Forces Employment Charity is seeking a dedicated Client Advisor to join our Support Centre in Birmingham.
Role: The role of Client Advisor is to deliver the support centre function for the programme. Forces Employment Charity delivers a specialist programme to support veterans in the Justice System who may be vulnerable, socially isolated, or need support to live or maintain a law-abiding life.
The role reports to the Support Centre Manager and Support Team Leader. This position is permanent Full-time, 35 hours per week, with a salary of £22,000. The successful candidate will be based at the Support Centre, Birmingham Office / Hybrid with 50% Office-50% WFH once the security clearance is received and training is complete.
Principal Responsibilities:
· Receive referrals of Veterans who are at risk of contact with the Justice System or are involved in the Justice System.
· Make first contact with referrals within 2 working days and complete initial registration.
· Upload client information to case management system.
· Provide initial advice and guidance on registration.
· Support allocated caseworker to engage with the veteran after initial assessment.
· Support Veterans to obtain proof of service and sign required consent forms.
· Provide accurate and responsive telephone, text, social media and email ‘helpdesk’ support to veterans and other stakeholders.
· Record all interactions with accurately on the Salesforce case management system.
· To be flexible and complete any additional tasks, asked of you by the support team leader and Support Centre Manager
PERSON SPECIFICATION
Essential Competencies:
· High quality written and verbal communication skills, with a personable manner and excellent telephone technique.
· Experience of advising and supporting individuals.
· Excellent IT and keyboard skills.
· Experience of business administration, in particular the use of databases and customer management systems to accurately record data.
· Strong organisational skills with a desire to achieve through own initiative.
Desirable Competencies:
· NVQ Level 4 Advice and Guidance.
· Empathy for those who have served in the Armed Forces.
· Understanding of those in the Justice System.
· Salesforce experience, this training will be provided for the successful candidate if they are not already trained.
Security Clearance:
· Successful candidates will also be the subject of an Enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service (EDBS) check and Police Vetting (NPPV2).

Mini Malvern Nursery is expanding, and The Downs Malvern are looking to recruit multiple Nursery Practitioners to be part of our incredible team.
Mini Malvern Nursery is for children aged 6 months and up. The nursery comprises of three bright, modern classrooms and two outdoor gardens with adventure play areas, in addition to accessing The Downs Malvern’s beautiful 55-acre site, including a Forest School and a smallholding with pigs, quail, chickens, and sheep.
In this role, you will be responsible for supporting our youngest children and will work closely with the Nursery Manager to ensure the Nursery provision remains at a consistently high standard. You will have a deep knowledge of Early Years Education and a willingness to nurture and support children in their early development.
This role can be worked on a flexible basis either part time or full time which can be discussed at interview. A full time basis is 40 hours per week.

As a RASM you will be assisting the shop manager to run the shop and covering their days off and holidays.

Our charity shops raise vital funds for Birmingham Hospice. The generosity of doners and shoppers plays a crucial role in supporting the community, helping us to provide care for local people living with a terminal diagnosis.
We are looking for a Shop Manager to join our Retail Team, at our Castle Bromwich Shop.
As Shop Manager you will help and support the Retail Area Manager by developing, leading, and motivating your team of staff and volunteers, ensuring that sales and targets are achieved and surpassed; motivate your team to deliver fantastic customer service, meeting performance targets and working continually to improve the work of the Hospice.
The role will involve ensuring that stock is displayed well and is sorted correctly, ensuring the shop and stockroom is always kept clean and tidy. You will actively encourage donations and saleable goods, and ensure stock is prepared for display/selling, ensuring all goods are appropriately sized and priced.
You will lead a team, developing and training of staff and volunteers, and be responsible for ensuring that appropriate rotas are in place to ensure the efficient running and income maximisation of the shop.

Requirements:
· You will have significant retail experience, preferably within the Charity sector
· You will be able to demonstrate a commitment and passion for delivering and driving outstanding customer service.
· You must be an effective communicator and have strong organisational skills as well as having experience of working with sales targets.
