Fundraising Officer

London, Greater London (Hybrid)
£30,000 - £33,000 per year
Full-time
Permanent
Job description

We pride ourselves on being a values-driven organisation, and we’re looking for a likeminded fundraiser to join the team. Blending storytelling with statistics, events management with stakeholder engagement, and research with data protection, this varied role would be ideal for someone with an interest in criminal justice who communicates as well in person as they do on paper.

Ideally, you will bring at least one year of fundraising experience, however, this is not a limiting factor. We would consider your interest and passion for working in the criminal justice sector a key ingredient to make the role a success. If you have a talent for writing creatively and demonstrating our impact, this is something we are keenly interested in.

In our new strategy, we will have a focus on the development of other funding streams, diversifying our income to give a strong foundation on which to build future plans and ambitions. We have a strong base of funders and individual donors from which to work, and this role is intended to solidify existing, and develop new, relationships.

Research tells us that marginalised groups of people may not apply for jobs unless they meet 100% of the criteria. We also know that fundraisers come from many backgrounds with different experiences that might not seem “standard” – and that’s okay! We value people who bring unique perspectives and knowledge to our team.
