The role involves designing, leading, and facilitating various activities and sessions aimed at improving physical and mental wellbeing, and improving community connection amongst older people. The Supporter Donations Queries Team at Macmillan are looking for x2 Supporter Donations Assistants to play their part in helping Macmillan's supporters and stakeholders do whatever it takes for people living with cancer. We have two roles available within our Supporter Donations Queries Team. The Role
Reporting to the Compliance Lead, the Compliance Officer will drive the development of an improved Compliance culture throughout the charity whilst ensuring that we adhere to all relevant regulations and laws.
Key responsibilities will include:
· Acting as a knowledge expert on compliance and promoting a culture of compliance within the charity in relation to data protection, fundraising and the provision of support services, by the provision of advice, guidance, internal communications and training.
· Assist in the development of new training materials and communications relating to Data Protection and Compliance including overseeing the relevant intranet pages.
· Help to review existing processes and policies and assist in the updating/development of these, along with tracking changes in the external environment that may have an impact on these policies and procedures.

· Project managing a number of key actions from an external review of the organisation’s Data Protection practices.

Training Ground uses the power of the club badge to engage with young people whom universal support cannot reach. As part of the exciting implementation of our new strategy, we are seeking a caseworker to join our professional advice service. This role is based within the Community Support area of our Organising and Influencing team, which will play a crucial in ensuring that students can access advice and support with the challenging issues they might face, while also helping us to ensure that our social policy and campaign work is focused on tackling these issues head on.
Our advice function provides a high standard of independent, impartial, non-judgmental and non-directive advice, support and representation to Leeds Beckett University students on a wide range of issues. Our focus is on casework related to academic regulations and procedures, but we can also answer questions relating to housing and finance.
We have a diverse student population at Leeds Beckett, with a growing number of international students and a broad range of cultural backgrounds that exist in the University. An ability to understand, relate, and sympathise with issues that may present in different ways is an important attribute for this role.
The successful applicant will be expected to manage their own casework as well as supporting other members of the team, including helping to triage queries that come through to the service.

About the role
We are looking for individuals who are based in/near Southampton who can commute to different venues in their local area, set up an attractive fundraising stand, and spend the day actively engaging with members of the public, spreading awareness about our conservation efforts and generating new RSPB memberships via direct debits.
Don't worry if you're not a wildlife expert yet – we provide comprehensive training to equip you with all the knowledge you need. Plus, you'll enjoy the added perk of a company van, with fuel and parking costs paid for.
