About the Role:

The Trust Fundraising Intern will work in collaboration with the Senior Trust and Foundations Manager to be responsible for securing critical funding that sustains our life-changing programs worldwide. As part of your internship, you’ll have the chance to contribute meaningfully to fundraising efforts, gaining hands-on experience in trust fundraising and developing skills that will help you kick-start your career in the charity sector.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Portfolio Support

• Assist in managing a portfolio of trust and foundation supporters, focusing on smaller funders to build relationships and secure gifts.
• Support the Senior Trusts and Foundations Manager in maintaining accurate and up-to-date donor records on the CRM database.
• Help with stewardship activities, including preparing thank-you communications, reports, and updates to funders.

2. Research and Prospect Development

• Conduct research into new funding prospects and support the development of bespoke, compelling proposals tailored to potential donors.
• Track emerging trends in trust and foundation fundraising to identify growth opportunities.

3. Proposal and Report Writing

• Assist in drafting high-quality communications such as funding proposals, applications and impact reports that reflect our projects and inspire support.
• Collaborate with colleagues to gather relevant information for use in proposals and stewardship materials.

4. Administrative Support

• Support the team’s transition to a new CRM system, ensuring trust and foundation data is accurately maintained.
• Help manage the team’s administrative processes, including monitoring deadlines for applications and reporting.

Work Location/Hybrid Working Pattern:

This role will be based at our Head Office in central London. Mothers’ Union operates a hybrid working model. Staff are required to work an aggregate minimum of 90 days per calendar year (pro rata for part timers) at our Head Office, Mary Sumner House in central London. Tuesdays are our anchor days where every staff member is expected to be at the office. The 90 days includes anchor Tuesdays. In addition, Thursday is a core working day where part time staff are expected to work, either at home or from the office as needed.

As 2nd Line Analyst, you will act as a key face of the Digital, Data and Technology (DDaT) team, delivering proactive technical support to our users, primarily in person at our UK offices. • Manage IT assets and maintain accurate hardware/software inventory documentation, supporting audits and lifecycle management.

• Help promote user awareness and understanding of DDaT services, supporting training and documentation alongside the IT Trainer. 

About You 

To be successful, it is important that you have: 

• Significant experience providing 1st and/or 2nd line technical support in an ITIL environment. 

• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills across hardware, operating systems (Windows/macOS), and enterprise applications. 

• Working knowledge of tools such as SCCM, Intune, and Microsoft 365, and familiarity with networking fundamentals (IP/DNS/DHCP/VPN).

Working Arrangements

Interview Process

Our interview process involves two stages:

This is an exciting opportunity to invest in the lives of autistic young people (aged 9-19). You will work in our Aspire Team to further develop specialist youth work provision in Cambridge City and South Cambridgeshire, supporting young people’s emotional well-being and helping them to overcome challenge and develop social skills. You will join our team of youth workers and volunteers to develop and deliver weekly social groups, shared interest groups, one-to-one work, family support, school-based alternative education, and trips and residential experiences. The normal working week will be 37.5 hours (5 days), there is a need for flexibility. The role requires regular evening work. Part-time hours will be considered, minimum 22.5 hours (3 days).

Duties include:

• Build positive relationships with autistic children and young people through different programme activities.

OVERVIEW

This role will be a key member of our ambitious team, delivering a growing portfolio of fundraising campaigns, fundraising events, and supporter engagement initiatives. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Fundraising Campaigns & Income Generation

• Work with the Head of Fundraising to plan and deliver our 12-month supporter journey – including fundraising campaigns (online and offline), events and appeals.
• Manage our calendar of challenge events (e.g. The Don’s Cycle Challenge, Wombles Walk, Sponsored Skydive).
• Grow supporter-led community fundraising in the local area.
• Lead outreach to engage new local partners – including small businesses, schools and clubs – promoting fundraising opportunities and supporting their initiatives.

Communications & Marketing

• Alongside the Head of Fundraising, lead all communications for the charity.
• Create engaging fundraising content for email, website, and social media to drive online donations, event and programme sign-ups.
• Work with the wider Foundation team and club comms team to create content for social media, e-newsletters and our website.
• Promote Foundation programmes and campaigns to fans, families, and local supporters, driving participation and donations.
• Create marketing materials (posters, flyers, etc.) to support charitable prorammes and campaigns.

Supporter Care

Events & Community Activation

• Maintain accurate supporter and income records in our CRM system, ensuring compliance with GDPR and data protection laws.

PERSON SPECIFICATION

Essential

Qualifications & Experience

• Hold a relevant higher education or industry recognised certification or have a minimum of at least 1–2 years' experience in a fundraising, communications, supporter engagement or similar role
• Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with supporters, partners, or donors

You will support the development and delivery of our schools, youth centre and detached programmes. This will consist of one to ones and group work with young people within schools, detached work in designated areas as well as centre-based provision. About The Role

Do you want to be part of empowering individuals to find their own solution to their housing crisis? This may be the job for you!

We have two roles available, one in Cirencester and one in Witney. 

You will provide a comprehensive homelessness service to customers with a range of housing related issues on behalf of Publica and involved with assisting in the day to day running of Publica’s Homeless Hostel’s.

Creating individual housing plans for every applicant which fully reflects their needs and circumstances, whilst managing and resolving caseloads for those currently experiencing a housing crisis. Sourcing appropriate short term and long term accommodation to assist the council in discharging its duties, whilst maintaining accurate records both written and electronically and ensuring they are captured and recorded accurately.

You will be required to represent the section/department at meetings/working parties/case conferences as appropriate and maintain a thorough knowledge of Housing and related legislation, including the Housing Acts, case law, the Homelessness Reduction code of guidance and good practice in the implementation thereof.

The successful candidate will be analytical and confident in interpreting housing legislation, with strong decision making skills essential for delivering effective homelessness prevention and relief services. 

You will be someone who values structure, confidentiality, and professionalism as much as they do empathy and support. You will be expected to handle sensitive personal information with the utmost discretion, in line with GDPR and safeguarding protocols. Maintaining client confidentiality is non-negotiable in this role. 

This role requires a strong understanding of professional boundaries and the ability to maintain them — even in emotionally complex situations. This is a rewarding but demanding role — ideal for someone who thrives on helping others in crisis, but who understands the importance of clear boundaries, resilience, and confidentiality. 

You will need resilience and adaptability as you will often work with people experiencing stress, crisis, or confrontation, so it is essential you can manage these situations calmly and confidently. Being emotionally resilient and understand how to support others without becoming personally involved or emotionally entangled.

Teamwork is essential for this role to work effectively with colleagues and external agencies.

Please note you will need to be in the Witney/Cirencester offices 2 – 3 days a week and have the ability to travel within the district as required.

This role will play a key part in delivering the Growth Strategy; you will proactively identify and research new income opportunities that support the diversification of Family Fund Group’s income streams, helping more families raising a disabled or seriously ill child access the support they need.

The role

We are looking for a Group Business Development Officer to work closely with the Group Director of Fundraising and Volunteering to look for new income opportunities.  This role is offered on a secondment basis and is a great opportunity to develop your research, analytical, negotiation and influencing skills.  This tole plays a key part in delivering the Growth Strategy and supporting the diversification of the Group’s income streams.

Main duties include:

• Research databases, e.g. charity commission organisation lists, Local Government tenders, etc to identify opportunities for the Group to consider.  This might include opportunities that the Group could deliver but currently don’t, or opportunities to partner with other organisations where the Group cannot deliver all the requirements.
• Seek out tender opportunities within relevant business sectors not identified by the existing Group horizon scanning processes.
• Target identified organisations/funders and initiate contact via Family Fund Directors, or where appropriate personally, to generate new opportunities across public, private and not for profit sectors.
• Prepare and deliver sales presentations, as and when required, understanding the need to adapt style for the target audience.

About you  

To be successful in this role you will be a self-starter, able to work independently and be results driven.  Ideally you will have experience of presenting and selling to potential clients and funders but must have previously worked in a customer facing role.  You will have strong research and analytical skills and the tenacity to follow leads to generate and develop opportunities to grow income.

About the role

In this rewarding role, you will manage a portfolio of third party running, hiking and cycling events with the objective of raising over £1 million for people living with cancer. 

You will be responsible for recruitment through paid and organic marketing and providing a sector-leading stewardship journey to ensure our supporters feel engaged and inspired from the moment they sign-up. You will also be responsible for multiple aspects of event delivery and have the opportunity to collaborate with teams across the organisation.

You'll be line managing a Challenge Events Assistant who will play an important role in supporting your events programme, so strong relationship- building and nurturing skills will be key to help them develop and feel supported 

This role includes weekend work, primarily attending events to support participants in person, therefore attending events is an essential part of this role. Time off in lieu will be provided for weekend commitments.
