Clerk and Head of Operations
Are you a caring and compassionate individual who is also administratively gifted and highly organised?
Do you enjoy working with people at the same time as working to ensure there is good order and that important projects are seen through?
Would you be excited to help take a 340-year-old organisation forward into its next chapter, caring for a community of residents and a beautiful grade II* listed building?
Might you be the next Clerk and Head of Operations of the Sir William Powell Almshouses we are looking for?
All of the information you should need can be found by accessing the Job Pack. If you would like an informal conversation about the post, the Chair of Trustees, the Rev’d Peter Dobson, would be delighted to speak to you, an appointment can be made by emailing the Chair of Trustees.
The Sir William Powell Almshouses, founded in 1680, and moving to their present location in 1868, have, for all these years, provided affordable accommodation and a residential community for twelve women. The appointed candidate would have care not only for our residents and building, but also, alongside a committed Board of Trustees, the governance and financial well-being of the charity.
The new Clerk and Head of Operations will arrive at an exciting time when new opportunities are being explored as to how we realise the full potential of our assets and what this might mean for the future of the almshouses.
Completed applications, including the details of two referees, should be emailed to the Chair of Trustees by 12noon on the closing date, Tuesday 25th August. Interviews will take place in person in Fulham on Wednesday 2nd September.
The client requests no contact from agencies or media sales.
