Key Responsibilities
Partnership liaison and relationship management
- Establish the primary local referral agencies and build and implement a strategy for developing relationships with them to ensure recruitment of young people onto the Spear programme is effective
- Maintain and develop relationships with local partners to form a strong referral network.
Oversight of Spear Programme
- As a confident communicator, you will lead group sessions of around 10 young people each, using coaching skills to transform attitudes to their own ability and the workplace, and to raise their awareness and maximise potential in stepping into the world of work
- Prepare and coach group and 1-1 sessions with the Spear Coach
- Ensure the programme is delivered in line with agreed targets, and report KPIs on recruitment, retention and completion of Spear Trainees to Resurgo and the Spear Trust, as well as their ongoing progress and sustainment of work or education.
Line Management and training
- Manage the Spear Coach, using a coaching approach to invest in their growth and development
- Be line managed by Resurgo to support with the set-up and ongoing operations of the centre and report back on KPIs.
Church Community
- The Spear Centre Manager is directly employed by Alive Church, meaning you are part of a vibrant church staff team and submerged in an exciting faith community
- You will be required to establish strong relationships with key people at the church to ensure the engagement and backing of church members and help the Spear Coach to establish a strong presence at the church to build a network of supporters for the Spear programme
- Ensure the Spear programme is a key missional feature of the work of the church; this may involve attending church events and speaking at services.
Site management and set-up
- Work with the Church to set up the training room and IT infrastructure for the new Spear Centre in advance of opening

About the role:
The Foundation/Domestic Abuse Prevention Practitioner (FDAP) will play a key role in working directly with individuals using harmful/abusive behaviour within their intimate relationships. The role will include suitability and risk assessments, delivery of interventions, facilitation of group programmes, risk identification, information sharing and preparation of reports for courts and other agencies.
The FDAP Practitioner will be co-located into Priority Crime Teams situated in Newport Police Station to assist with the identification, screening, and engagement of individuals using harmful behaviour in their relationships, working closely with police to provide a timely and streamlined process for earlier identification, referral, and engagement/disruption of high harm perpetrators of domestic abuse.
For this role is it essential you have excellent understanding of domestic abuse, including the impact on victims and their children. Experience of working with individuals experiencing domestic abuse/ and or causing harm. Experience of group work delivery is desirable; however, we will consider applications from candidates who demonstrate an aptitude for the role.
You will need to be able to build and maintain effective working relationships with statutory and voluntary agencies to deliver the best possible outcomes within a multi-agency setting. As well as being tenacious in support of your clients and adept at problem solving.
IT literacy is a must and candidates must evidence both the ability to use bespoke packages and excellence in their recording practice.

You will work closely with Hampton Trust domestic abuse perpetrator service to identify client suitability for the Caring Dads programme.
As the Caring Dads Practitioner, you will be required to deliver the Caring Dads and Accredited Domestic Abuse Prevention Training (ADAPT) Programme. This includes one to one support and group work. Groups are delivered on weekday evenings; you will be required to deliver one group work sessions per week.
You will undertake treatment and risk assessments of individuals causing harm in their relationships; this includes active case/risk management of families living with domestic abuse. Although this position is based in Ashurst, you will be co-located into social work teams across Hampshire three days per week, with an aim to providing support and advice in identifying suitable families for the Caring Dads and ADAPT programme.

CST Client Advisor
Role:
As a CST Client Advisor, you will play a pivotal role in assisting clients transitioning from military to civilian life by providing tracking, referral, and job matching services. Working closely with the CST team, you will offer advice and guidance to both clients and employers, utilising ADAPT and the CTP jobs board (RightJob). This role requires a dedicated individual with exceptional communication skills and a passion for supporting others.
Reporting to the CST Team Leader and Support Centre Manager, you will contribute to the efficient operation of our office through your dedication and customer service skills.
This role offers flexible working hours, including options for full-time or part-time (minimum of 3 days or 21 hours) employment, and is open to job share arrangements with a salary of £22,000 pro rata.

Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor the progress of clients through telephone and email tracking, adhering to CTP CCMP and relevant working instructions.
- Refer clients to appropriate resources such as Employment Advisors, Specialist Employment Consultants, or Career Consultants, in alignment with CTP CCMPs.
- Provide responsive helpdesk support to employers and service leavers requiring assistance with CTP online services.
- Accurately record all interactions with clients and employers on the CTP ADAPT BMS.
- Track client outcomes post-discharge and record successful "Settled" outcomes as per CST CCMP.
- Encourage employers to utilize the Right Job registration and vacancy posting process.
- Assist in promoting CTP services to service leavers and employers.
- Provide cover for other team members during absences or holidays.
- Undertake additional tasks and requests as directed by the CST Team Leader / Support Centre Manager.
Person Specification:
Essential Competencies:
- NVQ Advice and Guidance (Level 3) or equivalent.
- Experience in guiding, advising, and supporting individuals.
- Self-motivated team player dedicated to achieving successful outcomes.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a personable manner and strong telephone technique.
- Proficient in IT and keyboard skills.
- Experience in business administration, including database and customer relation management systems.
- Strong organizational skills with a proactive approach to achieving goals.
Desirable Competences:
- Empathy with the challenges faced by Armed Forces personnel in civilian employment.
- Understanding or interest in the employment market and recruitment.
- Experience in marketing, promotion, or customer liaison.
- NVQ Advice and Guidance (Level 4) or higher.
Security Clearance:
- Successful candidates must undergo Ministry of Defence security clearance, requiring residency in the UK for over 5 years.

About the service
West Berkshire Supported Housing & Floating Support is a support service, working to a recovery model and offers a support service to our clients aged 18 and upwards. Supported housing offers 13 self-contained flats for those looking to live a more independent life and our floating support offers support to those in their own home. We know that recovery can look and feel very different to each and every one of us. But we also know that if we provide the right support, at the right time, we can inspire recovery nationwide and that recovery is possible for everyone.
About the role
Recovery Workers ensure our clients are at the heart of everything we do. They are responsible for inspiring the people who use our services to lead their own recovery, while maintaining their tenancy and independence in the community. Together they co-produce a personalised support plan designed to address their specific needs and achieve their goals and aspirations. Recovery Workers also develop your leadership skills by taking on lead areas and extra responsibilities. The support work at our service varies a lot so not every day or support session is the same. This can include but is not limited to:
- Support to attend medical appointments
- Finding and attending social groups and external activities
- Meal planning, shopping, and cooking
- Finances and budgeting
- Living Skills
- Working on interventions.
