We're excited to partner with one of London's leading universities to seek a temporary Study Abroad and Partnership Officer. In this full-time role (35 hours per week), you'll provide crucial administrative support during a busy period. Initially, the position will run for 2 months with potential for extension.
In this post you will have the opportunity of hybrid working, with a minimum of three days onsite and the rest remote, some flexibility might be required with this, dependant on the requirements at the time. You'll need your own equipment (Laptop/PC) for remote work or can also work onsite full time if that is your preference.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting students during their Study Period Abroad (SPA) and serving as their primary contact while they're abroad.
- Collaborating with academic advisors and directors to manage SPA applications.
- Maintaining updated student records and organising events for both inbound and outbound students.
- Updating study abroad information across various platforms and gathering student feedback to improve their experience.
- Coordinating visits from partner institutions and assisting with collaborative provision opportunities.
To be considered, you should have experience in a similar fast-paced administrative role, preferably in a student-facing capacity. Strong written communication skills and attention to detail are essential. Familiarity with the SITS system and previous experience in study abroad or partnership work would be advantageous, although similar systems and transferable experience will be considered.
This position is available immediately, so candidates should be available at short notice or immediately to be considered.

Job Purpose: The project aims to deliver a range of trauma-informed learning and development opportunities to women impacted by the criminal justice system. Delivered in our Manchester and Trafford women’s centres, these gender responsive activities, co-produced with women with lived experience, will provide personal and practical skill development that meets their needs and supports their aspirations around employment or education, including a focus on wellbeing and practical learning.
Key Responsibility Areas
- Co-ordinate and deliver a schedule of trauma informed and gender responsive workshops that aim to address wellbeing and reduce barriers women impacted by the CJS face in accessing employment or education opportunities.
- Maintain case management systems to ensure accurate and timely data recording.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key partners and stakeholders, such as lived experience groups, education, training and employment networks and local services.
- Create opportunities for women impacted by the criminal justice system to input into the programme, such as co-production, and peer supporters

About the Service
Solace Women’s Aid provides a wide range of services to victim/survivors of domestic and sexual abuse in Bexley including an advocacy and support service and specialist services co-located in a number of services. Solace works in partnership with the police to ensure that victim/survivors of domestic abuse are able to access the necessary support. As part of this partnership Solace are recruiting for an IDVA to be co-located in Lewisham Police Station, covering crisis intervention, risk assessment, safety planning, assessment of needs and individual support planning. A key aspect of the role will be to advocate on behalf of service users to improve access to support in Bexley. This role will be based at Lewisham Police Station and within the Bexley Office.
About the Role
A unique and exciting opportunity has arisen to work as a Police IDVA for Solace co-located in Lewisham Police station. As the IDVA you will provide immediate support for victim/survivors of abuse at all levels of intervention including carrying out risk and needs assessments, safety planning and providing short-term support and onward referral. In addition, you will act as the Police lead for Solace in Bexley, providing advice and guidance to Solace staff and the Police.
The Police IDVA will hold a case load of 15 cases.
You will be working as part of a multidisciplinary team and collaborating with external agencies in your work and being the direct link to MARAC for Solace within Bexley.
About You

You will have a “can-do‟ approach and demonstrable commitment to Solace’s feminist approach to supporting women and their children to be safer. You will receive training and support for this role as necessary.

Black Rootz has been incubated as a project within The Ubele Initiative since 2019. As an established name in the growing community, it is now building towards an independent future.
ABOUT THE ROLE
The Project Manager is a new role that will provide hands on management capacity to Black Rootz. The role will bring experience and energy to support the delivery and continued development of the project’s core activities; the Community Growing Programme and a new workshop series. The Project Manager will take on a management position and, with support from Ubele, help the project to navigate decisions that will enable Black Rootz to achieve its overall social, environmental, and operational ambitions.
The successful candidate will be central in Black Rootz’ journey towards a more independent and sustainable future. The ideal candidate will be comfortable with the complexity andholistic nature of Black Rootz and will be committed to its values. As a small team, the Project Manager will be as comfortable making plans and big decisions as they are rolling their sleeves up and being hands on to support the team. This role is posted as a one year contract as the needs of the business are changing as the organisation develops. At the end of the year the needs of ALIMA will be reviewed and there may be scope to further shape the role, depending on the needs of the business and funding available at the time.

- Working with the Head of Development & Chair to create and develop new financial management systems for the charity
- Ongoing management of the financial systems of the charity including bookkeeping, invoice management and basic reporting

EVENT & PROGRAMME CO-ORDINATION
- Coordination of small events
- Organising and coordinating staff and trustee visits to the UK and overseas
SUPPORTING SENIOR STAKEHOLDERS
- Organise UK board meetings including booking venues, finalising and circulating papers, minute taking

REQUIRED
Skills, Experience & Knowledge
- Experience working for a UK-based charity in an administrative, executive support, finance, fundraising or project management role
- Strong project management skills: a track record of successfully driving small to medium-sized projects
- Strong numerical skills, including experience reporting on or managing budgets, producing management accounts or equivalent
- Excellent verbal and written English language skills
- Excellent organisational skills: Ability to plan, prioritise and manage a varied and demanding workload to meet deadlines
- Experience working with a broad range of stakeholders including Senior level staff, donors and volunteers
- Knowledge and understanding of fundraising in the UK charity sector

The role:
This role will work closely with the Executive Director and proactively work to support the strategy of the organisation along with providing a first-class administration and coordination service. The role will ensure that activities taken forward are aligned to organisational culture, especially where they are cross-organisational to nurture a sense of wider team.

You will have extensive experience in a similar role and it is key to be able to work on your own initiative and be proactive in your approach. You will need experience of effectively supporting the delivery of strategy as well as outstanding communication, interpersonal and administrative skills. Having a commitment to EIA’s work is also important.
What we offer:
This is a full-time role for a 12-month maternity cover.
The salary is £40,000 - £45,000 depending upon experience. Benefits include 25 days holiday with additional days off between Christmas and New Year, as well as flexible and hybrid working arrangements and a mental health and wellbeing support programme.
