The Community Builder role focuses on making connections within the community and facilitating local community groups to develop activities and events. This role focuses specifically on engaging younger adults (16 - 30 yrs) and is expected to work closely with existing staff and other community builders in the local area. 

We are ideally seeking applicants with experience of community devlopment work, and good knowledge of digital media. It may well suit someone with lived experience from the target group, or experience of working with this age group.

Main Purpose of Role

·To work with local community groups and individuals using an asset-based approach, to help them become more active in their local communities

·To provide particular focus on connecting younger adults (16-30 years) with their local neighbourhood and wider communities of interest

·To create digital content in support of PRC’s marketing and communications programme, to raise the charity’s profile and promote its role in the local community. In particular, to share positive stories to promote community activities and events, and inspire individuals to participate

Key Tasks

·To engage with local communities within Pershore and its surrounds using an ‘strengths based’ approach, with particular focus on younger adults who are socially isolated

·To create an ‘asset map’ for the local area (e.g. individuals, associations, institutions, places etc.) and identify local connectors

·Support local residents to identify what is important to them, and to create associations, activities or events which are sustainable beyond the project. This will include helping people to identify and source the necessary resources and funding

·Bring together individuals who wish to get more involved in the community, providing support and mentoring to achieve these goals 

·Engage with a range of local organisations and associations (e.g. Wellbeing Hub, Police, library, local businesses), individual community connectors and supporters to create a network of interdependent community support, and to facilitate delivery of community-led projects and solutions

·Work alongside other Community Builders in Wychavon area to ensure alignment of projects, maximise use of local resources and share information, tools and learning

·Facilitate social events, community meetings and ideas fairs at PRC and in the local area to support residents in developing their own programme of activities

·Gather stories, data, outcomes and other evidence of impact for both formal reporting and promotional use

·In collaboration with the Centre Manager develop and deliver a marketing and communications plan which amplifies the local impact of the Community Builder programme and the profile of PRC more widely – with particular emphasis on digital marketing

·Work within the PRC policy framework, with particular regard to Safeguarding policies and procedures and personal safety

·Undertake appropriate networking and professional development opportunities to keep abreast of the wider ABCD and community development programme

This role requires a flexible approach to working hours and a willingness to work across some evenings and weekends on a regular basis, to engage with members of the community when they are available. Much of the postholder’s time will be spent in the local community and as the role and project develops, the key tasks outlined within this document may change.

Responsibilities of our Data Analyst:

As Data Analyst you will be responsible for the delivery of actionable and highly effective supporter analysis, reports, dashboards and statistical models to inform the evidence-based decision making of the Marketing and Income Generation directorate. The Data Analyst will support departmental strategies and plans by analysing campaign effectiveness and providing a clear understanding of our audiences to optimise supporter journeys, improve targeting and drive engagement. They will also assist the Lead Data Analyst in designing, planning and delivering data insight projects to enable the directorate to maintain a supporter-focused view, maximising the returns on Cat Protection’s investments.

What we’re looking for in our Data Analyst:

• Significant database marketing experience with use and manipulation of data structures with a relational database management system
• Significant data analysis and interpretation experience identifying key trends
• Advanced knowledge of FastStats or similar statistical package
• Advanced knowledge of Excel
• Full understanding of the data analysis process from briefing to delivery
• Experience presenting analysis and managing stakeholder relationships

THE ROLE
The Contracts Manager will join our Operations team to represent the Woodland Trust locally, supporting a diverse portfolio of sites within North England, in line with the Trust’s standards and ensuring the safety of our colleagues, visitors, contractors and volunteers. It shall be the Contracts Manager’s responsibility to support Site Managers’ in the preparation and delivery of grant applications, operational contracts and projects including silvicultural operations. 

The Contracts Manager will initiate, develop and project manage new innovative projects within and across the woodlands, working with external partner and a cross-departmental team of foresters, people engagement specialists, communications specialists and funders.

They will identify opportunities to streamline services, develop our contractor base and maximise the income and grant aid potential of work programmes. They are responsible for ensuring that all necessary agreements, mitigations and consents are in place in preparation for the delivery of contracts and in accordance with all Woodland Trust Health and Safety policies and procedures.

This is a 2-year fixed term contract until end of April 2026. A company car will be provided with this role.

THE CANDIDATE
With previous experience in land-based management in the forestry, woodland management, or nature conservation sector, you’ll have experience in writing and reviewing site management plans, budget and contract management, and Health and Safety management.

You’ll have experience in the writing and delivery grant schemes across woodland creation and for specifying, instructing, and supervising woodland management operations. You’ll be experienced in planning, monitoring, and delivering multi-disciplinary projects to time and to budget and in engaging with contractors and suppliers on pricing, implementation, and delivery.

You must have a proactive ‘can-do’ attitude, excellent communication skills, be commercially aware and able to build effective partnerships internally and externally.  You’ll have experience engaging with external stakeholders, communities and volunteers with a collaborative approach. A working knowledge of the operational, ie Forest Works Management of woodlands would be desirable.

A full driving licence is a must have, along with the ability to undertake travel across a wide area, sometimes to remote locations. Occasional overnight stays will be required and you will be expected to live in the region and within easy reach of key sites in North England.

This is an incredibly exciting time to join Claire House as we deliver an ambitious five-year strategy to reach more children and develop our second site in Liverpool. We need an experienced internal communications officer who can take complex ideas and make them sound simple and engaging.

This role will provide expert internal communications advice and support across the organisation, helping to communicate progress on key projects and improving employee engagement and organisational culture. You will also work with external stakeholders including families and healthcare professionals. The job will include drafting messaging, copy writing, developing engaging content and marketing materials and implementing communications project plans.

Previous experience in a similar organisation is desirable, but internal communications expertise, lots of energy and an ability to build relationships are essential. In return, this role will offer an opportunity to help the hospice transform the way it works, massively increase its impact and the vital support it offers to seriously and terminally ill babies, children, young adults and their families.

Rape Crisis England & Wales works in partnership with three of our member centres to deliver the 24/7 Rape and Sexual Abuse Support Line. Hereford, Worcester and Gloucester Dioceses are working towards reaching Net Zero Carbon by 2030 and to incorporate sustainable working practices across all its operations. Job Purpose: The project aims to deliver a range of trauma-informed learning and development opportunities to women impacted by the criminal justice system. Delivered in our Manchester and Trafford women’s centres, these gender responsive activities, co-produced with women with lived experience, will provide personal and practical skill development that meets their needs and supports their aspirations around employment or education, including a focus on wellbeing and practical learning.

Key Responsibility Areas

1. Co-ordinate and deliver a schedule of trauma informed and gender responsive workshops that aim to address wellbeing and reduce barriers women impacted by the CJS face in accessing employment or education opportunities.
2. Maintain case management systems to ensure accurate and timely data recording.
3. Develop and maintain relationships with key partners and stakeholders, such as lived experience groups, education, training and employment networks and local services.
4. Create opportunities for women impacted by the criminal justice system to input into the programme, such as co-production, and peer supporters

The role

The Refugee Resettlement Team Leader will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the refugee resettlement service, ensuring newly resettled households receive effective support from the service and external organisations to enable them to live independently in the UK.

You will train, support and motivate staff and you will regularly monitor performance to ensure service standards and targets are met.

You will develop, implement and review tailored support plans across the service, working within a multi-agency framework to ensure a coordinated and consistent response to resettlement. You will engage and consult with households supported by the service to ensure their needs are met.
