This is an exciting role supporting the Supporter Experience team in delivering an extensive portfolio of campaign selections and supporter journeys across the NSPCC. The team, which sits within the Communications division, is responsible for managing communications with warm supporters. The team works with Campaign Managers to use data effectively in supporter communications, ensuring supporters receive an excellent experience of the NSPCC.

This role will be responsible for planning and delivering supporter journeys and data selections for NSPCC campaigns, based on briefs developed with Campaign Managers and internal teams. This will primarily use FastStats, PeopleStage and Adestra, as well as the Microsoft Office suite.

The successful candidate will have experience of mailing selections and automated journey creation, as well as an understanding of how data can be applied to create complex and tailored supporter journeys using dynamic content, journey logic, personalisation and reporting. The successful candidate will also have strong interpersonal skills and be experienced in developing and maintaining working relationships across various teams.

Coram Voice provides visiting advocacy services to most of the secure units nationally, to Secure Training Centres, Juvenile Young Offender Institutions, psychiatric hospitals, residential special schools and children’s homes.

About the Role

You will work directly with children and young people with learning disabilities who are living in a residential home near Ludlow, providing them with advocacy support on a fortnightly basis. You will have experience and a passion for working with children and/or adults with learning disabilities and complex needs.

You will empower and support them to ensure their voices are heard within decision–making processes that effect their lives and keep in regularly contact with children and young people to ensure their best interests are safeguarded.

You will be a capable ambassador for Coram Voice with the ability to engage effectively with professionals, carers, other stakeholders and most importantly children and young people.

We are seeking to recruit a highly skilled Key Worker for our Key Worker Service in East Berkshire. The role will be diverse and service user centred and would suit someone with significant experience in supporting young people and young adults with Autism and Learning Disabilities and their families.

The day to day work will involve a flexible approach to coordination and direct support for the young person and their family, as well as providing responsive communication at times of increased need. This is an exciting role which allows for the Key Worker to support families to navigate the system whilst advocating for them and ensuring that their voice is heard.

About the role

About the role

This role will provide financial and operational leadership and management for CCLC particularly focussed on the Legal Practice Unit and the Migrant Children’s Project but with support for the Child Law Advice Service and Coram International where required. Managing a small finance team, the role will hold primary responsibility for core financial functions within CCLC including legal aid billing and management and tracking of grant and other charitable funding. Through systematic and efficient financial management, the post holder will play a pivotal role in CCLC’s financial sustainability. The role will act as a key point of contact with Coram’s central finance team and a range of internal and external stakeholders on financial matters.

The role will also oversee the smooth running of the London and Colchester offices through line management of operations and administrative staff.

The role would suit a high organised and efficient business support professional with experience of financial management within the legal or charity sector. In particular, candidates with experience of legal billing and more specifically, civil legal aid billing, would be welcomed.

This is a largely office-based role in order to fully provide support to the finance and operations team. However, some remote / hybrid working may be possible depending the experience of the candidate after the initial settling in period (to be negotiated with the successful candidate).The finance team are split between the London and Colchester offices and the post holder should expect some travel to both locations. The large majority of the legal and policy team are based in London and as such regular (at least twice weekly) presence in our London office will be expected. However, on other days the candidate could be based in the London or Colchester office.

Whilst this is a full-time position, we will consider requests for part-time working (28 hours per week minimum) and we will endeavour to offer some flexibility with days and hours to be agreed.

Ideally, we would like someone with an interest in IT and have undertaken relevant IT qualifications, ideally at NVQ Level 3 or 4 although we will consider applications from those willing to work towards this.

OVERVIEW OF KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Day to day management of the service desk system.
• Maintain a high degree of customer service for all support requests and take ownership of end-user requests.
• Manage the full process of computer provisioning. 
• Undertake scheduled maintenance to ensure all computers are patched with important software and system updates.
• Administer Microsoft 365 admin centres, software systems, operating systems, applications, directory services, and any other updates and additional tasks related to system administration.
• Support with the onboarding process, ensure new starters have the correct log ins, equipment, and relevant training as necessary.
• Engage with staff to understand their needs and support our employees in the use of computer systems and applications.
• Learn and manage other digital programs within the organisation and support training and development for all staff and smaller teams where required.

KEY CRITERIA

What we are looking for:

• Appropriate academic/professional qualification: Minimum of GCSE, BTEC, and/or A-Level qualification in IT, English and Mathematics
• Experience of managing Microsoft Windows client operating systems – Windows 10/11
• Experience of administering and managing Microsoft 0365 admin centres
• Excellent problem-solving ability with a methodical and logical approach, able to work proactively to resolve challenges and mitigate further issues
• IT Proficiency at advanced level, ability to learn new software’s with ease and able to deliver training and support to others

What we would like, but not essential:

• Experience of working in first-, and second-line roles within agreed Service Level Agreements
• Experience in a similar support/service delivery environment, supporting with issues and incident management
• Additional professional Microsoft certifications
• Experience within a similar role in a similar sized and type of organisation

About the role

As Senior PR Manager, you will play a crucial role in raising the profile of Save the Children UK amongst key target audiences, by developing and delivering projects that command media attention and coverage. As a member of the PR, Artist & Broadcast team, you will be able to apply your experience working with the media to shape major fundraising and influencing campaigns and build our brand. Some stakeholders you will work with include high profile ambassadors, influencers, and partners. In this role, you will:

• Work closely with team members in other departments within Save the Children to provide excellent PR support for delivering Save the Children's objectives
• Develop and execute mass-market PR plans that amplify key strategic campaigns and initiatives across the calendar year, including brand, fundraising and advocacy priorities
• Identify and maximise opportunities to generate reactive media coverage, responding effectively to external events, news and the cultural conversation 
• Write, co-ordinate and issue media releases, statements, briefing materials and Q&As, including for high-profile spokespeople and corporate partners, if required 
• Develop and nurture close working relationships with journalists (especially those on features, women's, lifestyle, showbiz outlets) across print, digital and broadcast media - including a diverse range of outlets beyond mainstream media

About you

To be successful, it is important that you have:

• Significant operational experience in mass-market PR, as a print or broadcast journalist, or equivalent professional media communications experience
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and external contacts across diverse cultures, disciplines and time zones
• Solid experience developing and implementing PR campaigns for corporate clients, including cause-related events, co-branded marketing activity, global campaigns
• Excellent working knowledge of the media landscape – including national broadcast and press, women's, showbiz, tabloid and digital media – with a network of journalistic contacts.
• Excellent writing skills, including the ability to write and edit engaging copy for a range of audiences, across traditional and new mediums

A leading literacy charity is looking for a Finance Assistant to join its small, closeknit team. The charity empowers children, young people and adults from disadvantaged communities with the literacy skills they need to succeed. You will need to work from the office in Vauxhall at least one day per week, but can work from home the remainder of the week. Salary £25,000 - £28,000 per annum.

This is a permanent, full time role (35 hours per week). You will report to the Head of Finance and work closely with the other members in the Finance Team.

The post holder's main duties and responsibilities are:

• Undertake month-end bank reconciliations, monitor balances and make transfers when required
• Process bank transactions including depositing cheques
• Check bank receipts daily, matching to income expected and liaising with other departments as necessary to ensure they're coded correctly
• Take card payments over the phone, and work with the other finance team members to process cheques and cash
• Import sales invoices from our CRM system (Salesforce) into accounting system (Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central), and carry out reconciliations of income
• Chase outstanding debts and manage aged debtors, including working with the Head of Finance and department leads as necessary
• Process and input staff expenses
• Process and input purchase invoices, ensuring they're authorised and coded correctly
• Liaise with suppliers and be first point of contact for accounts payable queries
• Check and reconcile bank payments daily and liaise with other team members and other departments on managing payments
• Process payments to HMRC, and other ad hoc payments as required
• Prepare Gift Aid claims and submit to HMRC
• Support the audit process as required
