The Health and Wellbeing Senior Project Coordinator will oversee a portfolio of high quality, accessible community-based programmes including On Your Side and Brentford Welcomes, working with specific target groups including refugees and people seeking asylum, mental health service users and adults aged 55+. They will also support the Bee a Hero project, designed to raise awareness of the need for more blood donors, with a particular focus on people of Black Heritage.

In addition, we are opening a Clubhouse Café in Gunnersbury Park in Summer 2025 and the successful candidate will work on innovative social impact programmes linked to the Clubhouse Café. This is an exciting opportunity to join an ambitious, forward-thinking department and play a pivotal role in improving health outcomes through new and existing projects.

The ideal candidate will be self-motivated and enjoy working with autonomy. They will also be confident working in a fast-paced environment and will have efficient time management skills. Innovative approaches to session design and promotion of activities to varying target audiences will be important as well as building networks and inspiring engagement.

Interim Finance Business Partner | £375 - £400 per day | 3-6 months

For a leading university in central London, we're recruiting an interim Finance Business Partner for 3-6 months. Reporting to the Head of Finance, this role will work as a trusted advisor to several non-finance budget holders and academic staff within the faculty and several Corporate / Professional Services areas. The interim Finance Business Partner will manage all areas of their management accounting and financial planning, providing insightful financial information, analysis, and reporting to help with decision-making. This is a key role during a period of change as the University implements Technology One, so experience in this system is highly desirable.

Main Duties:

• Prepare budgets, forecasts, and monthly management accounts with review and interpretation of results, MI, risks and opportunities for budget holders
• Produce reports and analysis on cost drivers for stakeholders, and provide analysis on complex data sets for decision-making
• Prepare management accounts liaising with the financial accounting team to ensure all transactions and journals are robust and accurate
• Build strong relationships with budget holders, meeting frequently and providing support and decision-making advice
• Produce monthly commentary on the management accounts for budget holder groups
• Prepare and deliver for yearly budget and quarterly forecasting process
• Support the implementation of Technology One, including the roll-out of user training and workshops for budget holders on finance processes

Person Specification:

• CCAB qualified accountant with a strong track record of Finance Business Partnering

Baca is dedicated to providing support and care to 16 to 18 year old unaccompanied asylum seeking children who are newly arrived in the country, helping them rebuild their strength, dignity, and hope for the future. We are looking for a confident, compassionate and organised practitioner to deliver focused family support with a strong focus on early learning. This role combines practical support for families with children and delivery of child development interventions such as Making it REAL and Big Hopes Big Futures. You will also help build volunteer capacity, from supporting volunteers with resource bags to contributing to outreach, engagement and group work, depending on your experience.

Duties and Key Responsibilities:

Direct Support to Families

• Hold a small caseload of families with children delivering up to 2 hours of support per week on a short-term basis.
• Conduct home and community visits to support early childhood development, build resilience and improve family wellbeing.

About the Dreamers

The Dreamers is a co-produced project that aims to improve the mental health of young (16-25-year-old) refugees and asylum seekers. The project is delivered through a partnership between Oasis, TGP Cymru and Cardiff and Vale Health Inclusion Service (CAVHIS) along with the young people who are seeking sanctuary or have received refugee status in the UK. The partnership project is hosted by Oasis and funded by the National Lottery.

Who We Are

Oasis is a community space in the heart of Cardiff, which gives a warm Welsh welcome to around 2500 people seeking sanctuary (asylum seekers and refugees) per year across South Wales. We empower them to reach their aspirations for themselves and their families by providing;

• education and career pathways

• community integration activities to build relationships at Oasis and in their local communities

• opportunities to influence the services and systems that impact their lives

Main Duties

• Engage with young people to involve them in the project
• Act as a peer contact for young people including through 1 to 1 case work

• Orientation visits to external services and locations, welcome workshops and early intervention for new arrivals
• Support colleagues with the delivery of activities at evening youth group once a week and co-produced social media marketing of the project

About the role

We’re looking for a Digital Marketing Officer with paid advertising and organic social media experience to join our Digital team.

As Digital Marketing Officer, you’ll be responsible for creating email marketing campaigns, running paid advertising activity and creating content across organic social channels to help teams across the organisation hit their objectives. You’ll be joining our friendly and expert Digital Engagement Team. 

You’ll have previous experience managing email and paid marketing campaigns, creating content for social channels and using digital platforms including Meta Business Manager, Email Service Providers and GA4.

What will I be doing?

Email responsibilities

• Deliver end-to-end email campaigns including briefing, copywriting, creation in Dotdigital, send and evaluation 

Paid responsibilities 

• Deliver paid digital marketing campaigns in-house including running virtual challenge ads in Meta – working with the Product Lead to design the campaign plan, draft the copy, build in-platform, optimise and evaluate 
• Assist with paid advertising campaigns run by our digital media agency, ensuring they have clear briefs, assets are provided on-time and campaigns are delivered to plan

General Digital Marketing responsibilities

• Be part of the team’s social media monitoring rota and moderate our social channels - ensuring comments are appropriately handled in line with the social media policy
• Create and schedule content across organic social channels to support key campaigns 
• Monitor the impact of marketing campaigns reporting on KPIs and metrics using digital marketing tools including GA4, Lookerstudio, Meta Business Manager, Google Ads and Bing Ads in-platform reporting

About the Role

As Chief Executive Officer, you will provide strategic and operational leadership for the charity, reporting to the Board of Trustees. You will lead a committed team of staff and volunteers to ensure the continued delivery of safe, inclusive, and transformative experiences for young people, while ensuring Blackwell Adventure remains financially sustainable and future-focused.

Key areas of responsibility include:

• Strategic planning and organisational governance
• Operational and programme delivery across Blackwell Court and Pikes Pool
• Fundraising and income diversification, including grant acquisition and commercial development
• Financial planning, risk management, and regulatory compliance
• External representation and partnership development
• Team leadership and values-driven cultural stewardship
• This is a hands-on leadership role suited to someone who is equally comfortable setting vision, making strategic decisions, managing complex operations, and building strong, positive relationships with partners and funders.

Higher-level outdoor qualifications and familiarity with the voluntary or charitable sector will be advantageous.

This is a crucial and hands-on leadership role, responsible for overseeing the charity’s financial management. You will ensure accurate and timely financial and management reporting, maintain robust financial controls, support the Senior Leadership Team in strategic decision-making, and drive continual improvements in systems and processes.

Key Responsibilites:

Routine Financial Oversight

· Oversee all accounting, cash management, reconciliations and authorisation of payments.

· Monitor day-to-day financial operations: banking transactions, current and deposit accounts, payroll, and other transactions.

· Maintain the fixed assets register and monthly depreciation.

· Manage cash flow, investing excess cash where appropriate.

Budgeting, Forecasting & Reporting

· Manage and prepare annual budgets and forecasts in collaboration with the Director of Operations and senior leadership team.

· Provide timely, accurate and accessible management accounts and reports for senior managers, budget holders and Trustees.

· Interpret complex financial information clearly for non-finance colleagues.

· Regularly update forecasts with a target of quarterly reporting.

Statutory Accounts, Compliance & Audit

· Lead the preparation and audit of end-of-year statutory accounts, working closely with external accountants/auditors.

· Ensure all statutory obligations are met including VAT returns, Gift Aid claims, Companies House, Charity Commission and HMRC requirements.

· Stay up to date with Charity SORP and charity sector financial regulations, ensuring compliance and training the team accordingly.

Systems, Process Improvement & Controls

· Design and implement financial systems and process improvements to drive efficiency.

· Maintain strong financial governance and internal controls.

· Monitor the effectiveness of financial practices and policies and make recommendations for improvements.

Team Leadership

· Supervise, develop and motivate the Finance Team to achieve high standards.

· Carry out quarterly reviews and provide day-to-day support.

· Foster a collaborative, proactive working culture.

Event Finance Management

· Oversee financial management at New Wine events, including systems for income reconciliation, cash controls, onsite banking and petty cash.

· Ensure accurate reconciliation of income from the event booking system.

HR & Payroll Administration

· Oversee payroll preparation and submissions including HMRC and pensions.

Other Duties

· Respond to queries from Trustees, Director of Operations, budget managers and external stakeholders as required.

· Work well with all members of the wider staff team.

· Attend and sometimes lead staff prayers and other meetings.

Essential Skills & Experience

• CCAB qualified accountant or equivalent substantial experience
• Significant experience in financial management, accounting, and budgetary control
• Proven track record in producing management and statutory accounts, and managing audits
• In-depth knowledge of Charity SORP, financial governance, and compliance within the charity sector
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Proficiency in Xero and Microsoft Office, including Excel (advanced), Outlook, Word, and Teams
• Experience in payroll administration, including workplace pensions and leave accruals
• Experience of financial governance and control mechanisms
• Proactive approach to adopting new and more efficient ways of working, using the latest software where appropriate, and providing timely, accurate and relevant reports to colleagues.
• Experience supervising or line managing staff, with the ability to develop and motivate teams

Desirable Skills & Experience

• Experience managing restricted or trust funds
• Up-to-date and practical VAT knowledge
• Experience within a faith-based or charity organisation
• Experience engaging with Boards or Trustees
