We are looking for an exceptional, value-driven candidate who can hit the ground running as our Legal Education Officer, working closely with the Director and the rest of our small and dynamic Right to Remain team.

The person must be someone who understands the Right to Remain ethos and is prepared to bring their whole self to our organisation. Needless to say, the role requires an impeccable grasp of the asylum and immigration system and its operation on the ground, including how it impacts our community of people seeking asylum, refugees, migrants, their families, friends and allies. It requires an ability to help and guide our community to navigate the complex and hostile asylum and immigration system.

You will be working closely with the Director and the rest of our small and dynamic Right to Remain staff team: another Legal Education Officer based in Leeds (generally) covering the North, the Organiser based in Manchester leading our mighty These Walls Must Fall, and the Engagement Officer based in London. In particular, the post holder will be closely coordinating their work with another Legal Education Officer in Leeds. The post holder is also expected to be already embedded in the local and regional asylum and migration field, familiar with its dynamics and able to tap into their existing relationships and connections with local groups and actors.

With the rest of the team, you will be responsible for maintaining, developing, and increasing usage of our highly popular and accessible resources about the asylum and immigration system, most notably the Right to Remain Toolkit. You will deliver interactive workshops on the legal system for people navigating that system as well as professionals and volunteers. You will engage with our network of community groups to ensure that we are apprised of developments on the ground and we are communicating important changes to these support groups. You will also work with the Director and other colleagues to develop and deliver specific public legal education projects, when necessary. You must have outstanding communication skills and the ability to engage with a wide range of audiences, in a manner that reflects Right to Remain’s mission and values.

The Democratic Progress Institute (DPI) is an independent non-governmental organisation established in consultation with international experts in conflict resolution and democratic advancement. DPI seeks to promote peace and democracy building through strengthened public dialogue and engagement.

Overall Purpose of the Position

The Head of Programmes is responsible for overseeing the implementation of the organisations’ project activities and leads the DPI Programmes team, also ensuring a close working relationship with Finance, Fundraising and Operations colleagues. The role works with the CEO on operational, fundraising, strategic and monitoring levels and also involves representing DPI at external meetings and events as needed.

Project Management

• Coordinates the day-to-day operational management of the DPI’s programmes, including the implementation of activities and financial matters– in close coordination with relevant colleagues.
• Monitors the implementation of project activities and ensures compliance with the strategic framework as well as internal procedures and policies including financial and administrative.
• Facilitates programmes and events meetings (including designing the agenda and overseeing the organisation and preparation of materials)
• Manages performance of programmes’ team both Türkiye and UK.
• Organises regular meetings with the Programmes team to ensure project plan is on -track.
• Keeps an up-to-date overview of programme delivery, reports any challenges, and suggests solutions to the CEO.
• Builds project budgets with Finance, monitors project expenditures, develops financial strategies and addresses financial challenges.
• Monitors the political and security situation in Türkiye and the wider regions, developments relating to the conflict and impact on the project.

Reporting

• Works closely with the Funding and Development Manager to ensure timely delivery and monitoring of contractual reports, including interim and final reports to donors.
• Ensures that projects are implemented and reported in a timely and qualitative manner.

· Follows up with the team and gathers the reporting of meetings.

· Oversees deliverables and performance of the M&EE and Communications consultants.

Network

• Represents and promotes DPI’s work in varied contexts and maintains relationships with external stakeholders in Türkiye and in Europe such as political party representatives.
• Builds and maintains relationships with partners and donors alongside the Funding and Development Manager when needed.
• Carries out frequent visits to Türkiye and maintains a good working knowledge of the facts on the ground when needed.

Project Development

• Translates strategy into operational objectives and develops project/fundraising proposals including concept notes and narrative project proposals in conjunction with Funding and Development Manager.
• Identifies operational developments needs and develops corresponding opportunities and initiatives.

· Supports the CEO in strategic developments related to the project.

Key Experience/Technical Competencies/Knowledge required for the position.

The successful candidate should have the following

§  A postgraduate degree in Political Science, Law, Conflict Resolution, International Relations, or a related discipline is highly desirable.

§  At least 8-10 years’ experience in project management in charity or NGO setting.

§  Experience directly managing a team including remotely.

§  Strong experience of EU funding streams, rules and regulations and knowledge of government grant processes

§  Strong organisational and planning skills.

§  Critical and strategic thinking skills.

§  Experience in research and complex information analysis.

§  Knowledge of Türkiye political situation (desirable).

The postholder will play a key role in advancing the communications, campaigns and public affairs work of Southall Black Sisters (SBS), strengthening the organisation’s public profile and amplifying its mission to end violence against women and girls (VAWG), particularly as it affects Black, minoritised and migrant women.

The postholder will play a key role in strengthening national, regional and local responses to violence against women and girls (VAWG) affecting Black, minoritised and migrant women. They will design, develop and deliver a high-quality, influential training programme for statutory agencies, voluntary sector organisations and other key stakeholders on VAWG, including domestic abuse, harmful practices such as ‘honour’-based abuse, force marriage, and related forms of gender-based violence.

The Executive Officer to CEO leads the effective running of the CEO’s office, providing strategic project management, coordination of leadership priorities, and hands-on delivery across strategy development, planning and governance.

This is a pivotal role within War Child, sitting at the heart of the organisation’s leadership and governance. Working closely with the CEO, Leadership Group, Chair and Board of Trustees, the Executive Officer to CEO plays a key role in enabling effective decision-making, organisational oversight and delivery of War Child’s ambitions for children.

Reporting to the CEO and acting as a trusted representative of their office, you will be an energetic, highly organised self-starter with the judgement and confidence to balance strategic coordination with high-quality executive support. The role combines project leadership, organisational planning and culture-focused initiatives with hands-on executive assistance.

As Company Secretary, you will also support excellence in governance by ensuring War Child meets its statutory and regulatory obligations, including compliance and reporting to the Charity Commission, Companies House and the Fundraising Regulator.

Fundraising and Development:

About the Role
Fundraising and philanthropic advocacy are at the heart of GiveOut’s work. As Philanthropy Coordinator, you will be a key member of the Philanthropy team, supporting our philanthropy programme and working closely with the Head of Philanthropy and Senior Philanthropy Officers.

You will have responsibilities in three main areas: helping with internal programme coordination, supporting colleagues on key donor relationships and fundraising, and events.

Key Responsibilities

• Internal Programme & Team Coordination

  • Manage calendars, schedule internal meetings, help bring together agendas, book meeting rooms, and take minutes where required

  • Help maintain internal documents & systems such as fundraising pipeline, internal reporting and project management tools.

  • Maintain database to ensure accurate donor information in GiveOut’s CRM 

  • Coordinate monthly finance reconciliation tasks for Philanthropy Team

• A track record of delivering tangible outcomes in advocacy, public affairs, particularly within the UK Government and Parliament, ideally within an international development and/or humanitarian context.

At Young Roots, we want to see a compassionate and welcoming society for young people seeking safety. We work alongside young refugees and asylum seekers in the UK, building trusted relationships, providing practical and emotional support and promoting young people's rights and power. 

Our youth hubs and casework are transformative for young refugees, enabling young people who have fled danger, experienced traumatic journeys, and are often here alone to find community and connection, a space to be a young person, and access support to address a range of practical challenges they face. We also draw on our evidence from working every day with young refugees and asylum seekers to call for change to the laws and policies which are harming young people. 

About the role

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced finance professional to play a vital role in ensuring Young Roots can continue delivering life-changing support to young people seeking safety.

As our Finance Lead*, you'll be a senior finance professional providing day-to-day financial leadership, ensuring financial operations run smoothly while translating complex financial data into accessible insights that empower our teams and leadership to make informed decisions. Supported by an experienced Head of Finance and Internal Operations, you'll lead on month-end processes and statutory accounts, cash flow forecasting and funder reporting, supporting strong financial controls and effective use of systems.

An excellent opportunity for a finance professional looking to take a leading role, this isn't just number-crunching – you'll be a trusted finance partner, working collaboratively across the organisation to support effective budget management, shape future initiatives, and ultimately help us maximise our impact for young refugees and asylum seekers.

The role requires proven experience in charity finance, including independently managing month-end processes and grant funding. You'll need an accounting qualification (AAT Level 4, full- or part-qualified ACCA/CIMA, or equivalent by experience) and hands-on experience with accounting systems such as Xero, Sage, or QuickBooks.

Most importantly, we're looking for someone who can work with the Head of Finance and Internal Operations to communicate financial information in ways that make sense to non-finance audiences and is motivated by supporting our mission.

About the role

The post holder will be responsible for developing and maintaining effective administrative systems and supporting the successful running of Freedom from Torture’s Legal Advice and Welfare Service.

The LAWs team has immigration and welfare advisors in Freedom from Torture’s London and Glasgow. Whilst this role is based in the London centre, the post-holder will provide support to LAWS advisors in both centres.

About you

You will have experience of working in an administrative role, and experience of developing and maintaining effective administrative systems. You will have excellent attention to detail and effectively proof-read reports, manage spreadsheets and collate and report on complex data. As well as effective communication skills, you will be proactive, organised and able to prioritise. An understanding of the issues affecting asylum seekers, refugees and/or survivors of torture, and experience in working in a legal, clinical or medical setting would be an advantage.

In return, we offer a competitive package, with a generous 30-day annual leave entitlement (pro-rata), and 6% employer pension contribution (minimum 1% employee contribution).

Pregnant Then Screwed (PTS) is the leading charity working to end the motherhood penalty. The Role

Pregnant Then Screwed’s Tribunal Mentor Programme is a peer-to-peer support service for women and parents taking legal action against an employer for pregnancy and maternity discrimination. We match mentees with volunteer mentors who have been through the Employment Tribunal process themselves for 12 weeks of support through weekly calls. We relaunched the programme in October 2025, and now, with funding from The National Lottery, we are looking for a part time Support Services Coordinator to help us grow and maintain new mentoring matches. 

As the Support Services Coordinator, you will be responsible for recruiting and inducting mentees and volunteers onto the programme and supporting matches throughout their journey. You’ll also drive engagement with the programme, and develop recruitment strategies for potential volunteers and mentees. 

Responsibilities:

• Coordinating the Tribunal Mentor Programme and volunteers. 

• Welcoming new mentee and mentor applicants to the programme through 121 and group calls. 

• Recruitment and engagement of new volunteers and participants. 

• Monitoring our Community WhatsApp groups and responding to enquiries.

• Hosting regularly mentor and mentee online check-ins.

• Researching further support and signposting options for mentees.

• General administrative tasks, including managing volunteer and mentoring data, supporting the Head of Support Services with reporting data and responding to general enquiries. 

• Supporting our Head of Support Services with volunteer training, policy and process development. 

• Supporting other Support Services projects where necessary.

Essential Skills & Experience

• Volunteer engagement - demonstrated through experience managing or coordinating volunteers.
• Diversity, equity and inclusion focus, able to demonstrate a deep understanding of (and confidence in discussing) anti-oppression. 
• Engaging written and verbal communication skills - demonstrated through a proven ability to craft engaging newsletters, social posts or discussion prompts.
• Mentee and mentor growth and retention - demonstrated through experience in growing and sustaining a befriending or mentoring programme (or transferable skills from other types of service user engagement)
• Technologically proficient and confident - demonstrated through experience using Beacon or other CRM systems and digital work tools.

What We Offer 

• Flexible working is embedded in our culture with employees working different hours, and days of the week. 

• 34 days annual leave, including statutory bank holidays. This is pro-rata for part-time staff. 

• Paid leave between Christmas Day and New Year’s Day.

• Two paid ‘Wellbeing Days’. These are days that can be booked off with no notice and no questions asked.
