Head of Community and Sporting Events (Mat Cover)

Are you ready to take on an exciting leadership role that champions supporter relationships and income growth? We're seeking an ambitious and dynamic individual with the charisma and expertise to lead our Community + Sporting Events. You will drive our mass fundraising portfolios, devising strategies that set us apart in a competitive landscape.

Asthma + Lung UK is the only charity in the UK fighting for everyone with a lung condition, aiming for a world where everyone can breathe with healthy lungs. We fund cutting-edge research, provide advice and support for the 12 million people who will get a lung condition during their lifetime. We also campaign for clean air and for better NHS diagnosis and treatment.

Your remit is to lead, develop and deliver the Community and Sporting + Events strategies, translating this into robust annual delivery plans, budgets and KPIs with a goal of maximising net income and sustaining long-term supporter relationships for maximum lifetime value. You will also manage, motivate and inspire the team to ensure they are delivering value for the organisation. Critically you will understand the importance of delivering an excellent supporter experience to drive supporter engagement and long-term income growth.
