About the Role:
As Head of Learning, you’ll lead Baytree’s adult education team—designing and delivering high-quality ESOL, literacy, and personal development programmes that empower women to thrive. Key Responsibilities:
Curriculum Leadership:
Design relevant and impactful adult education programmes, oversee learner recruitment and progression, and ensure safeguarding and wellbeing across all learning activities.
Quality Assurance:
Implement robust quality improvement processes, conduct teaching observations, and prepare for audits and inspections from funders and regulatory bodies.
Team Management:
Lead and develop a team of tutors and administrators, foster a nurturing and high-performance culture, and supervise volunteers supporting the education service.
Contract & Funder Management:
Manage relationships with Lambeth Adult Learning Services and other funders, ensuring delivery against KPIs and producing high-quality reports and proposals.
Cross-Service Collaboration:
Work closely with other Baytree teams and external partners to align services, share best practice, and strengthen learner progression pathways.

St Martin-in-the-Fields Charity (SMITFC) is looking for a strategic, relationship-driven Trusts and Foundations Manager to help shape the future of our income generation from charitable trusts and foundations. This is a pivotal role within our Philanthropy, Trusts and Foundations Team, working to ensure that we not only maintain but significantly grow our sustainable income streams in support of people experiencing homelessness and extreme vulnerability.
Working alongside the Philanthropy Manager and Prospect Researcher, this role will be responsible for identifying and securing new 5-6 figure+ gifts, maintaining and deepening engagement with our existing funding partners and developing a pipeline of future funding opportunities designed to spread risk and build for a reliable, realistic income growth over time.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will:
- Work with the Head of Philanthropy, Trusts and Foundations (P&TF) to develop the Charity’s Trust and Foundations growth strategy ensuring it maximises sustainable net income from both general and restricted Trust and Foundation funding sources, diversifies income and starts to spread income timelines away from a reliance on our Christmas appeal period.
- Work collaboratively across the charity to acquire an excellent knowledge and understanding of SMITFC values and programmes, to inform the creation of bespoke donor materials, cases for support, funding proposals and reports.
- Lead on the creation and submission of bespoke proposals and reports to existing Trusts and Foundations, maintaining accurate development and submission deadlines and excellent records of progress and outcomes on CRM.
- Lead on the cultivation and maintenance of strong relationships with existing funders and trustees, identifying opportunities for key decision makers to become active and engaged in the Charity’s activities, whilst gaining a greater understanding of a project’s long term aims and consequent impact.
- Work in collaboration with the Prospect Researcher to develop a pipeline of new 5-6 figure + Trusts and Foundations prospects able to give within the next 3 years.
- Lead on the bespoke stewardship and engagement of newly identified 5-6 figure + Trusts and Foundations prospects and ensure that submission deadlines are met, and reporting schedules observed.
- Work with the P&TF team to deliver our annual Christmas Appeal – to include the development of the P&TF Christmas Appeal 2025, deliver the annual Christmas Appeal Launch event, and optimize the use of social medial and other platforms to reach potential new funders over the Christmas period and beyond.
- Work with the P&TF team to develop the high value offering for the 100 Anniversary appeal 2026.
- Ensure that resources and budgets are managed effectively and provide Trust and Foundation fundraising financial information as required by the Head of P&TF – including contributing to income risk assessments, identifying gaps or shifts in funding and support contingency planning with the wider P&TF team.
- Ensure accurate records of funding opportunities, donor contact details and prospect research are maintained across CRM and finance systems.
- Work collaboratively with SMITF partner charities to align stewardship, donor asks and maximise income.
Experience and Skills
We are looking for someone who has:
- A positive, collaborative, creative mindset, who likes working as a part of high functioning team and enjoys building relationships across an organisation whilst having the confidence and autonomy to drive things forward and advocate for doing things differently.
- A strong record of securing and managing major Trust and Foundation partnerships, including six-figure grants.
- Demonstrable experience of building tailored cases for support to a range of funders
- Experience of collaborating with internal teams in the creation of funding proposals and reports.
- Experience engaging with senior stakeholders, including trustees and high-level volunteers.
- Experience of balancing managing relationships with high value funders, managing expectations and negotiating challenges.
- Experience of optimizing prospect research to identify and develop a funding pipeline
- Experience of optimising CRM systems to help monitor and report on fundraising activity.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, with a proven ability to produce persuasive proposals.
- Experience of managing multiple deadlines and a varied, demanding workload.
- Sound knowledge of fundraising from Trusts and Foundations and current sector trends

We are seeking an individual to undertake the dual role of promoting the profile of the RAF Benevolent Funds welfare offer, whilst also carrying out welfare casework. This is a community-based position working from home but covering the South East of England, East Sussex, West Sussex, Surrey, Kent and Essex.
Post holders will be expected to undertake holistic assessment of need both remotely (over the telephone and online) and when required in person across their region. You will be expected to work with individuals who may have complex and sometimes challenging welfare needs, assisting them by identifying appropriate support from within both the RAF Benevolent Fund and the wider statutory and military charity sector, ensuring that support is made available to meet their need through the case working process.
The successful candidate will have experience of working in a social welfare role supporting individuals and will have strong people and relationship-building skills, as well as empathy with or understanding of issues affecting the Armed Forces community.
This is home based and the candidate must have their own vehicle for use of traveling around the region covered. Occasional travel to London will be required. The successful candidate for this role will need to be Enhanced DBS checked and prove they have the right to work in the UK.

The purpose of the Transport and Physical Activity Lead is to work in partnership with the four Transport Teams across the Black Country to integrate physical activity into Transport planning and delivery.
The role will focus on supporting the implementation of the Black Country Walking and Cycling Infrastructure Plan (BC LCWIP), ensuring localised improvements are considered further to ensure connectivity between communities and the active travel infrastructure being delivered.
The role will have responsibility for developing understanding of the walking and cycling landscape and community need.
The role will understand how the BC LCWIP needs to be able to capitalise on both available and emerging funding opportunities to help deliver the cycling and walking vision for the area. The funding, however, is not only limited to the delivery of infrastructure but also to ensuring the right resources and skills are in place to support local activation.
Main Duties
1. Be the lead advocate for the integration of physical activity with Black Country Transport to decrease physical inactivity and support health, environmental and economic outcomes.
2. Drive approaches to place-based work with local partners to support a whole system approach to integrating physical activity into transport policy & services.
3. Lead the development of high-quality relationships which enable a collaborative focus on local transport assets, interventions, initiatives, programmes and activities which create opportunities for people to be active and tackle physical inactivity.
4. Work with appointed strategic and learning leads respectively alongside other suppliers on the Sport England recognised ‘Place Based’ investment in the Black Country.
5. Work with transport leads from the four Black Country authorities to develop understanding of local people & communities, the needs, opportunities, and challenges of communities to be active and how this understanding can be used to strengthen partnerships and yield influence to integrate services.
6. Coordinate the development of Local Cycling & Walking Infrastructure plans (LCWIP) that support the implementation of local priorities to improve outcomes and tackle inequalities in physical activity levels.
7. Establish and/or maintain effective multi-partner place networks and related forums to support connectivity of assets across the Black Country landscape particularly the canal infrastructure to influence co-design opportunities for walking and cycling.
8. Provide regular reports as required on the progress of the implementation of programmes, in line with established key performance indicators.
9. Working to the Monitoring Evaluation and Learning Framework to extract learnings and share good practice.
10. Ensuring compliance at all times with contract management, procurement and finance procedures.

About this key role
Our successful candidate will provide operational management support across one or more contracts awarded by the HMPPS to deliver Finance, Benefit and Debt (FBD) services in Wales. You will provide person-centred support to a caseload of service users, who will either be serving community sentences or have been released from prison, and provide leadership and operational management support in debt and welfare benefits to a team of Financial Wellbeing Coaches (FWCs) and Peer Advisor volunteers employed in the delivery of the contracts.
We will also rely on you to set performance objectives with FWCs and monitor progress, monitor and manage all aspects of delivery and performance to ensure compliance with policy and procedures, and to develop and maintain a strong working relationship with local Wales Probation managers and staff as well as other external stakeholders. Managing partnerships and ensuring there is a safe and trusting working environment for staff are also vital aspects of the role.
What we are looking for
- Experience of working in or managing services supporting challenging people, for example people who have complex needs and those who are reluctant to discuss their needs
- Experience of working in or managing multi-agency partnerships working towards common objectives and outcomes
- Evidence of training at specialist level in money and/or welfare benefits advice
- Higher level certificate in money and/or welfare benefit advice from accreditation providers
- Wide range of money advice knowledge, budgeting, dealing with priority and non-priority debts, County Court/High Court options, insolvency options and a range of welfare benefits
- Ability to coach and mentor staff to motivate and facilitate optimum performance in a team
- Excellent interpersonal, relationship-building, and communication skills, both verbal and written.

Respect is seeking one Helpline Advisor to provide support to male victims of domestic abuse on the Men’s Advice Line and perpetrators of domestic abuse on the Respect Phoneline.
You will support service users by phone, email and webchat, providing emotional support, practical advice, information on the available options, and signposting to other services. As well as work with male victims and perpetrators of domestic abuse in ways that support them to increase safety and reduce harm, as described in the Models of Work and relevant policies and procedures.
About you:
- An understanding of the nature of domestic abuse and its effects on victims, in particular male victims
- An understanding of the help-seeking barriers for male victims of domestic abuse
- An understanding of the reasons why perpetrators use abusive behaviours towards partners in relationships
