Your challenge? To undertake a portfolio of cases, generally incorporating the more complex situations, and deputise for Service Managers as and when required. And, all the while, we’ll expect you to work in a way that recognises and values diversity and make the most of your understanding of the functional model of alcohol, the model of change and CBT.
An energetic and confident self‐starter, you have a qualification in health/social care, youth and community care (e.g. NVQ Level 4 or above, DipSW, Mental Health Nursing, Counselling, Addiction Studies). Alternatively, we’ll consider candidates with experience of working in the substance misuse field with a commitment to complete NVQ Level 4 Health and Social Care or equivalent. You should also have experience of partnership working as well as the ability to maintain constructive relationships with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders from a wide range of services and disciplines. What’s more, you have a flexible approach, a commitment to the principles of confidentiality and the ability to write client records and report and fulfil data requirements.

We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Finance Manager to lead and manage our busy Finance Teams. You will have relevant finance and business experience, and you will directly manage the Accounts Payable and Income Collection teams, while contributing to process improvements within the Accounts Receivable (Billing) function.
You will be familiar with accounting software, preferably SAGE. You will be an effective communicator with excellent data management skills and numeracy, with particular proficiency in the use of Excel.
Ideally, you will have a relevant professional qualification (such as AAT or higher). Experience gained in a social care-related organisation or a large business/charity with multiple cost centres and varied income streams is desirable.

Supporter Engagement is one of the most important teams that is central to the success of Alzheimer’s Society. We are looking to recruit a HOPELINE247 Manager to enable the delivery of an outstanding suicide prevention helpline, through the effective management of HOPELINE247 advisers, alongside the promotion and development of the service.
What you will do:
Provide leadership, guidance, and effective line management to a team of suicide prevention advisers.

As a dedicated marketing resource in this small but energetic charity team, the role of marketing assistant is to help elevate Youth Talk’s story and brand awareness amongst its target markets. The primary focus and accountability is to deliver on fundraising goals, driving awareness and new funding leads from its designated target markets.
Reporting to the Fundraising Manager this will include responsibility for creating and managing impactful marketing content and campaigns that grow the brand profile and drive fundraising income. This would be working across all channels including social media, search, PR, events and website content. This new position will build on the significant work and achievements of the last couple of years and you will support the strategic development of our fundraising marketing plan.
This will require working closely with all the Youth Talk team as well as sourcing content from corporate partners, funders and external suppliers and stakeholders.

- Previous experience in digital marketing across multiple channels
- Passion for social media

Liverpool SHS is a mental health, 12 hour supported housing and community based service, working to a recovery model. We provide a range of support services for people with mental ill health to access in their local community, including outreach support, tenancy support, peer support and supported housing. We have been operating in the area for a number of years and offer a staffed service to our residents aged 18 and upwards.
We know that recovery can look and feel very different to each and every one of us. But we also know that if we provide the right support, at the right time, we can inspire recovery nationwide and that recovery is possible for everyone. That’s where you come in. Responsible for helping and inspiring the people who use our services to maintain their tenancy and independence in the community, we’ll rely on you to work with them to come up with a personal support plan that will see them achieve their goals and aspirations. Whether it’s developing their domestic and finance management skills or accessing work, leisure or educational opportunities, one thing’s for sure ‐ you will have every chance to shine.
No relevant experience is required as full training will be provided, although candidates with an understanding of mental health issues and/or lived experience would be welcomed. More important is your caring and compassionate nature and empathy and enthusiasm for helping others. Whatever your background, you’ll need to be happy to work both independently and within a team and willing to be part of a weekly rota system and available for on call duties.

We are looking for two Service Desk Analysts to join our friendly Service Desk as part of the fantastic IT team. In this crucial role you’ll help respond to our staff and volunteers to resolve various first and second line IT issues.
We are a fun, friendly and supportive team whose focus is on delivering excellence to our callers and volunteers. Many of those within the team have progressed from this role to more advanced roles within Samaritans. - Full time (35 hours/week) with flexible working practices
- £27,000 to £28,350 per annum
- Hybrid working – This role is ‘linked’ to our central office (Ewell), the current requirement is to attend central office approximately 1 day a week.
- You’ll also be asked to participate in the out of hours on call rota (additional remuneration provided)
Please note that for the fixed term role we would not be able to consider candidates with notice periods to leave their current employment of over 1 month.
