Test Analyst / Software Tester
£35,000 - £40,000 | 6-month FTC | Mostly Remote | ASAP Start

Are you an experienced Test Analyst or Software Tester looking for your next contract and available immediately or at short notice?

We’re working with a well-established, purpose-led professional body seeking a hands-on Test Analyst to join its CRM project team for an initial six-month fixed-term contract.

This is a great opportunity to join at an important stage of a major Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM and customer portal implementation, helping ensure the new systems are thoroughly tested, reliable and ready for successful delivery.

The roleWorking closely with the Test Manager, project team, CRM provider and internal stakeholders, you’ll take ownership of hands-on testing across the CRM and customer portal.

You’ll be responsible for:

• Carrying out functional, regression, integration and UAT testing
• Creating and executing test cases and test plans
• Testing Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM, customer portals and end-to-end user journeys
• Identifying, documenting and retesting defects
• Managing user stories, bugs, test evidence and defects through Azure DevOps
• Testing integrations, workflows and different user scenarios
• Supporting business users through UAT
• Providing clear reporting on test progress, defects, risks and release readiness
• Working with both technical and non-technical stakeholders to ensure the system meets business requirements

We’re looking for someone who can hit the ground running, so you'll ideally bring:

• Strong hands-on software, systems or CRM testing experience
• Experience of functional, regression, integration and UAT testing
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 or comparable complex CRM platforms
• Good working knowledge of Azure DevOps or similar test/defect management tools
• Experience managing test cases, test plans, defects and test evidence
• Confidence testing complex systems, integrations and customer-facing portals
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• The ability to communicate clearly with developers, suppliers and business users

Knowledge of automated testing would be an advantage, but isn’t essential.

The detailsSalary: £35,000 - £40,000
Contract: 6-month fixed-term contract
Hours: Full time, 35 hours per week
Location: Mostly remote, with occasional attendance at the Central London office
