We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Finance and Operations Manager to oversee our financial operations and ensure the effective management of our resources. This role is central to maintaining our financial health and supporting our strategic goals. You will ensure all financial processes are accurate, compliant, and efficient. You will work closely with our Director to ensure all financial processes are accurate, compliant, and efficient. 

KEY RESPONSIBILTIES INCLUDE: 

Invoicing and Payments 

Cash and Monitoring 

• Update monthly actuals and track variances within the cashflow. 
• Support project teams with maintaining and reporting on budgets in line with funder requirements.
• Contribute to the development of budgets for fundraising proposals.
• Continuously review financial systems to ensure efficiency and best practice

Bookkeeping 

• Carry out weekly and monthly bookkeeping tasks, including journal entries in QuickBooks and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Support the production of quarterly management accounts.
• Prepare ad-hoc financial reports and analysis as required.
• Oversee Gift Aid claims and processes.

Independent Examination, Annual Report and Accounts 

• Prepared and organised all documentation for the Independent Examination, ensuring compliance with statutory and Charity Commission requirements. 

• Supporting the Director in responding to examiner enquiries and year-end processes. 

• Reviewing financial records, reconciled balances, and drafted sections of the Annual Report. 

• Coordinating with internal teams and external advisors and assisting with implementing examiner recommendations.

 Purpose:  The Peer Support Officer role will work within Bipolar UK’s Peer Support Line team to support our community through telephone and email support across the UK.

The role involves using your skills and knowledge to support people affected by bipolar disorder with support requests and providing information and signposting to people via email and telephone. The successful applicant will also manage service reports in Salesforce, report back regularly to the management team, as well as developing links with other mental health services or appropriate agencies.

Though Bipolar UK does not offer Crisis Support, the successful applicant may have to direct members of our community experiencing a crisis to relevant services and will also be responsible for recognising and reporting Safeguarding incidents within the bounds of Bipolar UK’s Safeguarding Policies.

The position requires good personal interaction and the ability to empathise with service users while remaining calm and considered in sometimes difficult situations.  This is a varied and hands on role and we are looking for someone with good communication (verbal and written) along with good organisational skills. Bipolar UK will offer the successful applicant regular support and engagement with the team, as well as reflective practice sessions throughout their service with the charity.

The Peer Support Officer reports to the Services Manager who manages this service. This will be a home-based role with occasional travel, such as team days/meetings/training.

At Endometriosis UK, we are passionate about driving political change for the 1 in 10 women and those assigned female at birth living with endometriosis in the UK. This role will play an instrumental role in supporting the campaigns and policy function within the wider Communications Team.

This will be a busy, varied and important role working closely with the Policy and Campaigns Manager and Head of Campaigns and Communications to provide administration and wider support for the charity’s growing policy and campaigns function. This will include contributing to the production of government consultation responses, writing letters to politicians, producing background briefings ahead of parliamentary meetings and taking responsibility for political monitoring and informing the team of any engagement opportunities. A key part of the role will also be providing administration support for the policy function of the charity and the Head of Communications and Campaigns, including administrative support for the All-Party-Parliamentary Group on Endometriosis which Endometriosis UK provides secretariat support for. Tasks will include writing minutes, helping produce briefing papers, and booking events and meeting rooms.

You will also be the first point of call for our campaign supporters and will be aiding our supporters to take campaign actions through the drafting and creation of e-actions using Engaging Networks. You will be an exciting opportunity to help build our campaigning work and work towards the goals of our new 2025 organisational strategy.

About the organisation

nia has been delivering services to women, girls and children who have been subjected to sexual and domestic violence and abuse, including prostitution, since 1975. The organisation has three main aims: to provide services for women, girls and children who have experienced men’s violence; contributing to ending male violence against women and girls, and to inform and influence policy and public awareness.

East London Rape Crisis provides free, confidential specialist support for women and girls who have been raped or experienced any other form of sexual violence or abuse at any time in their lives, regardless of whether or not they have reported to the police. We offer confidential and independent support.  Services include Advocacy, emotional and practical support, one-to-one counselling and group work.

Hours: 35 hours per week (including up to one evening a week and occasional Saturday mornings)

About the role

In the role of Young Women and Girls ISVA you will hold a caseload of young women and girls aged 11-17 years old, who have been subjected to sexual violence. You will support those whose choose to report through the criminal justice process. In addition, the role involves providing broader support to young women and girls to address the multiple impacts of sexual violence. This post involves travel across East London, and a hybrid model of home and office working.

Practical Action is an international development organisation putting ingenious ideas to work so people in poverty can change their world. For the past eight years, Practical Action has been hosting and building the Global Distributors Collective (GDC): a collective of 300 last mile distribution companies that cumulatively reach millions of the poorest consumers in the world with beneficial products like solar lanterns, water filters and improved cookstoves. Key Responsibilities

Casework

About You

You will be:

• Educated to degree level

We are looking for an Executive Support Manager to provide high-level assistance to the Chief Executive and oversee the smooth running of our governance and leadership operations. In this role, you’ll be responsible for the creation and continuous improvement of our health information at every stage of the user journey. You’ll design content that’s data driven and responsive to user needs. You’ll work across a range of formats and channels to help us maximise our reach and engagement with the blood cancer community.

The Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists (RCSLT) is seeking a Head of Membership to lead and develop the RCSLT’s membership function, ensuring cohesive delivery across membership operations, member support and member journeys.

The RCSLT is the professional body for speech and language therapists across the UK. The RCSLT has over 24,000 members and employs around 65 staff predominately based in a London office. The RCSLT also has offices in Belfast, Edinburgh, and Cardiff.

Reporting to Director of Membership and Communications, the post holder has delegated authority for operational membership decision‑making, acting as the organisational steward of the Member Value Proposition and representing member needs across the organisation. The post holder is to lead and develop the RCSLT’s membership function, ensuring cohesive delivery across membership operations, member support and member journeys.

The role is also responsible for implementing a clear, insight‑informed membership plan that supports retention, value for money and the effective delivery of the organisation’s core membership fee income stream, ensuring high‑quality experiences and strong cross‑organisational alignment.

What we are looking for

We are looking for a strategic and collaborative Head of Membership who can lead and evolve our membership and engagement function. The successful candidate will bring a strong understanding of membership lifecycle management, value proposition development and insight-led decision-making, with the ability to translate data into clear priorities and improved member experiences. They will have proven experience leading teams and managing people in a fast-paced, changing environment and working cross-functionally to achieve organisational goals. Confidence in using and championing CRM systems as a core organisational asset is essential, alongside a solid understanding of data protection and GDPR.

The ideal candidate will be an effective communicator and influencer, able to present recommendations to senior leadership and build strong stakeholder relationships. They will be skilled in driving digital adoption, supporting teams through change and embedding continuous improvement approaches.
