Supporter Engagement Officer

The Talent Set are delighted to be working with a fantasitc Health and Women's charity to find their brand new Supporter Engagement Officer.

The charity offers a flexible working environment, with hybrid working 2 days per week from their London office.


Working closely with the Supporter Engagement Manager, the Supporter Engagement Officer will provide support to increase the engagement and income from the charities supporters. The role will support on developing a variety of supporter journeys, providing an audience-first and engaging experience to help build and nurture a passionate community. The role will also assist on reporting the success and learnings of our communications, using data and insight for continuous improvement.


This role would be ideal for an individual who has experience with supporter journeys, and is particularly passionate about developing their skills within data and insights.



Key Responsibilities:


·       With the support of the Supporter Engagement Manager, lead on developing and updating our always-on supporter journeys, ensuring new contacts go on an audience-first and engaging journey from the outset.

·       Lead on creating engaging content for our always-on supporter journeys and re-engagement campaigns.

·       Provide support to the charities marketing campaigns supporter journeys helping to write and develop content.

·       Provide support for ongoing supporter communications.

·       Support on reporting the success and learnings of our communications in regular feedback meetings and reports.

·       Support on creating and updating tracking dashboards to monitor performance.

·       Analyse and use data insight to suggest continual improvements to supporter journeys.

·       Support in maintaining and developing data processes across different platforms.

·       Assist the fundraising teams supporter journeys to help ensure contacts go on a continuous engaging journey.

·       Help develop supporter journeys for new fundraising products.


Person Specification:


·       Strong marketing or fundraising background (1-2 years).

·       Experience with supporter journey creation and development.

·       Experience with using email platforms (Adestra or equivalent).

·       Experience with data analysis, insight and reporting.

·       Experience of updating tracking dashboards.

·       Experience of working with multiple stakeholders.

·       Supporter journey planning & mapping.

·       Strong copy writing and email content writing.

·       Database proficiency (RE or equivalent).

·       Excellent communicator both verbal and written.
