The Diocese of Coventry is seeking a Strategic Programme and Change Director to drive the development and implementation of our strategic framework. They will play a crucial role in developing the programmes and projects needed to deliver to the key commitments and vision set out in Our Shared Future. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with the Bishop’s Strategy Integration Group, senior Diocesan staff, clergy and lay leaders across the Diocese.

The role holder will:

• Facilitate and co-ordinate the development of the diocese’s strategic plan, working closely with the Bishop’ Strategy Integration Group, senior clergy and lay leaders across the diocese.

Job Purpose

To lead the development, implementation, and scaling of major programmes, ensuring high quality delivery, impact and compliance across the Association’s strategic priorities and geographical areas.

We are a small team of senior professionals and experts delivering change in how the digital world works. We have shifted the narrative and the agenda through provocative comms campaigns (e.g. Twisted Toys), pioneering research (e.g. Pathways) and award-winning tools (e.g. Child Online Safety Toolkit). Key responsibilities ​

• Work on the development of technical frameworks, guidelines, standards, certification or audit processes relevant for implementing regulation for children’s rights in the digital environment at international, EU and UK levels. The Head of Scotland and Northern Ireland is responsible for leading our vision to end the need for food banks in Scotland and Northern Ireland. • Lead the delivery of the Trussell Trust strategy for ending the need for food banks in Scotland and Northern Ireland, working to embed the Changing Communities, Changing Minds and Changing Policy programmes across the network, including through providing strategic support for the effective delivery of the Pathfinder, FI and organising programmes in Scotland and Northern Ireland. 

• Work with key partners to direct Trussell Trust’s policy and public affairs and work with the Scottish government and local authorities across Scotland.

We have a fantastic Registered Care Manager (RCM) opportunity within our Sense Residential service in Edgbaston, Birmingham.

This is a permanent role, working 37.5 hours per week. We are offering a Registered Care Manager £33,930 per annum.

We are looking for a highly motivated individual to join the management team at a service that is registered with CQC has a GOOD rating and is a residential home to 7 individuals. 

The individuals we support here have sensory and learning disabilities and they are leading a happy, varied and fulfilled lifestyles that reflect their individuality and preferences. 

As a Registered Care Manager, you will be managing a staff team of the Deputy Manager and Support Workers.

The team at the service encourage that no one is left out of life and that independence is continually developed along with day to day living skills.

Your duties can include:

• To support individuals/groups within their home and community reach their full potential

Your required skills and experiences:

• Prior experience of managing in a care setting and Good knowledge & understanding of Residential and Supported Living.
• Effective communication with stakeholders, commissioners, and users alike.
• NVQ Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care - or willing to work towards it is essential. Sense will fund this qualification.

Bladder Health UK (BHUK) is a small national charity that has developed significantly over the last 10 years. We are now looking for a part-time charity manager who can continue this journey. The role gives a rare opportunity to someone who is enthusiastic to make a difference in this unique space and have a significant impact on both sufferers and healthcare professionals. As charity manager you will need a varied skillset including being able to build and nurture relationships, manage a small team of staff, develop new income streams, create, and develop imaginative projects and use innovative technology to boost the aims and objectives of the charity.

What you would do

Account management of existing and new relationships in the charity sector. • Research and write grant applications. • Support in making decisions and advise on the charity spend. • Work with the BHUK team to tell the story of ‘Bladder Health UK’ via its communication channels. • Support hosting and organising charity events. • Manage the general cashflow for the charity including reporting from a finance perspective. • Work on a multitude of projects throughout the year. • Outreach to relevant charities that the charity wants to work with and build long lasting, meaningful relationships with them. •. • Maintain all contracts, mailing lists, ensuring IT systems are kept up to date, and are compliant. • Manage ongoing governance of the charity, including developing and maintaining policy documents such as our grant making policy, conflict of interest processes, procedures and register, risk management policy and register. • Maintain charity commission register records. You will also be expected to be able to provide and present regular reports to the Trustees on the finance and operational activity of the charity.

To succeed in this post, it is essential that you have:

• Have been involved in charity campaign work previously.
• Have experience in charity operations and governance. 
• Have sales /marketing/fundraising experience.
• Be able to multi-task in a busy environment.
• Can demonstrate effective communication skills with ability to liaise with different audiences and be effective at developing long-lasting relationships.
• Evidence that you are highly organised and great with time management.
• Have experience developing social media, websites, and webinars to promote, inform and educate.

It would be desirable that you:

• Have either a clinical background or experience in urology issues.
• Are passionate about making a difference and are willing to understand how amazing our members, volunteers and supporters are.
