The charity, alongside volunteers and partners, coordinates a network of food banks, kitchens, a community shop and café. Whilst at these locations, guests can access more holistic support, including welfare advice, asylum support and an award-winning community garden.

The Senior Community and Engagement Manager will lead the growth and development of the Community Engagement Programme, as well as the Garden Programme. Your focus will be on strategic direction, partnership building, fundraising, and overseeing monitoring, evaluation, research, and learning (MERL) activities.

Key responsibilities:

• Strategic Leadership & Programme Oversight: Lead and develop Community Engagement and Garden Programmes in line with the 2030 strategy, ensuring community collaboration, operational planning, accreditation compliance, and effective team management.
• Fundraising & Financial Oversight: Support funding proposals and budget development and oversee financial planning and delivery of services across both programmes.
• Monitoring, Evaluation & Reporting: Design and implement MERL frameworks, ensuring impact measurement and reporting to trustees, funders, and senior leadership.
• Safeguarding, Compliance & Organisational Support: Act as a Designated Safeguarding Lead, ensure policy compliance, contribute to SLT meetings, and champion equality, diversity, and inclusion across programmes.

The ideal candidate will have strategic programme management experience in community development, social impact, or environmental sectors, with strong skills in project planning, budget oversight, and working with diverse communities. You will have knowledge of safeguarding, participatory engagement models, and best practices in volunteer and community-led work. Strong leadership, communication skills, and a commitment to learning, teamwork are essential.

We are seeking a Corporate Partnerships Manager (Partnership Management) - 12 Month Contract to join our London team.

Corporate Partnerships are a key funding stream for Movember and an area of growth for the charity. The team has a renewed focus on building long term multifaceted and mutually beneficial partnerships, as well as driving new business to secure the future growth of our partnership revenue.

The Corporate Partnerships Manager will have experience working in a fast-paced national Corporate Partnerships team, with at least 4 years’ experience in either high-value 6 and 7 figure Account Management or New Business. This role is responsible for growing the year-round corporate fundraising revenue in in the UK through existing or new partners.

This will achieved by:

• Implementing the strategy for Commercial and Fundraising partnerships under management
• Developing and managing a portfolio of partners worth over £500,000
• Developing and managing a robust pipeline of high value(6 figure) commercial and/or philanthropic prospects
•  Working collaboratively with other Movember income teams in the UK, Europe and in our other key markets, as well as with other Movember functions locally and globally (marketing and impact in particular)

For this role, you’ll need:

• 4+ years’ experience in an account management / development role either at a national charity or in the private sector working on account management of high-value partnerships
• Experience of managing commercial partnerships including account management and stewardship
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships
• Experience of various aspects of corporate fundraising including licensing, CRM, Employee engagement, Sponsorship

Job Purpose

We are looking for a Marine Scientist to play a substantive role to support all of Oceana’s UK campaigns. Research, science and data are at the heart of Oceana’s UK work, underpinning our policy positions, creating campaign moments and answering key questions with new research.

The successful candidate will write and project manage research to unlock key campaign questions relating to overfishing, habitat protection and energy in particular, as well as other potential campaign areas in future. They will also work to increase Oceana’s presence within the academic community, attending relevant conferences and meetings and seeking future collaborations on topics of interest.

The Scientist will report to and be supported by the Director of Policy and Research, and work closely with science colleagues across the Oceana global network and beyond. Eligible candidates should have some experience in conducting research, including analysing data, but we’re equally looking for passion, motivation and a drive to protect the ocean. You should be a self-starter, with a strong ability to work independently and as part of a small but growing team.

Role Overview

• Support the delivery of Oceana’s campaigns, working with the Director of Policy and Research and relevant campaign teams.
• Research, draft and/or review content for Oceana’s scientific reports and other external communications, with particular attention to scientific accuracy.
• Gather evidence to support Oceana’s UK campaigns, including analysing primary and secondary data, conducting literature reviews and creating position papers.
• Commission and project manage research from external partners as needed, managing relationships through the duration of any projects.
• Work closely with the Oceana HQ Science and Strategy team and other scientist colleagues in the Oceana network to gather insights, inspiration and knowledge.
• Coordinate relevant stakeholders to ensure internal scientific reviews are completed in line with campaign timelines.
• Build strong external relationships within the academic community and represent Oceana to ensure we advance our goals with a wide range of stakeholders, from the general public to politicians.
• Actively participate in key policy and research conferences and events to defend and advance Oceana campaign goals.
• Maintain subject matter expertise and identify areas for new research by following the current literature, attending relevant meetings, and communicating with peers in the field.
• Represent Oceana externally in relevant networks, with partners and in the media as needed.
• Conduct other policy and research tasks as agreed and required.

Candidate Requirements

Education and work experience

• Degree, ideally masters-level, in environmental, fisheries or marine science, or a related field.
• Familiarity with marine and climate issues, regulations and policies in the UK, as well as with key institutions and decision-making processes.
• Experience writing or commissioning primary or secondary research and associated materials summarising the work.
• A passion for UK seas and delivering a healthy ocean in general.

Skills and knowledge

• Familiarity with UK marine and fisheries policy and science.
• GIS and database proficiency, including basic knowledge of GIS mapping and statistical analysis.
• Strong project management skills, with experience managing multiple workstreams and projects effectively to time and budget.
• Ability to represent Oceana in a professional and responsive manner both within and outside the academic community
• Excellent writing, editing, communication, organisational and research skills with the ability to confidently distil scientific messages to stakeholders with varying levels of expertise.

The role

To co-ordinate the day to day operations, supervise a large team of volunteers and ensure the ongoing success of the FareShare East Anglia food warehouse in Ipswich. This will involve working closely with warehouse colleagues and volunteers to ensure that all operational activities are completed to the agreed timetable and to the food safety standards set out in the FareShare operating manual. Main areas of responsibility

Operations

• Work as a team with the Warehouse Manager , Warehouse Coordinator colleagues and volunteers to ensure all shifts are adequately planned, supervised and meet operational needs this includes driving a Forklift
• Responsible for organising food distribution using the FareShare food management systems
• Maintain excellent relations and communications with volunteers, staff, food suppliers and charities
• Ensuring all key activities and milestones per shift are met
• Work with the Warehouse Manager to develop new operational processes as required and take an active role in their implementation
• To carry out any other duties which may be necessary in the light of the main purpose of the job..

Health & Safety

• Be responsible for the Health & Safety and security of FareShare East Anglia buildings, vehicles, staff and volunteers, including the delivery of appropriate health & safety briefings.
• Carry out & update risk assessments as defined by the FareShare operating manual and complete risk assessments for all new activity as required.
• Ensure compliance with all FareShare policies and procedures and industry standards as required by food donors and regulators.
• To ensure that the vans used by FareShare East Anglia are roadworthy and legal (taxed and insured) and to ensure there is payment of appropriate charges.
• Support the development of relevant policies and procedures for FareShare and to ensure that all staff, volunteers, food suppliers, charities and visitors adhere to them as appropriate.
• To comply with monitoring and evaluation systems as required for the Regional Centre’s activities and report regularly to the Warehouse Manager as required. 

Operating Hours and Shift Pattern

Position will be 07.30 to 3.30,/ 08:30-16.30 Monday – Friday and, on occasional Saturdays on a rota basis.  

Flexibility to provide cover for planned and ad-hoc absences as well as Public and Bank Holidays is highly desirable in this role and also offers the opportunity for additional hours to supplement the core hours.

Qualifications

Essential

• Commitment to gain, if not already held, intermediate certificate in food hygiene.
• Full Drivers Licence and had forklift training

Experience & Knowledge

Essential

• At least one years’ experience of one or more of the following:
  • supervising/managing staff and/or volunteers
  • warehousing operation
  • food distribution
• Experience of working in a team with evidence of demonstrating a flexible approach to team working
• Experience of working on own initiative, able to manage own workload and prioritise tasks to meet objectives
• Experienced driver, with full, clean driving licence and willing to undertake forklift training.

The purpose of the Bookkeeper position at Latin American House is to ensure accurate and timely financial administration, supporting the efficient management and smooth operation of the organisation’s financial activities. This includes processing invoices, tracking payments and expenses, managing financial documentation, and ensuring compliance with both internal policies and external regulations.

The Bookkeeper plays a crucial role in maintaining accurate financial records, assisting with financial reporting, audit preparation, and supporting senior management in overseeing budgets, payroll, and compliance.

By providing essential administrative support, the Bookkeeper upholds the integrity, efficiency, and transparency of LAH's financial processes, contributing to the overall success, sustainability, and governance of the organisation. 

The Marketing Manager at CBM UK is a vital role and has responsibility for delivering CBM UKs digital and direct marketing plans to engage and inspire individual supporters and churches to support the work of CBM.
Working closely with the Head of Marketing, as part of the Public Fundraising team, the role holder will be responsible for the management and development of two Marketing Officers. Through digital and direct marketing, the Public Fundraising team are responsible for raising over £3m of unrestricted income from cultivation, acquisition, mid-value donors, regular giving, legacies and churches.

Key responsibilities
Fundraising campaign management (40%)
Manage the effective implementation of the annual public fundraising plan, ensuring that all activity is of a high standard, and delivered on time and to budget:
a. Oversee cultivation fundraising appeals primarily carried out through direct mail and email, leading on the continued development of mass fundraising to engage both existing and potential supporters, including high donors, regular givers and church communities.
b. Manage and develop CBM UKs donor acquisition activity in collaboration with the Marketing Officer (Acquisition), using channels such as social media, magazine inserts, press advertising, email and telephone.
c. Oversee the delivery of CBM UKs legacy and in-memoriam giving plans and campaigns.
d. Identify and consider new income streams and broaden the channels used currently for direct response campaigns to reach an agreed balance of long-term value versus risk.

Digital marketing (40%)
Grow digital engagement and income from new and existing supporters:
a. Lead on Pay Per Click strategy, including agency management and development of internal capabilities.
b. Oversee CBM UK’s paid social media activity.
c. Collaborate with the Communications Team to optimise the performance (traffic and income) of fundraising pages, including appeal and donation pages, churches and community, legacy, and in memoriam giving. Ensuring fundraising pages on the CBM website are engaging to existing and new audiences and where appropriate, utilising Search Engine Optimisation tools where appropriate.

d. Explore and make use of new and existing digital platforms and partners, such as Dataro and SEMrush, while promoting a culture of testing, innovation and learning within the digital space.

Leadership and people management (10%)
a. Support and inspire direct reports in line with CBM UK’s staff management policies and procedures. Ensure team members are appropriately trained, briefed and motivated to achieve their objectives and meet targets and recruit to posts where relevant. Regular 121s and appraisal reviews.
Planning and reporting (10%)
a. Monitor and report on fundraising appeals, identifying opportunities for future testing and optimisation, and contribute to the creation of annual planning, budgeting, and the setting of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
b. Work closely with the Data and Insight team to ensure strong joint working on technical solutions related to campaign analysis, tracking and insights across digital systems, such as the website, donation platform and CRM (Salesforce).
c. Plan, deliver and report on campaigns/projects within an agreed budget.

Other
a. Ensure the consistent use of CBMs brand, key messages and style guide across all fundraising activities.
b. Maintain awareness of and ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements related to direct marketing, including Fundraising Regulator guidance, and Data Protection legal requirements (GDPR and PECR).
c. Collaborate with colleagues across CBM UK and the CBM Global Federation, to support integrated and partnership based working.
d. Help foster a positive and inclusive culture of enthusiasm and success, reflecting the ambitions of CBM, and promoting positive working and innovation.
e. Be willing to work occasionally outside normal office hours and to travel in the UK and internationally if required.
f. Ensuring that the values of CBM UK are understood by external partners and always reflected in communications.
g. Undertake other duties as required by the Head of Marketing and Director of Fundraising, Impact and Communications.

We’re looking for a Finance Officer to join our close-knit finance team. You will work closely with the Financial Controller on the charity’s accounting, financial reporting and budgeting processes. This is an exciting role - you’ll be working on reports for some of the charity’s key stakeholders, from the staff who lead our centres through to members of the Senior Management Team and external funders.

Experience of finance is not a prerequisite – rather, we are looking for skills, aptitude and potential. However, you must be able to demonstrate a high level of numeracy, excellent oral and written communication skills, and a good knowledge of Microsoft Excel is important.

If you’re looking to start your career in finance, this is an ideal opportunity for you to learn about finance from the grassroots up. You will be fully supported with a thorough in-house training programme, and we’ll also provide you with assistance to complete the CIMA Certificate in Business Accounting, with the opportunity to then progress to the full CIMA qualification.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Medical Devices Co-ordinator to join the Clinical Asset Team. Your role is to support the Medical Devices Safety Engineer in pro-actively delivering maintenance responses, updating jobs on the CAFM system, ensuring compliance and asset management systems are up to date at all times.

Role Requirements

• Provide operational assistance to all matters pertaining to clinical assets including compliance, asset management, service management and lifecycle management.
• Ensure clinical assets onsite are compliant or taken out of service.
• Allocate jobs to the appropriate contractor, using CAFM systems to create a document trail and manage frequently broken items, escalating issues to the Medical Devices Safety Engineer as appropriate.
• Raise purchase orders as required, appropriately storing relevant documents accessible to the team with expenditure tracked and ensuring appropriate service contracts are in place.
• Updating compliance system with relevant documents for compliance and tracking purposes (including those for Therapy items)
• Participating in the CAWG (Clinical Asset Working Group) and chairing and minute taking in absence of the Medical Devices Safety Officer
• Undertake other or additional duties that are within your skills and abilities, as the organisation may reasonably require from time to time.
• First response to clinical asset jobs coming through to the Helpdesk, co-ordinating with clinical staff at the scene, ensuring the appropriate response is carried out.
• Ability to work under pressure and to make decisions and problem solve as issues arrive
• React to orders and PPMs and within set SLA timeline, ensuring ongoing monitoring. Supporting the Medical Devices Safety Engineer in development of new PPMs.
• Collate relevant data and assist with the weekly work order tracker report and assist in distribution to relevant stakeholders.
