The ICPG is a network of 80+ Jewish UK-based academics. Our members are dedicated to researching and combatting antisemitism in UK higher education and improving the environment for Jewish students, academics, professionals, and other staff. We work with senior leadership and diversity and inclusion teams at UK universities. We champion academic freedom and oppose all academic boycotts of Jews and / or Israeli institutions and faculties.

The ICPG was created in 2024 in response to the sharp rise in antisemitism in UK universities since 7th October 2023. We collaborate broadly with universities and Higher Education institutions, policymakers, lawyers and other stakeholders. Where appropriate, we engage with communal organisations.

We operate across the following areas: (1) Data Collection, (2) Standards and Interventions, (3) Free Speech and Academic Freedom, (4) Universities and College Union, and (5) Stakeholder Engagement. Each area has a "working group", which are at different stages of knowledge production. The overall aim is to provide robust, evidence-based and actionable feedback to universities to assist them in understanding and combatting antisemitism within the higher education sector. We have been in contact with all UK universities, and have provided them with policy recommendations which we have published on our website.

Specifications

ICPG is looking to recruit an Operations Manager with responsibility for operational leadership, strategic planning and implementation and financial management of the organisation. Candidates should have an interest in challenging antisemitism within the university sector, but do not necessarily need to have previous experience in this area.

Salary: £50,000, dependent on experience

Advocacy Project Manager

Join Mind in Tower Hamlets, Newham, and Redbridge as our Advocacy Project Manager to lead our Tower Hamlets Advocacy Service. You’ll oversee a skilled team, build strong partnerships, ensure contract targets are met, and embed co-production and inclusivity in everything you do.

Pathway Manager

This is an exciting opportunity for a Pathway Manager to join a new service in Middlesbrough managing a small team of staff providing support to people who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless.

About the Role

As Pathway Manager, you will be responsible for managing the Middlesbrough Positive Pathways service, supporting around 100 people annually across accommodation and outreach. You will lead a small team of staff and volunteers delivering personalised, psychologically informed support to individuals experiencing homelessness or significant disadvantage.

You’ll oversee the management of 14 self-contained accommodation units, ensure high standards of housing management and compliance, and work closely with stakeholders across Middlesbrough and Teesside to promote pathways out of homelessness.

Key responsibilities include:

· Managing the delivery of RSAP and SHAP accommodation-based support services

· Ensuring robust risk assessments, support planning, and safeguarding procedures

· Line managing Positive Pathways Coordinators, Outreach Workers, and volunteers

Purpose of the job

This role is an exciting opportunity for a proactive and driven individual to join the UK Youth Network Delivery Department. The Summer Jobs Programme is the largest programme in UK Youth’s portfolio. Funded until the end of 2026, the programme is currently operating in its second year. The purpose of this role is to identify and secure employment placements, including those that generate some income, for The Summer Jobs Programme as well as overseeing the employer journey from start to end. Working closely with the Summer Jobs Programme Manager, the Employer Engagement Manager has key input into the work experience aspect of the programme. 

The Summer Jobs Programme is a paid employment initiative running from July to September 2025 and 2026, supporting vulnerable young people in England and Wales. It aims to reduce youth violence and improve future engagement in education, training, and work by removing barriers to employment and offering structured, empowering opportunities. Young people begin with a one-week pre-employment training course, followed by a five-week job placement. Throughout, they’re supported by both a local youth worker and an employer-based supervisor to ensure they receive consistent guidance.

Funded by the Youth Endowment Fund and Youth Futures Foundation, the programme launched in 2024 with over 400 participants and has expanded in 2025. A built-in Randomised Control Trial (RCT) will assess its impact on youth violence and long-term outcomes. In 2026, the programme will grow further, completing a three-year period of delivery and investment aimed at driving long-term, evidence-based change.

We are looking for a new Office Manager to organise and coordinate administration duties and office procedures in the charity. Following the decision of our long serving Charity Manager to move on to pastures new, we are seeking a dynamic individual to take on the role of Interim Charity Manager for an inital period of 6 months with the potential to be extended dependant subject to results and funding. Job Summary

The Advocacy and Campaigns Manager will play a crucial role in shaping and delivering Put Children First, the advocacy and campaigning initiative of Alder Hey Children’s Charity. The post holder will be responsible for influencing decision-makers, engaging stakeholders, and leading impactful campaigns to ensure children’s health and wellbeing are prioritised in public policy.  

This role requires a strategic thinker with strong public affairs expertise, policy understanding, and excellent communication skills. The campaign is child led and will involve working with children to raise their voice. The post holder will also work with politicians, policymakers, clinicians and internal stakeholders, partner organisations, and the public to advocate for change, ensuring that Alder Hey Children’s Charity is a leading voice in children’s health policy and advocacy. This role is one of the first with a charity aligned to an NHS Trust and will appeal to someone with a strong desire to pioneer advocacy and campaigning in a unique setting. 
 

Main Duties/Tasks 

Advocacy & Campaigning Strategy  

• Work with the Head of Marketing & Communications to develop and deliver a proactive and inclusive advocacy and campaigning strategy to drive meaningful policy change that benefits children’s health. 

• Identify and respond to policy developments, advising on how Alder Hey Children’s Charity can influence key decision-makers and stakeholders. 

• Lead campaign planning and execution, ensuring activities engage supporters, stakeholders, and policymakers effectively. 

• Develop and manage partnerships with other charities, organisations, and networks to amplify the impact of the charity’s advocacy work. 

• Work with external agencies where necessary to develop and deliver plans, being the key point of contact.

Public Affairs & Stakeholder Engagement  

• Build strong relationships with MPs, government departments, local authorities, and policymakers at national and regional levels. 

• Represent Alder Hey Children’s Charity and Put Children First in parliamentary briefings, policy roundtables, and stakeholder meetings. 

• Monitor political and policy developments relevant to children's health, providing insightful briefings and recommendations to senior leadership. 

• Support senior leaders and Trustees in their engagement with political and policy stakeholders, ensuring they are well-briefed and strategically positioned. 

• Engage with children and families to ensure their voices are central to the advocacy work, developing plans to engage under represented communities.

Policy Development & Thought Leadership 

• Translate complex policy issues into clear, compelling narratives that drive awareness and action. 

• Work with colleagues to develop policy briefings, reports, and consultation responses, ensuring Alder Hey Children’s Charity is a credible and informed voice in the sector. 

• Work with the Head of Marketing & Communications to position the charity as a thought leader on children’s health policy, ensuring its voice is heard in key debates and discussions. 

• Identify opportunities to influence policy discussions through submissions, evidence-gathering, and research collaborations. 

Media & Communications 

• Collaborate with the Marketing & Communications team to develop compelling messaging that supports advocacy goals. 

• Work with the charity’s Communications Advisory agency to secure media coverage on key issues, providing expert commentary and ensuring children’s health remains a priority in public debate. 

• Develop engaging and inclusive content for Put Children First, including press releases, blogs, social media, film and supporter communications. 

• Work with campaigners and families to amplify lived experiences in advocacy efforts, ensuring their voices are central to campaigns. 

Internal Collaboration & Leadership 

• Work closely with the fundraising teams, grants team, marketing and communications and the Trust’s Communications team to ensure advocacy work aligns with broader charity and Trust objectives. 

• Provide advice and guidance to colleagues on policy and public affairs matters, in consultation with the Head of Marketing and Communications where required. 

• Support the development of staff and volunteers as advocates for the charity’s policy positions. 

• Ensure all campaign activities align with Alder Hey Children’s Charity’s values and meet ethical and legal standards. 

• Any other reasonable duties as required by your line manager.

Salary: Grade 3 - £31,133 per annum

About the role

Your focus will be to deliver high quality housing advice and advocacy in line with the hub’s local community priorities, working alongside people who are experiencing homelessness and bad housing to identify issues facing local communities.  You will plan and deliver casework to individuals and communities to resolve their housing situation and engage with community groups, local organisations and individuals to understand local housing issues and raise awareness of people’s housing rights.

You will also work in local community settings and with community groups to deliver advice and rights awareness workshops and make sure that people with lived experience of homelessness have opportunities to share their story, give their opinions and participate in the design and delivery of Shelter services. Offering day to day support to volunteers, providing learning, shadowing and mentoring and being a consistent role model for our values are also key aspects of the role.

About you

You are able to listen to, engage and work with individuals and communities and with all stakeholders, including people with lived experience of homelessness. You will have experience, knowledge of and/or proven ability in housing and homelessness advice and advocacy and are able to progress to specialist level knowledge, as well as the ability to carry out casework related interviews, maintain detailed case records, advise and support clients to make informed decisions. A proven record of delivering group workshops and presentations is essential, as is a collaborative, flexible and professional approach to your work.

Shelter Sheffield has 70 staff plus volunteers and has been providing housing advice and support services within the area for over 20 years, specialising in emergency homelessness work, intensive support to children and families, people experiencing domestic abuse and people experiencing multiple disadvantage. We provide front line support to over 5,000 people a year in the city and work to improve the underlying systems that prevent people from living securely in suitable, safe, affordable accommodation.

We are seeking an individual to manage the smooth running of all the charity’s services and operations, including data processing requirements and marketing. This role will play a crucial role in guiding the organisation as we look to consolidate and strengthen the structure to increase the long term sustainability of the charity 

We are looking for a highly organised and self-motivated candidate, bringing relevant experience to the role including experience with people, properties, project and database management, to help make a real difference in the lives of tenants and their families by providing high quality assisted living accommodation for adults with a learning disability. 

The four key areas of responsilbity include:

• Providing comprehensive property management: Liason with care providers in order to understand maintenance and imrpovement needs.

• Offering a high standard of support to our residents: In conjunction with the directors, looking for opportunities to improve tenant experience and wellbeing. 

• The support of robust financial accounting: Providing simple data entry where required.

• The delivery of high quality external communication and wider charity marketing: Supporting the volunteer team in maintaining the website, contronbuting to email communications and updating social media.
