River Action has just released data about the state of the British dairy industry in the national press. Please provide a one page campaign plan for how you would use that data and initial story to target the responsible polluters and government regulators, mobilise the public and campaign for urgent changes in industry practices and regulation. Consider how you would generate media headlines about the pollution problems and potential solutions while raising the profile of River Action, promoting positive opportunities that put farmers in a positive light and offering support to help them change their practices while targeting the root causes of the systemic problem caused by lack of regulation, lack of incentive and pressures from supply chains such as supermarkets. This should include your idea, target audience, how you would measure success, and a high level project plan. You do not have to include costs but your proposal should be appropriate for an overall budget of £20,000. Should you be successful in being invited to interview, you may be asked to present this idea.

Do you have proven experience of the assessment, design and project cycle management for multi-sector programmes in large, complex settings, plus a track record of acquiring successful institutional funding from bilateral and multilateral donors? Then my client, World Vision UK could have the ideal opportunity for you.
About my client
World Vision UK (WVUK) is an international children’s charity working with children, their communities, and with supporters and partners, in almost 100 countries. About the role
A key member of WVUK’s Humanitarian & International Programmes (HIP) management team, you’ll lead the unit that’s responsible for acquiring around £35m of institutional donor funding (grants & contracts) each year, as well as corporate and philanthropic proposal development on behalf of the Strategic Partnership Directorate. A great deal has been done to prepare the organisation for such an important time and so now there is a real opportunity for this role to lead in being a figurehead for the charity and representing all that is achieved at GFS in national events and discussions, to best represent the girls of today.
Our new strategy is built around pillars of Impact, Brand and Sustainability with an ambition to grow in delivery as well as reputation. GFS is aware that the work done to listen to and amplify girls’ voices is important because they have so much to say about what needs to change and from a very young age. This role will be key to making this happen.
Equity, Diversity and inclusion is of strategic importance to GFS. We encourage applications from ethnically and racially minoritised, disabled and from LGBTQ+ people to build our best staff and volunteer teams and reflect the girls we serve.
