This is an opportunity to lead a passionate, skilled team and shape services that genuinely change lives by supporting the Young Carers in our region.

Our charity, Carers Support, works across Bristol and South Gloucestershire to support unpaid family carers who are supporting their loved ones at home.

We currently have a vacancy in our Young Carers Service Team to support the Chief Executive and Senior Management Team and lead the Young Carers Service. This is a senior role that requires managerial experience, an understanding of the youth sector, safeguarding, and the ability to work with different employed teams and volunteers.

· Be a member of the Senior Management team and actively participate in the overall strategic management and development of the organisation.

· Ensure that the strategic development of the young carer service is co-ordinated and services are delivered in line with funded contract and grant requirements, CSC's development plan and local and national strategies and priorities.

· Be responsible for the support, supervision, management and development of the Operational manager, Schools Development Officer and Engagement worker

· Be the Children and Young People’s Safeguarding lead, working in conjunction with the Adults Safeguarding lead and deputies.

· Ensure young carers voice leads service development internally and externally improving the identification and support for young carers across Bristol and South Gloucestershire.

· Ensure sustainability developing service plans and working with Fundraising manager to raise the funds to sustain services that meet young carers needs.

About the role:

About the Role:

As a Deputy Head of Service for Performance & Quality you will:

• Proactively analyse data from diverse sources, transforming it into powerful & useful insights for our service
• Produce management information, impact analysis, service modelling & customer-focused performance tools
• Monitor service performance & identify risks to support & enable data-driven decision-making & continuous improvement

• Meeting with front-line teams to explore service delivery & performance data
• Delivering insights & actions to stakeholders regarding service effectiveness
• Identifying areas of the service where data science & emerging technologies can be applied to improve efficiency, such as AI
• Collaborating with data professionals across Victim Support's national data function and within MOPAC's Data & Insight function

You will need:

• Experience using either Python or R to bring data together from diverse sources and prepare for analysis using cleaning and preparation techniques
• Extensive practical experience of using innovative platforms for data visualization including R Shiny, Power BI and/or Tableau
• A degree or equivalent professional experience in subjects such as Statistics, Data/ Computer Science, Economics, Public Policy, or the Sciences would be desirable

Midlands Air Ambulance Charity (MAAC) funds and delivers a pre-hospital emergency helicopter-led service across the Midlands region (serving six counties). The Opportunity

As MAAC prepares for the planned departure of its current postholder, the organisation is seeking an exceptional Director of Finance to join the Executive Team. Reporting directly to the Chief Executive, the Finance Director is a key member of the Charity’s Leadership Team, providing strategic financial direction across the Group (the parent charity and its trading subsidiary). This role ensures the organisation remains financially resilient, well‑governed, and strongly positioned to deliver its mission for the long term – through working collaboratively with the Chief Executive, Leadership Team and Board members.

Key Areas of Responsibility

• Play a key role as part of the Senior Leadership Team (SLT), contributing to organisational strategy and fostering strong cross‑department collaboration.  Work collaboratively with the Chief Executive and SLT to develop and maintain the three-year strategic plan, ensuring financial projections, assumptions, and scenario planning are based on accurate data and sound forecasting.
• Provide strategic financial leadership that supports long‑term sustainability, future growth, and the delivery of critical services.
• Build strong, transparent, and trusting relationships with Board members by delivering clear, relevant financial reporting and assurance (supporting Board members to carry out their governance responsibilities effectively).  Manage the Audit and Risk Committee’s activities in conjunction with the Committee Chair
• Lead a high‑quality financial management function for the Charity and its subsidiary, ensuring full compliance with regulatory requirements, governance requirements and accounting standards.
• Manage the full year-end audit cycle, ensuring schedules, reconciliations, and working papers are prepared to a high standard and delivered within agreed timescales.
• Oversee the timely preparation of monthly Group Management Accounts, ensuring high-quality financial reporting is supported by meaningful commentary, variance analysis, trend interpretation, and insights that enable informed strategic decision-making by the SLT and Trustees. 
• Manage the relationship with the Charity’s external investment portfolio fund manager and independent investment advisors - ensuring the Charity receives high-quality professional advice on investment strategy, shareholdings, and cash allocation, and that all recommendations align with organisational objectives, ethical considerations, and risk appetite.

About You

You will be a professionally qualified accountant (ACCA, ACA or equivalent) with substantial senior‑level experience and the credibility to operate confidently at Board level. Most importantly, you will embody strong values, show high emotional intelligence, and be genuinely motivated to contribute to MAAC’s mission. Charity sector experience is essential -  with a thorough understanding of what it takes to promote financial best practice, control spend and assist with income generation in sizable Not-for-Profit environments. Critically, you will lead through expert technical skillsets and collaborative working —shaping direction, offering robust assurance, and operating as a trusted strategic partner to senior colleagues and Trustees/ Directors.

The Accounts Payable Executive will be responsible for providing an efficient and accurate administrative support to the Finance Team within Rainbow Trust. The role is integral to the smooth running of the Finance department, with responsibility for providing a comprehensive and efficient service. The Finance team provides financial control and ensures the effective processing and delivery of management data to inform constructive decision making and future planning by the Senior Leadership Team and Trustees.

Reporting to the Finance Manager, The Accounts Payable Executive will be Responsible for the end-to-end processing of the account payable function and supplier management. As well as supporting the processing of staff expenses and credit cards to meet payroll deadlines and assist with payroll changes on an ad-hoc basis. Maintaining e-mail inboxes efficiently and friendly communication with staff and suppliers is key to this role.

We are looking to appoint a Family Support Worker on a full-time basis (35 hours per week), to deliver a high-quality family support service as part of our Greater Manchester Care Team.

Reporting to the Family Support Manager of the Greater Manchester Care Team and working in partnership with health, education and social care professionals, you will take responsibility for providing needs-led emotional, social and practical support to families where a child/young person has a life threatening or terminal illness.

Having worked in a demanding and emotional environment you have a genuine interest in building supportive relationships and helping people; and having provided bereavement support to families, you understand processes of grief, loss and change - and how best to help others deal with its impact.

· An experienced child health, education or social care professional - applications will be particularly welcome from those who have worked in a community environment and those with a recognised qualification in education, health or social care

Location: This role is based in Luton. Evening / Weekend Support Worker (Substance Misuse)

Job Purpose:

• Responsible for the servicing and stewardship of Butterfly Conservation members to ensure we deliver the best possible member experience.
• Responsible for the processing and administration of donations and membership applications/renewals using our CRM database (Microsoft Dynamics 365) ensuring a high level of customer care and excellent retention of all our supporters to maximise potential income.
• Working with colleagues to ensure our members feel valued.

Specific Tasks:

• Act as a reliable first point of contact for Members, handling queries received by email, post and over the telephone efficiently and politely.
• Responsible for maintaining accurate member data within the database (Microsoft Dynamics 365) including accurate servicing and storage of all membership renewals, new joiners, lapsing/ reengagement and donation processing.
• Ensure all data is held and processed in accordance with BC’s Data Protection Policy and individual communication preferences.
• Responsible for ensuring the timely and smooth running of the membership welcome and renewal communications (email and post), liaising with contractors and keeping all letters and emails up to date and relevant.
• Responsible for the process to contact members who’s payments have end (sometimes referred to as lapsed) aiming to reengage and minimise attrition.

• Build and maintain excellent relationships with relevant branch volunteers, including providing timely responses to queries and requests for additional information. Ensure Branches are kept up to date with all membership recruitment campaigns and changes to subscription rates etc via the quarterly Branch e-newsletter
• Contribute to the creation and distribution of branch emails including welcome and newsletter communications from branches to members.
• Maintain accurate records of total membership numbers (individual and household) through the database. Collate a monthly membership update for the Chief Executive and Director of Fundraising and Comms detailing new and leaving members and working with the Head of Supporter Fundraising to include an explanation of trends and anomalies.
• Assist with the accurate recording of income into the database, following BC processes in areas including cheque and cash handling.
• Work with the Finance Team on monthly reconciliation of income recorded on the CRM with finance software information (ensuring correct allocation of income etc).
• Assist with the preparation of the annual membership audit reconciliation to explain any discrepancies and payment exceptions for all membership categories and income
• Ensure sufficient stock requirements of all membership leaflets, welcome pack contents, membership incentives and any other literature required within allocated budget

Our Hospital Carer Liaison Workers work at both the BRI and Southmead Hospitals supporting carers when the person they care for goes into hospital, making sure the carers voice is heard and their needs are supported, including during discharge planning.
