NRPF Partnership

The NRPF partnership was set up in 2023 and is being developed by Citizens UK, Migration Exchange, and Praxis. We are working to build the necessary infrastructure for collaboration across a range of organisations, amplify their work, and build power to win change against the No Recourse to Public Funds (NRPF) condition. Each partner contributes staff capacity and will work closely with the appointed person to ensure a positive, professional and supportive culture. The Partnership centres around: 

1)  Placing decision-making power and strategic vision in the hands of people doing the work

This Senior Project role will be a core part of the support to the steering group of the partnership to make sure it runs effectively and achieves its potential.

About the role

This is an exciting senior role for an environmentally committed leader to cover maternity leave. We are looking for someone who can take strategic oversight of our Green Space for Health programme and provide effective management of the project and its staff.

Our Green Space for Health programme helps to realise the value of green space for physical and mental health, both at healthcare sites and in the wider community. Our flagship project, the NHS Forest, promotes tree planting and woodland creation at NHS sites, supporting and encouraging sites to plant and maintain trees through offering free trees and advice. We support NHS sites to develop their greenspace for the benefits of patients, health staff and communities, while improving biodiversity and combatting climate change. We do this by encouraging green space enhancements such as meadow areas, vegetable growing, orchards and therapeutic gardens, as well as supporting the delivery of nature-based interventions for health.

The Green Space for Health Director will oversee the development of the NHS Forest and other Green Space for Health projects, delivering the programme strategy. This will include managing the Green Space for Health team, overseeing the delivery of our funded projects including budget management, coordinating reports to funders and trustees, and taking a strategic lead on the development and funding of the Green Space for Health programme in consultation with other stakeholders. The Green Space for Health Director will deliver our programme strategy through fulfilling the following responsibilities:

• Provide line management for the Green Space for Health Team’s 5 staff members. This will include one-to-one meetings, appraisals and regular team meetings.

As Content Marketing Manager you will be responsible for content generation and dissemination across multiple platforms, digital and traditional.  You will be well organised and courageous and passionate about being a game changer to drive business growth. 

This role generates vital insights to the Create Equity Collectives  (Includes Create Equity Ltd, Create Equity 2031 and MeWe360).

Job Descritption 

1. Content generation to be distributed across multiple platforms and networks.

2. Develop content to promote the  mission in conjunction with the wider team.

3. Preparing presentations, and proofreading manuscripts. 

4. Act as the internal communications and marketing champion looking for opportunities for promotion, knowledge sharing and embedding our mission across our community and succeed in increasing participation by creating growth opportunities through our partners, funders and our community.

5. Contribute to the multi platform transformation of communications to reach their goals. 

6. Ensure your work aligns with strategic goals working collaboratively with the senior managers for all activity and reporting. A key element in this role is adhering to procedures, principles and protocols

7. Implement a framework for collecting, storing, updating and reporting data and insights. 

8. Assist in the research process by collecting and storing analytical data. 

9. Ensure the views of underrepresented people with experience guide your work and actively seek opportunities to involve our community in content and product development 

10. Provide flexibility and undertake other duties that may from time to time be necessary, and that are compatible with the nature and grade of this post

About you

This role is based with our Wales & Southwest team, and we are looking for someone with particular experience and developed networks across this region. Our successful Enterprise Manager may previously have worked in roles such as Partnerships Manager, Development Manager, Fundraising Manager, Partnerships & Fundraising Manager, and will ideally have good knowledge and confidence in identifying and successfully bidding for project funding via government departments, regional agencies, statutory funders, and charitable trusts. Prior experience of statutory funded active travel schemes is desirable.

Technical:

• A proven track record of developing and writing successful funding bids.
• Knowledge of funding environments, including lottery distributors, key statutory funders, trusts and foundations, charitable trusts.
• Experience of strategic relationship, partnership development and management.
• Innovation and creativity, to develop projects from concept to delivery and to match trust priorities with funding.
• Budget and project management experience with the ability to manage financial risk.
• Experience of financial reporting

General:

• Ability to influence, persuade and negotiation skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills – strong presenter.
• Ability to work well under pressure and to tight deadlines.
• A collaborative team player.

Valid driving licence as your work will require you to reach locations not easily reached by public transport. Access to a vehicle is essential.
