You will have experience of delivering against financial targets, along with the ability to translate complex information into a compelling ask in both verbal and written form. As a Philanthropy Manager in DARO, you will be innovative, self-motivated, and take ownership of fundraising opportunities in this area and generate significant gifts for amazing philanthropic projects. You will have an enthusiasm for building relationships, the skill to interact with high-level donors and supporters, and the ability to showcase the sector-leading academic research to a range of audiences.

As an Employment Coach with our Employcare Project you will be supporting unpaid carers living in Manchester; providing support and coaching in order for them to re-enter paid employment or voluntary roles. BACKGROUND INFORMATION AND PURPOSE OF THE POST
The Finance and Resources Team is responsible for responsible for HI’s finances, general services and HR in the UK. It comprises the Chief Finance and Operating Officer, a Finance Officer and an Accounting Officer.
The main purpose of this post is:
- To ensure smooth and efficient running of the HI UK office, including office services, IT, internal communications and health & safety

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Operations
- Maintain the office facilities and environment to agreed service levels

- Be responsible for the operation and maintenance of office equipment and IT equipment for all staff and volunteers, and arrange their repair or replacement, in conjunction with the Finance Officer and the Accounting Officer, as need arises
- Act as principal contact person for HI UK’s IT infrastructure and support provider, helping colleagues to access IT support when required and developing and implementing the organisation’s IT strategy
- Manage budget lines associated with running of the office and participate in procurement, primarily of office and IT supplies, liaising with external suppliers.
- Act as designated Health & Safety Officer for the office, including ensuring Health & Safety policies are up to date and being adhered to
- Continually review systems in place within the office, make improvements where required, and communicate these to relevant people
Human Resources
- Provide administrative support and advice for the recruitment of staff, consultants and volunteers, including advertising, interviews, issue of contracts and inductions, liaising with the federation manager and recruitment teams when relevant
- Assist with other HR tasks, including managing staff and volunteer files, managing the HR information system, administrative support for payroll and contributing to updates of the staff handbook

Amnesty Tech is seeking a consultant to specifically work with our Children and Young Peoples' Digital Rights, Health and Well-being (CYD) team. The CYD team work on delivering the RIGHTS Click programme. The overarching vision of this team is of a world where online platforms and other digital technologies are safe, healthy and supportive spaces for children and young people, helping them realize their human rights.
The consultant will work collaborate with Amnesty Tech's Children and Young people's Digital Rights, Health and Well-being (CYD) team. The vision of this team is a world where online platforms and other digital technologies are safe, healthy and supportive spaces for Children and Young people helping them realise their human rights.
PURPOSE
The consultancy is intended to deliver policy research into the various measures designed to tackle the creation and/or dissemination of child sexual abuse material (CSAM) on the internet that have been proposed in legislation in a number of jurisdictions.
The assignment would include:
-Review of our current policy positions to see how they would inform a position on these approaches to tackling CSAM, including our policy on consensual teen sexual activity, opposition to the weakening or breaking of end-to-end encryption (E2EE), etc.
-Review of proposed strategies for tackling CSAM in key jurisdictions including the EU, UK and USA, as well as any other countries or multi-lateral initiatives (such as the UNODC) proposing measures that will have an impact on human rights and digital rights.
-The human rights implications of these measures, for instance how weakening encryption or client-side scanning poses risks to children's right to privacy, but also all users' right to privacy and also poses risks to the right to freedom of expression and peaceful assembly in repressive contexts.
-The pros and cons of the proposed strategies and whether or not they are consistent with human rights, particularly the rights of the child, and digital rights.
-The research should also consider consensual sharing of sexually explicit images between teenagers who may be affected by any laws or measures to tackle CSAM.
-Look into the positive role education about online safety might play in mitigating some risks and government duties to provide such education to minimise harm to children and balance other rights.
OBJECTIVES AND DELIVERABLES
The Consultant will deliver:
-An internal policy briefing on the human rights implications of measures to tackle the creation and dissemination of CSAM on the internet.
-The main human rights concerns of each of these measures, for instance the risk to the right to privacy of breaking or weakening E2EE.
-The human rights implications of these measures on consensual teen sexual activity such as sexting or the consensual taking of explicit photos.
-An analysis of the human rights implications of AI-generated CSAM in order to inform Amnesty's position on this.
-An overview of the main measures to tackle CSAM that have been proposed in legislation, for instance client-side scanning of photos on mobile devices or actions that companies have introduced voluntarily such as scanning cloud-based services.
-The pros and cons (and ergo the proportionality and necessity) of each of these measures in terms of their ability to tackle CSAM versus the impacts they have on other rights or the limitations to their effectiveness in tackling CSAM.
-What role can education play in mitigating these online harms related to CSAM?

About the Role
The Learning Support Team offers support to Teams helping young people to develop core skills – both practical and academic, widen their existing interests, and explore new ideas. You will be involved in delivering group and one-to-one sessions, Maths and English tuition, tailored to individual needs; working with the rest of the team around the young person to ensure all our young people are provided with appropriate access to education engagement.

Sessions can take place anywhere from the beach to the kitchen via the garden and the gym. This role is the first point of contact for journalists getting in touch with the Trussell Trust. The role is accountable for handling media enquiries; checking and responding to the press inbox; media monitoring and securing press coverage. The Press Officer will assist with media work through print, online and broadcast news to help build understanding, awareness and consideration of the organisation’s mission and goal. The Press Officer will support and advise colleagues, food banks in the network and external stakeholders to ensure they receive media coverage of strategically important projects.

· Build relationships across the organisation, within the food bank network, with external stakeholders such as corporate partners, and with journalists to assist with securing coverage across national, regional and local media to reach new audiences and build cause awareness
· Horizon scan for media opportunities and develop innovative integrated communication plans, overseeing advice, statements, timelines, and key messaging to engage specific audience segments.

About the role
As a Coach in the Structured Coaching Team, you will be the lead worker for people who engage well with the service and are able to work with you to develop and follow a personalised plan to end their homelessness.
