Hearing Dogs for Deaf People – High Value Events Manager
Location:Hybrid working with some travel to Hearing Dogs offices in either Buckinghamshire or East Yorkshire.

Hearing Dogs for Deaf People, whose mission is build confidence, companionship and connection for people with hearing loss, is seeking a High Value Events Manager to help create inclusive, inspiring and impactful high-value event experiences that deepen relationships and generate transformational philanthropic support for the charity.

Hearing Dogs for Deaf People has been creating life-changing partnerships between hearing dogs and deaf recipients since 1982. As well as acting as an ear to their partners and alerting them to sounds, the charity’s clever and expertly trained dogs help deaf people to live life with confidence and independence, whilst providing love and emotional support.

Following on from a strategic review, the charity is now building a new Income Generation Directorate, to enable them to transform many more lives across the UK. This role will be critical to help Hearing Dogs reach their goals to significantly grow and diversify income.

This role will be part of a newly built High Value Events function and will develop, manage and deliver a portfolio of high‑value engagement and fundraising events that advance the charity’s strategic priorities and long‑term sustainability. Working closely with the High Value Event Team Manager and collaborating across Income Generation and wider teams, the postholder will create values‑led, relationship‑driven events that celebrate impact, inspire generosity and deepen connections with major donors, trusts, foundations, corporate partners and senior volunteers. They will ensure each event is thoughtfully planned, mission‑focused, inclusive and delivers strong return on investment, while strengthening long‑term philanthropic commitment to Hearing Dogs for Deaf People’s life‑changing work.

This role requires a proven track record in planning and delivering high‑value fundraising or engagement events generating £100k+, alongside experience working with major donors, high‑net‑worth individuals, committees and senior stakeholders. The ideal candidate will bring strong stewardship‑led fundraising expertise, excellent relationship management skills and a history of meeting income targets while maximising return on investment. Outstanding organisation, project management and communication abilities are essential, as is the confidence to engage and influence high‑profile supporters. Personally, the postholder will be a collaborative, inclusive and proactive team player with strong interpersonal skills, a creative and solutions‑focused mindset, and a genuine passion for Hearing Dogs for Deaf People’s mission, able to communicate impact in a compelling and inspiring way.

Main Responsibilities:

Office & Administrative Operations

We’re looking for a creative, data‑savvy, and supporter‑focused Individual Giving Manager to play a key role in developing and growing our individual giving programme. This is a fantastic opportunity to build inspiring donor journeys, craft compelling campaigns, and help shape how we engage our wonderful community of supporters.

As part of our friendly and growing Fundraising & Communications team, you’ll be contributing to meaningful, high‑impact work every day. Your ideas will be valued, your voice heard, and your creativity encouraged as we prepare to launch our new five‑year strategy in 2026.

Key responsibilities include:

• Strategy & Programme Development
  • Develop and deliver an annual Individual Giving strategy aligned with Cherry Trees’ organisational and fundraising goals.
  • Plan and manage a programme of multi‑channel campaigns (email, mail, social, digital ads, direct mail) to acquire, retain, and upgrade donors. Grow regular giving income using targeted campaigns and personalised communications.
• Donor Stewardship & Engagement
  • Oversee donor journeys that inspire, thank, and update supporters, ensuring excellent supporter experience at all touchpoints.
  • Develop segmented, insight-driven communications that speak to donor motivations. Manage in‑memory, ensuring sensitive and supportive engagement.
• Campaign Delivery
  • Lead on seasonal and one-off appeals, including the Christmas Big Give Challenge and seasonal campaigns.
  • Write compelling fundraising copy for emails, newsletters, social media, and print. - Work with colleagues in Communications, Services, and Finance to gather stories, monitor outcomes, and ensure consistent messaging.
• Data, Reporting & Insight
  • Use CRM data to segment audiences, track ROI, and analyse donor behaviour.
  • Produce regular performance reports, forecasting, and recommendations for improvement.
  • Ensure GDPR compliance and best practice in data handling.
• Budget & Income Management
  • Manage and monitor the Individual Giving budget, setting clear KPI targets.
  • Deliver strong year‑on‑year growth and maintain accurate forecasting.
  • Manage relationships with suppliers such as mail houses, designers, and digital agencies.
• Cross‑Team Collaboration
  • Work closely with the wider Fundraising team to support integrated campaigns and events.
  • Contribute to the development of supporter journeys across all income streams. - Represent Individual Giving at internal meetings and when engaging with external stakeholders.

You’ll be confident using CRM data and analysis to inform strategy, and working alongside our communications team, you’ll enjoy creating compelling fundraising content from email journeys to campaign appeals, that motivates supporters to give.

You will excel in creating engaging supporter journeys and developing compelling fundraising propositions. Be strong in budget management, campaign evaluation skills, and familiarity with CRM systems are essential. 

Supporter Experience Officer

Job Purpose

To provide excellent supporter experience and donor stewardship, and to ensure efficient and accurate processing of fundraised income.

Responsible For

Day-to-day responsibility for supporter care of fundraising audiences – managing enquiries through phone, post  and online. Responsible for income processing onto the CRM of all donations. And supporting the portfolio in providing excellent supporter experience to retain supporters for the long-term.

Key Accountabilities

• Manage incoming post and communications from supporters and potential supporters, responding to queries within the SLA in a friendly, supporter-focussed manner.
• Income processing of all donations and month-end reconciliation, ensuring all information relating is accurate on the database.
• Manage administration of gift aid processes including scanning declarations and adding to the fundraising database.
• Manage administration of online giving platforms such as Just Giving, CAF and GoFundMe.
• Working to support the development and delivery of the Audience Journey Project.
• Ensure high quality of communications with all audiences at all times.
• Maintain knowledge of and develop all products offered by thefundraising team and identify areas where cross promotion can beutilised.

Quality, Compliance and Safety

• Supporting the Fundraising team to maintain the quality and integrity of fundraising data and work in partnership with the Database Officer to maintain and develop an effective database.
• Perform duties in line with Fundraising Code, GDPR and Hft’s Policies and Procedures.
• Adhere to and maintain Hft’s Health and Safety policies, standards and guidelines at all 
times.

Relationships

• Work with the wider team to support individuals and organisations in their fundraising activities, providing them with the materials, equipment and advice they need to maximise the success of their fundraising.
• Ensure that supporters are thanked appropriately and coordinating with the rest of the fundraising team to deliver the annual thank-a-thon and any other stewardship activities.
• Work with Reception and Finance with regards to enquires and fundraised income. 

Professional & Technical Expertise

• Able to provide outstanding supporter experience to all audiences.
• Understanding of fundraising and where different income is generated.
• Able to effectively manage a varied workload.

• Carry out a range of duties and undertake any other duties as specified from time to time in accordance with Hft business requirements.

Insight Gloucestershire are seeking a Relationship Fundraiser.  This is an exciting and varied role incorporating writing funding applications, developing corporate partnerships, organising fundraising events and supporting volunteer fundraisers.

The role is based in Gloucestershire, and you will be travelling around the county to meet supporters and attend fundraising events.  You will need to regularly attend our office in Cheltenham.  There will also be occasional travel to our partner offices in Bristol and Devizes (Wiltshire). 

As Relationship Fundraiser, you will be playing a key role in ensuring the financial success and stability of our charity.  There is a wide salary band depending upon experience.  You might be coming to this role as an established fundraiser, looking to develop your career, or perhaps you have transferable skills having built great relationships in another sector.

We are seeking a Passenger Services Administrator to work in our busy office, taking bookings, processing financial and membership data, organising schedules and promoting our services across Wandsworth.

Job Description

Key areas of responsibility:

1.  Be the front of house first contact for telephone, in person and email enquiries.

2. Take minibus and passenger bookings for outings and shopping, using our bespoke CTX software.

3. Maintain operational records and statistics relating to all vehicle hirings and ensure that all mileage is accounted for.

4. Update financial records and prepare invoices using Sage Accounts, process petty cash and take money to the bank.

5. Organise the schedules for drivers and volunteers.

6. Produce newsletters and publicity materials.

7.  Participate in fundraising and publicity events. This may include evening and weekend work for which time off in lieu would be granted.

8. Attend and take part in staff meetings and evening Management Committee meetings, giving reports if required.

9. Any other duties commensurate with the grading of the post as directed by the Deputy Director, CEO or Management Committee.

Income and Engagement Specialist

We’re now looking for an experienced leader to step into a senior interim role, providing stability, leadership and momentum across our engagement activity during a period of transition.

This role will lead all of our mass fundraising and engagement activity, including Individual Giving, Legacies, Community & Events Fundraising, and Supporter Care. It is a senior, influential role shaping how supporters experience Mencap, how we grow income sustainably, and how we build long-term relationships rooted in trust and shared values.

As part of the interim remit, the role will also provide operational oversight and support to our High Value Relationships team, working closely with the interim Executive Director of Fundraising and other colleagues to ensure continuity, strong performance management and clear oversight of income and KPIs during this period.

You’ll bring strategic vision and clarity, alongside strong operational judgement. You’ll know how to turn insight into action, how to use data intelligently (without losing the human touch), and how to lead teams through change with confidence and care. You’ll be comfortable holding performance, using financial and KPI information to support delivery and decision-making.

Just as importantly, you’ll recognise that our supporters aren’t just numbers or segments – they’re individuals who care deeply about our work and want to feel connected to the difference they’re helping to make.

You’ll lead the place where Mencap’s fundraising brand, proposition, and voice really come to life, designing experiences, appeals, campaigns and supporter journeys that reflect the voices and lived experiences of people with a learning disability and show the world why our work matters.

This is a full‑time role (37.5 hours per week), offered on a 9‑month fixed‑term contract, with flexibility on location.
