Finance Officer – Church & Community Transformation (CCT)
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated CCT Finance Officer to provide excellent and responsive financial support to our Church & Community Transformation (CCT) team. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of CCT project financial reporting, monitoring global CCT budgets, and communicating budget versus actual information to key project staff and managers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide proactive and responsive support for budgeting, financial planning, and reporting activities within the CCT team.

About You:
- You hold an undergraduate degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field, or are part-qualified (CCAB or similar professional accountancy qualification).
- You have solid experience in project budgeting, planning, and forecasting, with a proven ability to ensure accurate financial reporting and provide commentary on variances.
- You possess a strong understanding of multi-currency accounting and systems.
- You have first-class communication skills (verbal and written), excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work on your own initiative.
- You are computer literate, experienced in Google Sheets and/or Microsoft Excel, and proficient in producing financial reports.
- Willingness and availability to travel abroad is essential.
- Experience working with and supporting NGO grant partners is desirable, as is a basic ability in French, Spanish, or Portuguese.

CONDITIONS OF APPOINTMENT

The Coln Restoration Group are seeking a part-time Consultant and Adviser to report to the Chairman and Donors of the group. The post extends and builds on the successful work undertaken over the last sixteen months by the Upper Coln Restoration Group.
The aim of the CRG is to restore the Coln river, a major Upper Thames tributary, to the state it was in until it was overwhelmed and degraded in recent years by excessive sewerage storm overflow, sewage storm tank spill events and compromising groundwater abstraction.
The applicant will be responsible for co-ordinating the campaign to restore the Coln river. This includes devising a strategy with the Chairman and the group to maintain pressure on Thames Water to fulfil its significant new investment undertakings and to meet its wider statutory obligations and responsibilities for improving the state of the river.
The role will require engagement with key stakeholders and regulatory bodies including Ofwat and the Environment Agency, or their successors, to ensure support for the implementation of a comprehensive and ongoing restoration plan. An important role requiring the ability to help drive the process on a weekly and monthly basis.
Qualifications sought from the applicant may include the following areas:
· Evidence of multi-agency and/ or corporate team working at a senior level.
· Academic achievement and environmental or farming working knowledge.
· Coordination of water testing and monitoring volunteer network.
· Data sourcing and analysis capabilities.
· Good people skills.

Concern Charity Retail in Northern Ireland:
There are currently eight Concern shops in Northern Ireland. Two of these are bookshops, one in Derry and the second in Holywood Co. Down. One is our newest retail format, our Concern Boutique on the Lisburn Road with an elevated customer experience and product offering. The remaining five are standard charity shops, situated in Ballycastle, Newcastle, Ormeau Road, and the Antrim Road in Belfast.
CONDITIONS OF APPOINTMENT
It is the nature of this post that weekend working (Saturday) and occasional additional seasonal hours are part of the normal working week. Working hours will also involve some evening work to meet the needs of the post.
Full time - 35 hours per week, permanent contract. Flexibility is required.
Appointment will be subject to a six-month probationary period.

As an Independent Domestic Abuse Advocate, the post holder will provide high quality independent advocacy. The job involves ensuring that survivors are provided with a safe, supportive and welcoming environment, enabling them to access their rights, make decisions and increase their life options.
We are looking for someone who is passionate, committed and cares about the work Refuge undertakes. Candidates will be expected to demonstrate an in-depth knowledge of domestic abuse and the impact this has on survivors and their children. They will be able to work under pressure to effectively manage risk and provide needs-led support to clients with a variety of support needs.
