Senior Community Fundraiser

Role Overview
The Talent Set are delighted to partner with an amazing well known charity t on a fantastic Senior Community Fundraiser role. The successful candidate will play a key part in building and expanding the organisation’s presence in Scotland, developing local supporter engagement and leading regional fundraising efforts to achieve ambitious income targets.

Key Responsibilities

• Establish and nurture relationships with new and existing supporters within the community, particularly across Edinburgh and surrounding areas.
• Identify opportunities to grow regional fundraising initiatives, including developing new supporter pipelines.
• Collaborate with local partners and community groups to increase awareness and engagement.
• Plan and deliver community-based fundraising activities, supporting the organisation’s regional growth.
• Represent the charity at events, supporting community engagement strategies, and inspiring commitment to the cause.
• Build and maintain a network of local contacts, including retail partners and community stakeholders.
• Support the organisation’s large-scale partnership with retail outlets, helping to expand fundraising initiatives such as the existing partnership.

Person Specification

• Proven experience in relationship building, ideally in customer service, account management, or similar roles involving supporter engagement.
• Skilled in developing new relationships and maintaining strong, retained partnerships.
• Organised, proactive, and comfortable working independently across various community locations.
• Confident communicator with the ability to inspire others and articulate the organisation’s mission.
• Full driving licence and access to a vehicle are essential for regional travel commitments.
• Able to work flexibly, with a willingness to travel and manage multiple priorities across the region.

What’s on Offer
Salary: £31,000 - £34,000
