Job description

Richmond Borough Mind (RB Mind) is seeking an experienced and passionate Floating Support Coordinator to lead the delivery of our Wandsworth Mental Health Floating Support Service. The service works in close partnership with Wandsworth Adult Social Care, housing providers, primary care, and local VCSE partners to deliver holistic, multi-agency reablement pathways.

This is an exciting opportunity to help adults experiencing mental health challenges build independence, sustain their tenancies, and achieve positive outcomes through person-centred, trauma-informed support.

As the operational lead, you will coordinate day-to-day service delivery, oversee referral and triage processes, support and supervise staff, and work closely with partners across health, housing, and social care services. You will also manage a small caseload of complex cases and play a key role in safeguarding and quality assurance.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Leading service coordination and referral triage processes.
  • Supervising, supporting, and developing frontline support staff.
  • Managing a small caseload of complex and high-risk cases.
  • Ensuring high-quality, trauma-informed and outcome-focused support.
  • Monitoring service performance, quality standards, and KPIs.
  • Building strong relationships with housing, health, social care, and voluntary sector partners.
  • Supporting safeguarding processes and positive risk management.

About You

We're looking for someone with:

·        Experience leading or coordinating teams within mental health, housing support, social care, or community services.

·        Strong knowledge of safeguarding, the Care Act 2014, strengths-based practice, and trauma-informed approaches.

·        Experience managing complex referrals, risk assessments, and multi-agency partnerships.

·        Excellent communication, organisation, and leadership skills.

·        Confidence using case management systems, Microsoft Office, and digital tools.

·        A commitment to equality, inclusion, co-production, and recovery-focused support.

What We Offer

  • 25 days annual leave plus public holidays.
  • Additional annual leave for long service.
  • Stakeholder pension scheme.
  • Ongoing training and professional development opportunities.
  • Flexible and supportive working environment.
  • Employee wellbeing support and reflective supervision.

If you're an experienced practitioner with a passion for mental health, leadership, and partnership working, we'd love to hear from you.
