About the Sanctuary and the Role

The Sanctuary is a non-clinical, safe space for individuals to visit as an alternative to attending A&E and is part of the wider First Response Service across Cambridgeshire and Peterborough.

• Provide individuals with information on and how to connect with social support networks available to them in their own community.

Key Responsibilities

· Co-lead and develop your team in partnership with the Service Manager in delivering recovery-focused, high-quality, safe and person-centred care, delivering great outcomes for people using services.

· Informing the future direction and development of the Swindon Wellbeing Services including working closely with Directors and Commissioners internally and externally of the organisation.

· Champion innovation and co-lead the implementation of enhancements to services, and support the implementation of change, best practice and continuous improvement.

· Establish effective working relationships with key referrers including the Primary Care Networks and Secondary Care Services in your locality, facilitating meaningful two-way dialogue with key stakeholders.

· Understand and build upon local assets and resources, to enable holistic and flexible place-based support structures that are responsive to local needs.

· Ensure all staff are supported and developed through on-the-job coaching, individual supervision, group supervision and appraisals, identifying and promptly addressing learning and development needs.

· Produce regular outcome reports demonstrating the effectiveness of the service and highlighting gaps in provision.

· To be involved with the recruitment of new staff including participating on the interview panel and leading on the inductions of new Swindon staff.

· To oversee the recruitment of volunteers, including participating on the interview panel and leading the induction.

· The role will include being on call based on a rota system to provide support to staff in services across Swindon & Gloucestershire Mind when required.

· To attend meetings in relation to the Sanford House building and meetings relating to contracts.

· To conduct risk assessments in relation to service areas, ensuring the services are using the Mental Health Triage Scale effectively and appropriately

· To investigate any incidents reported by staff or people accessing services and follow up with recorded outcomes following S&G Mind policies and procedures

· To explore complaints made to the Swindon SBC wellbeing contract and follow the relevant procedures and policies.

· To undertake investigations in line with relevant policies e.g., complaints policy, HR investigations.

· To ensure all staff are assessing risk and that risk is managed appropriately in line with the persons needs and the policies/procedures of the service.

Job Title: Solicitor / Senior Caseworker

North Wales Community Law is a charity established in 2023 that provides free legal advice to people in North Wales. We have a small team of caseworkers and we want to grow our team to enable us to support more people. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who wants to contribute to our vision to make sure that everyone in North Wales has access to the services and expertise they need to uphold their rights, fight inequality and challenge injustice.

We are looking for a solicitor or experienced caseworker to provide specialist housing or family law casework and advice under the supervision of our Legal Services Director. Based in our offices in Llandudno Junction, the role will involve regular travel to community based outreach clinics in North Wales, particularly Gwynedd and Ynys Mon.

We are particularly keen to hear from people with experience of relevant Welsh housing legislation and qualified solicitors with experience of legally aided civil litigation.

Duties

• To provide legal advice and casework assistance and give appropriate advice and support to clients, managing your own caseload and making applications for public funding as required.
• To liaise with landlords’ and other parties’ representatives, solicitors, other agencies and groups as required.
• To ensure that all casework, advice, and assistance complies with the requirements of the organisation’s processes, accreditations and, where publicly funded, complies with the requirements of the Legal Aid Agency.
• To collate evidence and work in partnership with other advice providers locally and regionally to influence the development of policy and legislation in relation to housing and domestic abuse.
• To undertake outreach work, including liaising with local communities, delivering talks and presentations to groups, and visiting community settings as appropriate. Work from various locations as reasonably required.
• To inform and participate in our public legal education work, to promote North Wales Community Law and a rights-respecting culture in north Wales.
• To actively engage with local community groups and organisations, bringing together our experience, skills and knowledge with that of others, sharing learning wherever possible.
• To prepare reports on your own work for the information of the Trustee Board, funders and other stakeholders, as required.
• To actively contribute to internal meetings, including cascading learning.
• To attend appropriate training courses and maintain readership of relevant publications to maintain and develop professional expertise.

• Experience of delivering housing or family law advice and complex casework - advising and supporting clients through the legal system
• Ability to manage a busy caseload, working under pressure and meeting deadlines.
• Experience of legal aid processes, meeting financial targets and time recording requirements using case management systems.

Hamelin is seeking a passionate, self-motivated and confident coordinator to support our expanding Ability Works project. In this diverse role, you'll play a pivotal part in ensuring our individuals meet their goals and create a lasting impact in our communities as well as being the first point of call for new individuals accessing the service.

Ability Works - This initiative focuses on enabling adults with learning disabilities and autistic people to gain meaningful and fulfilling paid employment. The project thrives on outcomes, motivation and a can-do approach.

This role is crucial in making sure we deliver exceptional service, stay compliant, and run our project efficiently— whilst ensuring our mission, vision and values are not compromised. 

The Employment Support Coordinator will regularly meet with participants to listen, offer support and help them identify their best job match, reflecting their skills and aspirations.

In your day-to-day role, you will be striving to build, expand and strengthen the project whilst working closely with the Employment Manager to ensure all key performance indicators and any project targets are met. The role is responsible for onboarding individuals into the project as well as delivering face-to-face mentoring, work experience in and outdoors and coaching.

Project Skills:

• Support with the daily operations of the project scope.
• Supporting individuals through CV production, profiling, interview techniques, attending interviews, workshops, job clubs and managing their health at work.
• Adhere to the strategies to grow and enhance the projects, meeting the ever-changing needs of those we support.
• Identify skills gaps for participants and offer Asdan short courses to support development.
• Building relationships with community partners including DWP, Social Care and prescribers, and other charities and government organisations to gain referrals for the project.

About You

• Be ready to work flexibly, which could include weekends and bank holidays. You might also be asked to work in different services as needed.

Join Sutton Nightwatch and help us raise vital funds to support and raise awareness for the homeless people within the London Borough of Sutton and surrounding areas. You’ll lead on strategy, grow donor relationships, and deliver ambitious fundraising targets that directly transform lives.

Sutton Night Watch is a registered charity which was set up to support and raise awareness for the homeless people within the London Borough of Sutton and surrounding areas.

Over the past 10 years, with the support of local business, the local community and fundraising efforts, we have been able to grow and expand into our own, permanent base in December 2019.  From here we are able to not only provide the essentials such as food, showers and clothing supplies, but we are able to also offer our service users a range of health services, benefit advice, wellbeing and educational based courses, clothes, washing facilities and most importantly, a place where people are seen, heard and understood. We also support people to find secure accommodation. In the past 3 months we have found homes for 13 people.

Job Purpose:

The Fundraising Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing fundraising strategies to secure financial support for the organization.

Our annual fundraising target is set at c250k (cash income) plus additional targets for in-kind donations, preloved donations and donated services. These support the growth and sustainability of our operations, ensuring we can continue to provide essential items and services to local people experiencing homelessness.

This role involves managing donor relationships, coordinating fundraising campaigns, organizing events, and ensuring income targets are met to sustain and grow the charity’s mission.

Fundraising Strategy & Planning

The role of the EIC is to deliver and support children and young people through one- to- one direct work, small group sessions and signposting to specialist services. These interventions will be delivered across a network of secondary schools in the Runnymede, Surrey Heath and Waverley areas.

1. Design, deliver and review evidence-based interventions for children and young people which aim to improve mental health and well-being and build on existing strengths

• Assess the needs and strengths of the referred young person and help them identify individual goals to achieve desired change (Goal Based Outcome Assessments).

• Manage own caseload of children and young people facing a wide range of issues, in both one to one and group settings, to address emerging needs and help build resilience, develop coping strategies and improve their mental health & wellbeing.

• Provide advice, guidance and signposting to young people and their families, that will connect them to resources that will support young people’s wellbeing.

2. Develop and maintain relationships with key school staff in secondary schools and Schools Based Needs Team

We are seeking a creative and proactive Communications and Marketing Coordinator to play a pivotal role in telling Theatres Trust’s story, and the stories of the theatres we support, to a wider audience.

Working with the Head of Communications and Marketing, you will support the development and delivery of Theatres Trust’s communications strategy and contribute to embedding our brand and tone of voice across all our communications. A central part of the role will be working with our sector specialists to turn complex, detailed and technical information into compelling case studies to promote our services and highlight our impact to key stakeholders across the theatre sector and beyond.

You will be responsible for producing two of Theatres Trust’s key communications products: Theatres Magazine, our digital publication for supporters, and NewsDigest, our monthly e-newsletter, as well as helping to develop our social and digital channels. Do you have a strong grasp of UK tax regulations, a passion for compliance, and a desire to use your skills for a greater purpose? 

We are seeking an experienced Tax Accountant to join our Finance team, supporting the Head of Global Controllers and Deputy Financial Controller in ensuring charity tax compliance across the organisation. 
 
Key responsibilities would include:

• Preparation and submission of VAT and Corporation Tax returns
• Providing expert tax advice and design - Monitoring tax developments and advising teams and senior leaders on complex charity tax matters
• Maintaining and reviewing tax processes and systems

You will be a Chartered Tax Advisor or a qualified accountant with experience of partial exemption and reverse charge VAT and of providing tax advice in the charity sector.

Hybrid Working: This role is eligible for hybrid working and you will be required to work from the Teddington Tearfund office at least 2 days a month. 
 
Please note: This is a part time role working 21 hours per week. The full time salary is £51,460 per annum and the part time salary is £30,876 per annum.
