South East London Mind is working in partnership with South London & Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust (SLaM) to deliver integrated support within the Trust’s Community Mental Health Teams. You will be part of a brand new integrated sub-team working specifically with service users who struggle to engage with mental health services, resulting in them experiencing multiple and long psychiatric admissions.

We are looking for a Mental Health Advisor who is compassionate, proactive and can work flexibly to offer safe, problem-solving engagement and support. Alongside working with service users, you will contribute to the evaluation, supporting with collecting outcomes data and shaping the service.

As part of an effective Information Advice and Guidance (IAG) team, you will have the caseload management experience and skills to deliver focused, person-centred, individual support and IAG on a wide range of social issues including housing, employment, developing independence, self-management skills and recovery goals. You will liaise appropriately with specialists and professionals.

Successful applicants will be expected to undergo an Enhanced Level Disclosure and Barring Service check.
