principles, methods and procedures.

About the role:

The Team Leader will lead on the delivery of the Triage Model in their pilot area/s, providing support, case management and supervision for the Triage Worker and IDVA roles. They will act as the first point of contact assessing the suitability of initial referrals to be allocated to a Triage Worker for a full assessment. The Team Leader will support the Service Manager and Practice and Development Lead in developing multi agency relationships for the successful implementation of the model and will take a lead role in maintaining these relationships locally to ensure operational success when undertaking assessments to try and ensure the right recommendations for positive requirements are made but also to support the ongoing development of a national delivery model and to support the evaluation of the pilot.

About you:

• At least 3 years’ experience of working on complex cases in a multi-agency environment and working with other professionals/agency to manage risk and safeguard vulnerable adults and children
• An understanding of the root causes of domestic abuse on both an individual and societal level
• Experience of working in a partnership with other organisations and managing the challenges that may arise
• Knowledge of safe and effective interventions with perpetrators of domestic abuse across different risk and needs groups
• To manage a complex workload, across multiple geographic regions, and effectively meet reporting deadlines and the needs of a wide range of stakeholders.
