The Donmar has an exceptional ability to raise private funds, and the vital importance of fundraising is recognised across the organisation and embedded in the overall strategy. Each year we raise around half our income through fundraising from a varied number of sources, with corporate income representing around a third of the fundraised income. The Development team is led by the Director of Strategic Development and Fundraising, and comprises 11 people.

Purpose of role

The Head of Corporate Partnerships will join the Development department at a time of rapid and exciting growth for the team, with a remit to lead a high achieving and ambitious team of three to achieve significant revenue targets through partnerships and sponsorships, oversee a successful corporate masterclass programme and research and implement new opportunities to generate revenue.

Duties and Responsibilities

Partnerships and Sponsorships 

• Work alongside the Head of Philanthropy and Head of Trusts and Events to deliver the Donmar’s Development strategy in line with the wider Organizational strategy and following our core Donmar values.
• Lead the Corporate Development team to maximise revenue from corporate partnerships and the Donmar’s growing corporate masterclass programme. 
• Report to and work closely with the Director of Strategic Development and Fundraising to set ambitious yet realistic annual targets for the corporate team. 
• Lead on new business, personally generating significant income through identifying prospective new corporate partners and delivering effective cultivation strategies, including engaging appropriate members of the Board and Development Committee. 
• Take a commercial approach to income generation at the Donmar, identifying and developing new opportunities for further growth. 
• Exploring new partnerships models in collaboration with our Partners, co-creating projects and being excited about change and innovation.
• Lead on the account management of the Donmar’s major Partners.
• Manage a diverse portfolio of other partners and sponsors contributing to meeting corporate fundraising targets, including ensuring renewal or upgrade. 
• Ensure that the Donmar’s corporate partners are receiving the highest quality of service from the Corporate and wider Development team, and other Donmar staff members.
• Manage and report against income budgets for Corporate support, working closely with the Finance team on monthly forecasting of income.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships across the organisation to ensure the ability to identify opportunities for new partnership support.
• Ensure the efficient administration of the Corporate function (including contractual compliance, data management and adherence to all Donmar policies).
• Lead and support at relevant Corporate cultivation and stewardship events.

Line Management

• Effectively line manage and nurture the Senior Corporate Development Manager, ensuring that their work is delivered to the highest standard and that financial targets are met. 
• Oversee the professional growth of the Corporate team ensuring everyone works to the best of their ability, collaboratively, and upholding Donmar values.

Person Specification

Essential

• Significant senior experience of managing corporate partnerships in house, ideally in the performing arts, heritage or higher education sector. 
• Demonstrable success in securing six figure partnerships from a range of sectors. 
• An experienced and strong relationship manager, with demonstrable ability to retain and grow partnerships. 
• Experience of developing new commercial opportunities to generate earned income.
• An entrepreneurial and proactive approach to identifying opportunities for corporate partnerships.

Summary

The Cathedral and Church Buildings Department supports the care and sustainable development of the Church of England's 42 cathedrals and 16,000 church buildings, of which 12,500 are listed, to help fulfil the vision and strategy of the Church of England. It also supports dioceses with the disposal of church buildings no longer required for worship and finding them a new future. Through advice, guidance, advocacy and fundraising, we provide strategic support on conservation and caring for historic church buildings, making change to support worship and communities, and working towards Net Zero Carbon 2030. Buildings Council is a statutory body responsible for advising Chancellors, dioceses and parishes on faculty applications.

The Church Buildings Officer will be responsible for the production of reports summarising the history and significance of church buildings and assessing the impact of proposed changes. You will also provide general guidance and advice at diocesan and local level.

As a team player the role holder will be a responsible case-worker, able to provide expert advice on proposals, having assessed the significance and needs of church buildings, balancing them with the impact on the historic church. What you do
Administration
You will support the whole organisation with a range of administrative tasks

Cover Support
You may be asked to provide cover on the front of desks of one of our sites:
Cancer Support Centre, Northumberland Road, our Charity Hub, Whitham Road
or Cavendish Centre, Wilkinson Street which will include:
 Meeting and greeting visitors including supporters and patients and acting as
their first point of contact for any queries.
 Dealing with telephone, email and postal enquiries across the organisation
 During cover period, you may be required to open and close the patient
spaces, as part of a wider team rota.
 Booking in and logging patients onto the relevant records and databases to
provide accurate data.
 Sending appointment reminder calls/texts/letters to clients as required.
 Co-ordinating the Transport service, including supporting and co-ordinating
the volunteer drivers.
 Managing the consumables within this patient space and ordering

Centre 33 is an ambitious and growing charity based across Cambridgeshire and Peterborough. We offer a range of high-quality services to young people aged up to 25, including information and support on a “drop in” basis, mental health services, counselling, housing and financial advice, sexual health support and support for young carers.

This is an exciting opportunity to join our established ‘Someone to Talk to’ service in a Team Lead role.  The Team Lead will manage and oversee a team of staff and volunteers supporting young people across Centre 33’s two hubs in our South Locality – in Cambridge City and Ely. The Team Lead will work closely with the other Team Leads and Heads of Service to jointly ensure our multidisciplinary teams deliver excellent, safe, impactful and responsive services to young people.

We are looking for a highly motivated professional with experience working within a practical support, youth work or mental health role, and with experience of managing people.  The Team Lead will bring strong expertise and leadership to Centre 33’s holistic support offer for young people aged 13-25 years: our open-access drop-in, ongoing support around practical needs such as housing, and flexible mental health support. They will be responsible for providing support with case allocation, case management, reflective practice, risk management and Safeguarding. They will provide day-to-day designated Safeguarding leadership, supported by the Head of Service and Director of Services.  They will develop strong relationships with local organisations to ensure effective joint working and support for young people.  This role may deliver ad hoc case work to support young people with more complex needs but will not hold an ongoing regular case load.

The hours of work for this role are predominantly within core opening hours of 10 to 6pm, with some evening/Saturday working based on a rota. Due to our service delivery, it is important that the Team Lead is available for hub-based work during our core working hours.

The Opportunity

Our Membership Platform supports the College membership functions to make a difference to the lives of over 3.6 million children taught by our members. It is used to track, manage and support our members to access their benefits.

We are recruiting a Ruby Developer within the Service Operations team to manage our membership platform and provide support to users who access it. During the contract you will:

• Monitor and resolve any issues arising with the platform.
• Manage and maintain the platform so it remains operational. 
• Work closely with the Head of Data and Digital to successfully transform and move the current data and services to a new platform built on Salesforce.
• Support membership operations with reporting, payment and refund requests.

This would be an ideal opportunity to work on a project to move our data and processes from a Ruby platform to Salesforce which will move the College’s processes forward to ensure a strong future. In this role you will: 

• have autonomy for maintaining and managing our existing membership platform;

• help to grow the professional membership organisation for the teaching profession and be  part of the team driving the organisation forward at an exciting time for the future of the College.

Platform Management and Maintenance

Most of the time, you will be managing the membership platform, fixing any bugs, keeping the server up to date, ensuring stability, and providing reports to various stakeholders within the College.  You will also provide support to the membership team with refund requests through GoCardless and Stripe.

Data and Process Transition

You will spend some of your time working with the Head of Data and Digital to move all relevant membership data and processes over to Salesforce.  This will entail preparing data in the correct format and providing support to move automated processes over to the new system.

This role will be prison-based.
