Job description

Help residents feel informed, supported and confident throughout vital building safety and remediation projects. Join Peabody's Resident Engagement and Compliance team and make a real difference by delivering exceptional customer service, clear communication and positive outcomes for our communities.

We're looking for a passionate and proactive Remediation Resident Engagement Officer to be the trusted link between residents, contractors and internal teams during fire remediation and building safety works. This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who thrives on building relationships, resolving complex issues and ensuring residents remain at the heart of every decision.

In this role, you'll act as the primary point of contact for residents throughout their remediation journey, providing reassurance, managing enquiries and complaints, and ensuring people are kept informed every step of the way. Your ability to communicate clearly, demonstrate empathy and build trust will be key to delivering an excellent resident experience.

Working closely with teams across Home Ownership, Housing Management, Asset Management, Legal and Fire Safety, you'll support the delivery of remediation programmes while helping ensure compliance with relevant legislation and regulatory requirements. You'll maintain accurate records, monitor project information, assist with leaseholder and landlord certification processes, and contribute to service improvements through data analysis and resident feedback.

This role would suit someone with experience in housing, resident engagement, leasehold services, property management, customer service or compliance who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and managing a varied workload. You'll be organised, solutions-focused and confident building relationships with a wide range of stakeholders.

What you'll bring:

  • Excellent customer service and relationship-building skills.
  • Experience handling complex enquiries, complaints and escalations.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Confidence maintaining records, databases and compliance documentation.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • A proactive, resident-focused approach with great attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of housing, leasehold services, compliance or building safety practices would be advantageous.

At Peabody, you'll be part of an organisation committed to creating safe, sustainable communities and delivering outstanding services to residents. Whether you're seeking a permanent opportunity or a fixed-term role, this is your chance to contribute to a high-profile building safety programme while developing your career in a supportive and purpose-driven environment.

Apply today and help us make a lasting difference to residents' lives by ensuring they feel heard, supported and informed throughout every stage of their remediation journey.
