We are seeking a friendly, professional and highly organised Receptionist to act as the first point of contact for people accessing Citizens Advice Doncaster Borough. This role is central to the delivery of a high‑quality advice service and plays an important part in ensuring clients receive accurate information, are treated with respect, and experience a consistent and welcoming service.

You will support the smooth running of the organisation by managing enquiries effectively, maintaining accurate records, and contributing to our quality assurance standards. This role requires a strong commitment to confidentiality, data accuracy, and the Citizens Advice aims and principles.

Key Responsibilities

Client Access & First Contact

• Welcome clients, staff and visitors in a professional, calm and supportive manner, ensuring everyone feels respected and listened to.
• Act as the first point of contact for face‑to‑face and email enquiries, providing appropriate triage and signposting in line with Citizens Advice procedures.
• Provide accurate, clear and consistent information about Citizens Advice services, maintaining professional boundaries at all times.

Quality Assurance & Standards

• Ensure all client interactions and administrative processes meet Citizens Advice quality standards, including accuracy, confidentiality and consistency.
• Record client details and enquiry information accurately to support continuity of service, monitoring and reporting.
• Follow agreed procedures, policies and guidance to ensure compliance with Advice Quality Standard (AQS) requirements.
• Support the wider team by maintaining reliable systems and contributing to the overall quality of service delivery.

Administration & Office Support

• Manage appointment booking systems and staff calendars efficiently.
• Provide organisation‑wide administrative support to ensure the service runs smoothly on a day‑to‑day basis.
• Maintain an organised, safe and welcoming reception area.
• Carry out data entry, filing, scanning and document management accurately and in a timely manner.
• Use Google Workspace and other IT systems confidently to support service delivery.

Job Description

Job Title - Welfare Rights & Tribunal Adviser

Salary- £29,000 per annum 

Hours37 hours per week (Full Time)

Location- Doncaster – office based, outreach locations, and tribunal attendance as required

Role Purpose

To provide specialist welfare rights advice, casework, and representation to clients, including preparation and attendance at welfare benefit tribunals. The postholder will support clients to maximise income, challenge incorrect benefit decisions, and access their full entitlements, in line with the aims, principles, and quality standards of the Citizens Advice service.

Key Responsibilities

Advice & Casework

• Provide specialist advice on welfare benefits including Universal Credit, PIP, ESA, DLA, and Housing Benefit.

• Prepare and submit mandatory reconsiderations and benefit appeals.

• Represent clients at First‑tier Social Security Tribunals where appropriate.

• Carry out detailed benefit checks and income maximisation.

• Act for clients where necessary by drafting appeal submissions, negotiating with the DWP and other agencies, and making referrals where appropriate.

• Empower clients to understand their rights and options and enable them to make informed decisions.

• Maintain accurate, timely, and comprehensive case records in line with Citizens Advice systems and procedures.

• Ensure all casework meets the Advice Quality Standard (AQS) and internal quality requirements.

Outreach & Partnership Working

• Deliver advice services at outreach venues across Doncaster as required.

• Build and maintain effective working relationships with partner agencies, statutory bodies, and community organisations to ensure joined‑up support for clients.

Research & Campaigns

• Contribute to the Citizens Advice research and campaigns agenda by recording evidence of client issues and emerging trends.

• Provide anonymised case studies and data to support local and national policy work.

Professional Development & Quality

• Keep up to date with welfare benefits legislation, case law, and procedural changes.

• Attend supervision, training, and team meetings as required.

• Work collaboratively with colleagues to share knowledge and support service delivery.

we are looking for an Events Fundraising Coordinator to join the Mungo’s Community and Events team. This new post will play a vital role in to managing, developing and growing our events fundraising area income stream. 

The Events Fundraising Coordinator will be responsible for managing and developing the event fundraising portfolio for St Mungo’s on a national scale, including large scale, virtual, bespoke challenge, third party and individual events. You will also lead on innovation and new projects with the aim of increasing our profile and income, to support our aim to end rough sleeping, and continue providing support to people experiencing homelessness. Key responsibilities will include:

• Design and develop events fundraising programme, supporting the current portfolio and leading on new activities.
• Recruit, steward and grow our event fundraisers and improve retention with engaging comms and increased donor initiatives.
• Lead the development and implementation of a range of fundraising activities, whilst nurturing current supporter relationships and developing new fundraising opportunities.
• Working closely with the marketing and digital fundraising team to promote and raise the profile for our events.
• Getting involved with other fundraising teams and supporting a wide range of fundraising activities across the calendar year, opening up opportunities to take part in a combination of fundraising, stewardship and improving our current events portfolio.
• Oversee end to end project management, and challenge event delivery, solving problems along the way.

Where you’ll be working

In this role you will work flexibly for at least 2 days per week from our Central Office in London. Travel across London and regions in the South of England is also required.

This allows for training, in person collaboration, team building, line management and other relationship building opportunities. We support a flexible approach to work with opportunities for hybrid working for the rest of your week; from home, or other St Mungo’s London or regional locations. 

Due to the nature of the role, some evening and weekends will also be required to oversee relevant events. Out of hours work will be offered back in the form of time off in lieu.

While our Central Office is currently based in Tower Hill, London we plan to relocate in the summer of 2026 to a new space in Farringdon, London.

About you

We are looking for someone with experience in events, community or individual giving fundraising, with a proven ability to deliver excellent customer service and positive donor journeys. Experience in volunteering, marketing or project management would also be beneficial.

We are recruiting a Queer Space Coordinator to lead the development and delivery of Greenwich’s Queer Space. Queer Space is for LGBTQIA+ individuals (18+) who live or have a GP in the Royal Borough of Greenwich and are looking to connect with others and get support for their mental health through engaging with peers.

As this service is peer-led, we are looking for a proactive and compassionate individual, with lived experience of LGBTQIA+ communities and mental health challenges, to coordinate the programme. This will include developing the service in line with service users' needs, facilitating the fortnightly sessions, and leading on project management and administration. Alongside this, we would like the Coordinator to recruit and supervise peer support volunteers to support with group facilitation.

You will have experience in group development, facilitation, and volunteer management, and an excellent understanding of service user engagement, particularly with the LGBTQIA+ community. You will be highly organised and proficient with case management tasks and project management administration.

Groups will be held at the Forum at Greenwich community centre and will take place twice a month, once in the evening and once in the afternoon. 

The role is for two 7.5 hour days per month, until 31 March 2027. 

Successful applicants will be expected to undergo an Enhanced Level Disclosure and Barring Service check.

About The Role

At Alzheimer’s Society, we believe no one should face dementia alone. Every conversation, every visit and every small moment of reassurance can make a real difference. We are looking for a warm, thoughtful and organised Dementia Adviser to join our supportive team in The Western Trust Area working 35 hours per week.

You will work closely with people living with dementia and those who care about them, providing ongoing support. You will listen carefully, understand what matters most to each person and offer guidance that helps them feel steadier and more confident as their situation changes.

Your days will be varied and meaningful. You might be visiting someone at home, offering calm reassurance over the phone, or working closely with GP surgeries and other professionals to make sure the right support is in place. We operate a triage system for new referrals and you will play your part in making sure people are responded to quickly and thoughtfully. This role pays particular attention in delivering our CrISP programmes which offers  informal training for carers. You will manage your own caseload, keeping clear and accurate records, while always seeing the person behind the paperwork.

You will be part of a caring and dynamic local team who share ideas, reflect together and support one another. There will be time to meet as a team and opportunities to keep growing your knowledge of dementia, with your manager and colleagues alongside you.

About you

You will have:

- An understanding of dementia, or a willingness to learn about the experiences of people living with dementia and those who care for them.
- Experience providing information, guidance, advice or emotional support - this could be from health, social care, community, voluntary, customer service or other people focused roles.
- You will be able to listen and communicate, with the ability to build trust and rapport with people from a wide range of backgrounds.

What the job involves

We’re looking for a Senior Evidence Officer to join our Data and Evidence team, who make sure our work is informed by the latest prostate cancer research. The team build and maintain our evidence base and turn complex findings into clear insight that helps drive change and improve outcomes for men.

As our Senior Evidence Officer, you’ll review and interpret clinical and scientific evidence on prostate cancer to inform Prostate Cancer UK’s positions and priorities. You’ll lead projects that ensure our strategic activity is underpinned by robust evidence, helping identify the health policy and clinical practice changes that will make the biggest difference for men.

You’ll analyse new and emerging research, making sure clinically effective advances are reflected in our strategic work. You’ll also design and lead in‑house research studies from start to finish, from developing objectives and writing protocols through to analysing and interpreting results, alongside carrying out evidence reviews to address gaps in knowledge.

Working closely with colleagues across the charity, you’ll contribute to horizon scanning so we stay informed about developments in research and clinical practice. You’ll support teams to use evidence accurately and confidently, work with policy and health influencing colleagues on technology appraisals and consultations such as NICE and SMC and respond quickly to evidence requests from across the organisation, including the media team.

If you enjoy working at the intersection of research, policy and real‑world impact, and want to use evidence to improve outcomes for men affected by prostate cancer, this role offers the chance to make a real difference.

What we want from you

We’re looking for a Senior Evidence Officer who enjoys working with evidence and using it to inform meaningful change. You’ll be confident critically appraising a wide range of evidence sources and drawing balanced conclusions about how that evidence should be used. You’ll be comfortable working with both qualitative and quantitative data, including interpreting statistical outputs from clinical trials and audits. You’ll likely have experience working at postgraduate level in health sciences, or equivalent practical experience gained through your career.

You’ll have experience designing and leading research or analysis projects that generate new evidence, and you’ll feel confident supporting others to develop sound research methods. You’ll also have a good understanding of how health services and systems work across the UK, including the data sources that support them.

You’ll be a clear and credible communicator, able to explain evidence in a way that lands with a wide range of audiences. You can move easily between writing technical research papers and creating accessible summaries for non‑specialist audiences, translating complex information into plain English. You’re comfortable working across teams, juggling different requests for evidence and responding accurately and on time.

Experience of conducting literature reviews, including rapid, semi‑systematic or full systematic reviews and broader evidence syntheses, would be a bonus.

The Role

This is a rare opportunity for an experienced partnerships professional to take the next step in their career and join this award-winning, fast-paced Corporate Partnerships team. Working within Royal Museums Greenwich’s highly successful Development department, you will be an active part of the continued growth of this this important national museum. 

Reporting to the Senior Manager, Corporate Partnerships, the Corporate Partnerships Fundraiser is responsible for securing high level sponsorships and partnerships, and maintaining and growing the corporate membership programme. Key elements of the role include playing an active part in developing and delivering the Corporate Fundraising plan, identifying and initiating approaches to potential new corporate supporters for the Museum, and delivering compelling pitches and proposals to the highest standard.

The successful candidate will have proven experience of securing support of 5-6 figures from corporate supporters, or equivalent relevant agency business development and account management. An excellent account management track record is essential for this role, as is the ability to juggle competing priorities effectively with strong time management skills. The role holder will also have excellent communication skills, including written, presentation, and negotiation skills, and a proven ability to work to tight deadlines and adapt to changing circumstances. You will be joining a team that works very hard, but with greatly rewarding results!

This is a full-time, fixed-term role until 30 June 2028, in Band 5 - Management and Proficient Specialists. Core hours of work will be 36, 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday, with an additional hour to be worked as agreed upon with management. Due to the nature of the work flexibility is required in meeting the demands of the role.

Salary: £40,500 per annum

As we grow, we are looking to recruit a Communications Officer to join the Communications team.

As our ideal candidate you will need to be in commuting distance to our Leeds warehouse, meaning you can travel regularly to meet with the team. This is a hybrid role based between the Leeds warehouse and home, with at least one day per week at the warehouse. Some travel to other locations may be required occasionally for events.

About the role 

Our adviser teams work within local areas providing a wide range of expert information and guidance, via a variety of channels including community settings. You’ll provide a personalised service that enables appropriate levels of self-advocacy and/ or advocate on behalf of clients, signposting to other services as relevant.

You’ll empower people affected by Parkinson’s, their families and carers to live lives that are as fulfilling as possible and to take an active role in their treatment becoming their own advocate in health and life, wherever possible.

What you’ll do:

• Provide in depth, person-centred information and guidance to clients by a range of means, including community settings, and ensuring the most efficient and effective use of resources in line with service policy

• Respond to enquiries through a range of channels and areas based on service need, keeping accurate, up to date online client records in line with practice

• Make best use of time in providing an effective client service

• Recognise and respond to potential safeguarding situations using established procedures

• Provide information on a variety of health and social care issues, including appropriate emotional support, employment and welfare benefits guidance and advocating with and on behalf of clients

What you’ll bring:

• Background and/or current experience in health and social care

• Experience of providing health and social care information through a range of channels

• Well-developed telephone skills including active listening and questioning

• Experience of supporting and empowering people with problem solving, navigating the health and social care system and participating in their own care 

• Experience managing a complex caseload effectively and efficiently 

• Demonstrable digital competence, with experience of effective use of a range of tools including online case management systems or similar

• Live in the area covered by the role (London) with the ability to travel and work flexibly

Purpose of the role

To deliver the Day One Casework bedside model to patients, or those closest to them, impacted by serious or multiple injuries which could result in life changing consequences, such as disability or death, within Leeds General Infirmary Hospital, providing support on some of the wards (such as rehabilitation), on-site clinics and other settings (e.g. rehabilitation centres). 

Have a visible physical presence within the Trust, becoming embedded into clinical teams focussing on major trauma pathways, facilitating outpatient and in-person legal clinics.

Key Responsibilites

The post holder’s primary duties and responsibilities are as follows: 

• Work closely, and in partnership, with NHS clinical staff and relevant community and voluntary sector organisations, to address the needs of patients, and those closest to them, affected by serious and life-changing injury. 

• Operate a case management approach to individuals, assessing and identifying needs, putting support in place including signposting, making referrals and direct support. 

• Provide consistency in assessment of all patients and their loved ones, irrespective of injury cause, age, status, giving access to the earliest possible specialist legal advice which supports rehabilitation and NHS cost recovery. 

• Maintain detailed case records, including accurate records of activity and intervention, using Day One’s Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system, capturing and storing data in line with Day One policies and procedures and regulatory requirements. 

• Contributing towards report writing through the writing case studies and narrative to support data collection. 

• Implement processes and procedures to collect patient and family feedback and contribute to ongoing monitoring and evaluation of Day One services through providing relevant information, case studies and reports. 

• Deliver awareness raising presentations to clinical colleagues and departments. 

• Organise and facilitate outpatient and in person legal clinic drop-in sessions. 

• Build awareness of the role and charity’s purpose through building strong and effective relationships across the regional major trauma network, ensuring those who need it have access to Day One support. 

• Work closely with local authority, statutory and voluntary organisations to provide patient and family support and advocacy. 

• Help establish other support mechanisms once a person is no longer within the hospital setting, supporting the patient discharge process in conjunction with leadership from NHS staff. 

• Identify and support the recruitment and supervision of Day One volunteers, where appropriate. 

• Work closely in partnership with our Peer Support Service, focussed on promoting awareness and uptake within the region. 

• Work closely with the wider team on performance, quality, safety and effectiveness of all services, ensuring appropriate safeguarding policies are followed. 

• Work closely with our Fundraising and Communications team, supporting national activity, as well as regional initiatives to raise awareness and fundraise. 

• Be prepared to travel across the region and, on occasion, to other sites and national meetings as required. 

• Willingness to undertake continuous development and training for the role, including mandatory Day One and NHS Trust specific training. 

• Participate in external clinical supervision and monthly caseworker reflective practice to sessions to effectively explore and uphold professional boundaries within a safe, structure and supportive environment.

To work closely with those impacted by serious and life-changing injury, taking referrals and carrying out initial assessments of need, expertly navigating, signposting and putting services in place in the immediate aftermath of major trauma, including talking about and facilitating timely access to legal support to aid rehabilitation.

To establish and develop relationships with key stakeholders to promote Day One and address the needs of those affected by serious and life-changing injury. 

To work as part of the wider Day One Service’s team and organisation, taking responsibility for own record keeping and data collection in line with regulatory requirements.

We’re looking for an Advice & Wellbeing Specialist to provide high-quality, holistic support to residents, helping them sustain tenancies and improve their wellbeing. This is a 12‑month secondment/fixed term contract covering North West London and is a community‑based role. You will need to feel confident and comfortable visiting residents in their homes, with one day per week based in an office.

Your typical day could start by working with residents in their homes and neighbourhoods to understand their immediate needs. Later, you might deliver advice and wellbeing support in a community wellbeing hub before engaging with external stakeholders to build a strong network of support for our residents.

As an Advice & Wellbeing Specialist, you’ll deliver proactive and trauma-informed support tailored to residents’ needs. You’ll work closely with them to understand wellbeing concerns and agree an action plan to enable them to sustain their tenancies and feel connected to their community. You’ll empower residents through positive engagement, helping them develop skills and resilience to lead independent and fulfilled lives.

Your key responsibilities

You’ll deliver personalised, trauma-informed advice and wellbeing support in the community, taking a holistic approach to tenancy, health, and social needs. You’ll manage safeguarding cases with care, build strong relationships with internal teams like Neighbourhood Managers, Financial Inclusion, and Repairs, and collaborate with external partners such as local authorities, mental health services, and advice agencies. Alongside this, you’ll support wellbeing hubs and community events, keep accurate records, manage cases effectively, and use CRM systems to track and report outcomes.

About you

• Experience delivering a range of advice and wellbeing advocacy in outreach, face-to-face settings.
• Extensive experience managing a large and varied caseload.
• Highly organised, able to prioritise effectively.
• Self-motivated, resilient, with a successful track record of engaging and supporting people in vulnerable and complex circumstances.

PATHS (Promoting Alternative Thinking Strategies) is a well‑established, evidence‑based social and emotional learning (SEL) programme. It supports young children to build core life skills including self‑awareness, self‑management, social awareness, healthy relationships and responsible decision‑making.

About the role

As Programme Co‑ordinator, you will lead the local implementation of PATHS, working collaboratively with preschool teams to embed the programme effectively and confidently into daily practice. Your role will be both hands‑on and strategic, and will include:

• Providing coaching and ongoing support to Early Years settings delivering PATHS
• Modelling high‑quality programme delivery in preschool environments

About you
