To assist us in this endeavour, we are looking for an experienced full-time Welfare and Benefits Information Lead.  You will assist clients in claiming welfare benefits, grants, and any financial aid that may be available to them. This includes informing them of any financial help available, supporting them with applications and following up on claim as necessary.  Where anyone has been given an end of life diagnosis you will be required to start the application on their behalf. Development and Volunteer Coordinator Lead

Job Type: Fixed Term Contract (Initial 12 month Contract until March 2025 with the possibility of extension)

The Role

This is a new and exciting role based in Lewisham for a Development and Volunteer coordinator lead. The role entails managing a team of volunteers and Peer mentors to deliver a service to Lewisham residents who are experiencing Drug and/or alcohol use and support Peer mentors to distribute Naloxone to the local community.

They are looking for an innovative and creative person to develop and implement a buddying system and a telephone helpline which will be staffed by a team of volunteers.

They are based in Forest Hill SE23 which is 20 mins from London Bridge mainline station. The contract is for one year (with the possibility of an extension) and they welcome applicants who have lived experience of drugs, alcohol, homelessness or mental health challenges. The role is for 37 hours per week but they are willing to consider part time applicants or a job share.

Skills and Qualifications

· Experienced working in a lead or supervisory role would be beneficial.

· Experience working with IT packages such as Microsoft word and excel.

· Be able to undertake basic administrative tasks.

· Great communication skills are essential.

· Be able to have an empathetic approach when dealing with service users.

About the role

We have an exciting opportunity for an Advocate to join our team covering Lincolnshire. Your role will require you to travel to locations such as hospitals and care homes across the area to meet with clients and professionals and be home based for administration; therefore, access to your own transportation and a suitable home internet connection is essential.

Prospectus is delighted to be partnering with The Natural History Museum in the recruitment of their new Marketing Manager. This role is offered on a permanent full-time basis and operates a flexible hybrid working model.The Natural History Museum is a world-class visitor attraction and leading science research centre, caring for more than 80 million objects spanning billions of years and welcome more than five million visitors annually and 16 million visits to our website.   

The Marketing Manager will be responsible for creating and delivering the marketing campaigns for the Museum’s exhibitions and events to achieve visitor and income targets, particularly the annual Wildlife Photographer of the Year exhibition. Furthermore, you will manage and motivate the Marketing Executive to develop and implement specific marketing activity for a range of Museum self-generated income businesses and activities including commercial events, licencing, and publishing, delivering to target, budget and schedule.

Additionally, you will lead on paid search marketing for the Museum. This includes, setting the plan, supporting the wider team in delivery, analysing, and reporting on overall results, supporting the team to improve knowledge, and understanding of paid search and driving constant improvements in return on investment.  

The Marketing Manager will work collaboratively with colleagues across the Museum including Commercial & Visitor Experience, Marketing, Digital Content, Media and PR and Membership to ensure a joined-up campaign approach. Ultimately, in this role you will combine hands-on delivery of campaigns with data-informed planning, stakeholder engagement and budget management.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a proven track record of creating and delivering innovative marketing campaigns from ideas generation, content creation, media planning, bought and owned media delivery. Waterloo Community Counselling (WCC) offers life-changing accessible and affordable counselling in the heart of London and is a small charity that has a big impact! We are one of only a handful of Low-Cost Counselling services offering weekly therapy at reduced fees, or for free. We reach adults from diverse backgrounds and our unique Multi-Ethnic Counselling Service (MECS) provides free mother-tongue counselling to migrants, refugees and asylum seekers who have survived exile, torture, human trafficking and modern slavery in 30 languages.

WCC has gone through a period of transformation and operational improvements over the past 2 years which has increased the charity’s financial and organisational resilience. We are now looking for a Finance Manager who will join a well-developed team and be responsible for embedding the progress made and identifying further areas for improvement.

About the role of Finance Manager

The Finance Manager is a core member of WCC's management team and is a key advisor and partner to the CEO on all areas of finance.  The post-holder will have responsibility for timely and efficient management of the day-to-day accounting function and all internal and external financial reporting.  Reporting directly to the CEO this role is part of a friendly, highly productive and collaborative, dedicated clinical and operational staff team of ten.

It is a varied and senior position that is part time, 3 days per week, and we are happy to discuss how the hours are worked over the week. It’s hybrid, working a minimum of one day per week in our Waterloo office. The salary is £45,000 to £48,000 pro rata, depending on experience.
