We are looking for an organised and creative individual to join our service supporting Unpaid Carers in Lewisham to improve their health and wellbeing, and access support that meets their needs.
The team works with unpaid Adult Carers, Young Adult Carers and Young Carers and you will carry out home visits and community meetings, complete assessments, co-produce support plans, and develop effective relationships with Unpaid Carers, families, and professionals. You’ll build on your local knowledge to signpost and facilitate access to support services, including financial and benefit advice, housing, health and safety home systems, and leisure and social activities.
To facilitate group work, you will plan and deliver a programme of events, groups, activities, training and workshops. You’ll need to research and book trainers, venues, activities and resources, negotiate value for money, promote the calendar of events and manage bookings. The sessions will offer opportunities for Unpaid Carers to meet with peers, develop confidence, learn new skills, reduce social isolation, and improve their own wellbeing.
Applicants should have relevant personal or professional experience of working with Unpaid Carers and/or vulnerable adults or children in a social care, health, education or voluntary and community sector, as well as experience of planning and delivering a programme of group work.
You’ll need a practical understanding of barriers faced by Unpaid Carers, and an awareness of cultural differences and access to services. You should be an excellent communicator and able to motivate and empower others.
This is a full-time role. Driver and own car essential.

Young Lives vs Cancer (YLvC) help families to find the strength to face everything cancer throws at them.
Citizens Advice Hammersmith and Fulham working in partnership with the national charity YLvC delivers a pioneering project via multi channels (telephone/email/web) providing advice to families of young people affected by cancer.
The project is expanding and we are recruiting a Welfare Rights Benefits Adviser and a Housing Adviser.
The project requires dynamic advisers who can sensitively, engage with families in an often difficult time. Reassure them in terms of options and steps they can take to address the welfare rights/housing issues they are experiencing. Knowing they have options to consider gives them reassurance in a time of uncertainty.
Working with the YLvC team who are located across the UK, advice provided by the project Advisers will also support YLvC social workers, to better help the families and young people accessing the charity support.

Using a gender and trauma-informed approach, the Outreach & Engagement Worker will deliver 2-4 daytime outreach sessions per week in Manchester alongside partners, colleagues and volunteers. They will also attend the Street Engagement Hub weekly to provide specialist support to women attending this multi-agency hub. Whilst the nature of sex work, the context in which we operate and the support we provide has changed dramatically over the last thirty years, one thing has remained constant: MASH continues to be a haven for some of the most marginalised women in Greater Manchester – women who fall through the gaps, are under served by mainstream services and face stigma, discrimination and multiple barriers to accessing the support they need. 5.Maintain a database of supporter, donors, and potential funders, maintaining accurate records that are kept up to date and information handled in accordance with the Data Protection Act and GDPR regulations.
6.Ensure donor effective stewardship journeys are followed.
7.Maintain online fundraising platforms, social media feeds and associated communications tools alongside the Marketing Officer.
8.Lead, motivate and support the marketing team: Marketing Officer, Fundraising Coordinator, and Social Media Apprentice.
9.Oversee website content management ensuring, blogs, stories, and events are relevant and in line with our marketing and fundraising strategy.
10.Work alongside other departments such as the Community, Recruitment, and Finance Team to ensure the organisation runs smoothly.
11.Collect feedback from people we support, families and staff to ensure the continued development of the marketing and fundraising strategy.
12.Look for opportunities to increase our network of contacts, stakeholders, and volunteers.
13.Support the Leadership Team in improving internal communication and brand alignment of all staff and people associated with Options.
14.Working alongside the leadership team to ensure that one-off projects are completed on time and accurately.
15.Remain up to date with current marketing trends to influence and remain relevant in a widely competitive third-sector market.
16.Prepare reports for the leadership team and Options trustees on project targets and outcomes.
17.Attend relevant meetings and work within Options, values and beliefs, policies, and procedures.
18.Represent Options at events as required.
Experience
1.Experience of professional fundraising, or similar experience in a marketing, sales, or business development environment.
2.Track record of setting and achieving income targets.
3.Experience of managing people.
Qualifications
It is desirable to have a relevant professional qualification – Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) or Chartered Institute of Fundraising (IoF) - or working towards.

Pension
5% Subject to eligibility, we will automatically enrol you into our nominated pension scheme after you have worked for us for three months. You can opt-out if you do not wish to be in Scheme.
