Overview

We are looking to grow our Board which is currently made up of 6 Trustees.
Our Trustees contribute to the strategic direction of the charity, attend regular board meetings, and help ensure that the charity remains financially sustainable, legally compliant, and aligned with our charitable objectives.

This role is voluntary, but offers an exciting opportunity to influence the future direction of a charity committed to making a difference.

Duties

  • Attend regular board meetings to participate in strategic planning and organisational oversight.
  • Contribute your management experience to guide governance, financial stewardship, and program evaluation.
  • Collaborate with fellow trustees to establish long-term goals aligned with our mission and values.
  • Provide oversight on compliance, risk management, and ethical standards to ensure transparency and accountability.
  • Advocate for the charity’s mission within your network, helping to expand support, partnerships, and funding opportunities.
  • Review reports, budgets, and proposals thoroughly to inform sound decision-making.
  • Support the senior leadership team by offering mentorship, guidance, and constructive feedback on key initiatives.

Experience

We are particularly interested in hearing from anyone who has experience in Neurodiversity, Law, HR, Education (SEND) or Financial Management and can bring this experience and knowledge to the Board.
