Supported by a multi-million pound grant from the wider Church, we are setting up a new function responsible for engaging with clergy at all stages of life and ministry on their current and future plans, offering access to grants to kick-start saving, bespoke advice at key life stages and tailored products that will give our customers more choice about their future.

This is a remote role, based in the region with an expectation that you combine virtual delivery with regular local travel and partnership building. We expect that some role will be offered on a part-time basis and so welcome applications from applicants looking for part-time roles. 

About the Roles

We are looking for five proactive, empathetic professionals to join our new team of Regional Advisors, delivering personalised support to clergy helping them with day-to-day financial wellbeing matters, and retirement planning. 

Working across Dioceses operating in your region, you will lead local engagement with clergy through structured one-to-one conversations, events and outreach, helping to connect individuals with expert advice, guidance, products and services that support their current and future financial plans. 

As a key point of contact for individuals and dioceses in your area, you’ll champion the needs and experiences of clergy—feeding insight into service improvements. This is an exciting opportunity to join at the very beginning, shape how we work, and make a real impact. We’re looking to build a dynamic, forward-thinking team that thrives on innovation and collaboration. What you'll be doing

In this role, you will proactively engage clergy across a defined geographical area, with matters of financial wellbeing, and future retirement planning (inclusive of housing)  Your initial focus, will be in offering structured one-to-one conversations to clergy in the decade or so before retirement about their future plans, helping to build confidence about what the future might hold, and connecting people to the right information, products, specialists or local support, which would help their plans. You will also co-design and run local events and learning sessions at key life stages with groups, supported by building strong relationships with diocesan teams. To do this well, you will need to build local networks, and work closely with subject matter experts and other stakeholders to escalate complex welfare or regulated financial matters.

Summary

The NCIs are embarking on a strategic initiative to plan and scope a new SharePoint solution. We are seeking an experienced SharePoint Project Manager to join on an initial 6-month Fixed Term Contract to lead the discovery, design, and early planning stages of this business-critical project. This role sits within the Technology Services department, reporting to the Head of IT Portfolio. We are a busy and close-knit team, working across the NCI's to deliver IT solutions and services, as well as project and programme delivery.

This role is central to designing a SharePoint framework that aligns with the needs of multiple departments-each with distinct workflows and operating models. Success will depend on tailoring the solution to these differences to drive adoption and deliver tangible business benefits.

As a Project Manager we expect you to plan, develop, deliver and implement IT and Business Change projects to time cost and quality through the whole project lifecycle. This will include business case and requirements definition support, extensive project planning, financial/budget management, project controls, governance tasks, monitoring, resource management, scope, procurement, 3rd party and stakeholder engagement, people management, reporting, facilitating project teams and project Boards and compliance with change operating models.

Job purpose

This role will underpin the operation of our fundraising and membership programmes, with a mixture of public facing interactions and focused operational, database work.

Our long-standing membership scheme is an integral part of our fundraising at Action for ME, and we are fortunate to have a generous membership base of over 3,000 loyal supporters. You will be the main point of contact for our members, ensuring they feel valued and connected to our work, as well as supporting efforts to increase our current membership.

You will also be responsible for the smooth running of crucial operational processes for our membership, trading and individual giving income streams, both during fundraising campaigns and day to day. With a commitment to continuous improvement of these systems, you will help us to increase the efficiency and quality of our stewardship, retain our donors and bring in new supporters.

Key duties

Membership

• Be the main point of contact for our members and provide high quality stewardship over the phone, by email and by letter, always ensuring consistent and high-quality communication.
• Be responsible for delivering operational tasks relating to the membership scheme and improving their efficiency. Including, but not limited to, gift importing and processing, data administration, thanking members, processing renewals and sending out renewal reminders.
• Work with the Fundraising Operations Manager and our Senior Supporter Engagement Officer to monitor the performance of the membership programme and support its growth.
• Maintenance and creation of the mailing lists for our membership magazine, InterAction.  Assist with the distribution of the magazine across all channels (post, email, audio).

Individual Giving & Trading

• Ensure that gifts are processed, recorded and thanked appropriately in a timely manner; and that database records are kept up to date, in line with fundraising data regulations.
• Assisting with the administration of our Winter and Spring raffles and Lottery programme.
• Work with the Fundraising Operations Manager and the wider team to maximise fundraising potential using data and donor insights/feedback.
• Maintain a high standard of data quality and record keeping on our database, ensuring our fundraising processes and procedures are applied in line with all regulatory and governance requirements including GDPR and those of the Fundraising Regulator.

Experience and knowledge

• Minimum 2 years previous fundraising experience (desirable)

This is an exciting position where the role holder will be responsible for working on policy relating to children and young people and domestic abuse, violence against women and girls, and gender related topics. They will work closely with the Membership, Training and Communications teams.

Scottish Women’s Aid is Scotland’s leading voluntary sector organisation working to end domestic abuse and promoting effective policy and practice responses for women, children and young people who experience domestic abuse. We are the umbrella organisation for 32 autonomous Women’s Aid groups delivering direct services to women, children and young people across Scotland.

What you’ll do

Working across third sector organisations you will build and maintain relationships to input to policy and influencing, as SWA as well as jointly with others. You will maintain good working relationships with civil servants, challenging ideas and find solutions where necessary.

The role includes inputting to and submitting consultation responses, researching and writing briefings, preparing for SWA to providence evidence in parliament, keep our communications team up to date with policy inputs and changes, and input to good practice stemming from policy changes. What you will be doing

The Delivery Officer (Good for Girls) will deliver the programme's day-to-day operations and the broader mental health offer to London Youth members. You will deliver Good for Girls, a youth club-based mental health and well-being programme. You will support 10 youth organisations to engage young people in the programme, which enables young women and girls to participate in regular well-being activities and training for young Londoners.

Lead the delivery of the Good for Girls programme 

• Coordinate Good for Girls to meet key delivery targets, secure the target recruitment of member organisations, youth workers and young people, and oversee the onboarding process. 
• Coordinate Peer Mentors to undertake training and to then support delivery of the programme. 
• Work with internal colleagues to ensure organisations participating in our programmes receive a quality experience, such as completing due diligence.
