As a newly created position, the Fundraising Manager will report to the Head of Grants & Development and oversee a Fundraising Coordinator and Senior Database Officer. The role will be instrumental in implementing the organisation’s strategic plan to expand reach and impact and increase income by $10M over 3 years.
As Fundraising Manager, your initial focus will be developing existing and new relationships with institutional funders, working closely with the Head of Grants & Development. Developing relationships with foundations will be another priority area, with potential to leverage existing relationships that have arisen from tech-level engagement with foundations. In the longer term, plans include pursuing corporate sponsorships and developing income from individual donors (HNWIs).
As Fundraising Manager, you will:
- Implement the fundraising strategy in collaboration with the Head of Grants & Development and the Executive team
- Identify, build, and manage relationships with current and prospective donors across public sector funders, foundations, international organisations, corporate sponsors and individual donors
- Support the development of new projects/proposals in partnership with the Global Programs team, consulting with the Chiefs and Department Heads to ensure proposals align with their capacities
- Collaborate with the public sector licensing team to grow reach to public sector clients (corporates)
- Line manage and support a Fundraising Coordinator and Senior Database Officer
Ideal skills and experience:
- An entrepreneurial and resourceful fundraiser with experience of developing proposals and budgets and securing significant grants from institutional and international foundation sources
- Working with individual donors (HNWIs) and/or corporate sponsors would be advantageous, but not essential
- Evidence of excellent relationship management skills, with both current and prospective donors
- Ability to handle the complexity of managing multiple fundraising efforts globally
- Line management experience
Benefits include:
- 28 days annual leave including bank holidays, with a c.2-week office closure at the end of the year for the winter hiatus. Typically, this would be 2 weeks with varying start and end dates of the office closure. For example, this year the closure dates start on the evening of Friday 20th Dec with a return to work on Monday 6th January, providing 7 days when employees are offline in addition to bank holidays.

The role will be responsible for proactive and reactive media relations; effective engagement on social media; developing engaging content for our website; supporting on Calls for Evidence and drafting copy for marketing materials, including our e-newsletter. A highly autonomous role, you will work closely with our fundraising, counselling, and research teams.
Our ideal candidate would also have experience of working on fundraising and awareness campaigns; and the ability to create content on social media in line with branding guidelines. Experience in developing communications strategies and reporting on Key Performance Indicators are essential.
Hours: 35 hours per week, flexible working. Part-time will be considered, minimum of 28 hours over four days. Mondays and Fridays are core working days.

About the role

As Fundraising Manager, you will effectively lead, inspire, develop and manage the income growth of the Psoriasis Association through implementing highly successful fundraising initiatives. We are seeking an adept and skilled fundraiser with expertise in Individual Giving and with knowledge of associated disciplines (e.g. legacies, in memoriam). You should have a track record of achieving fundraising income targets across a range of income streams and demonstrate an ability to work with initiative, think creatively and with excellent attention to detail.

Tender is an arts charity working with children and young people to prevent domestic abuse and sexual violence through creative projects. Our programmes are safe, enjoyable, age-appropriate spaces where young people can engage with sensitive topics and “rehearse” for real-life scenarios. Participants are encouraged to be both consumers and producers of learning through script-work, role-play and creative media such as films and art. Throughout, we enable young people to explore their choices, rights and expectations in relationships and to recognise the early warning signs of abuse.
We have grown rapidly in recent years, and now have an exciting and varied programme of work which is funded from a wide range of sources. We have long-standing, high-value relationships with organisations such as the Mayor’s Office, Esmée Fairbairn and Clifford Chance, and continue to grow our income from a range of supporters from trusts, foundations, corporates, individuals and community fundraisers.
We now have a need for two Development Officers to work closely with the Development Director and Development Manager in developing our trusts and foundations and statutory income streams, managing the accounts of existing supporters and generating income through securing new funding relationships. This role will involve a diverse range of work, from identifying prospects, creating compelling funding proposals, through to successfully managing relationships with funders.

• Confidently write and speak about Tender’s work, and how we prevent violence against women and girls, to a range of different funders.

About the Role
Reporting to the Senior Fundraising Manager, the Major Donor Manager sits within the Communications, Engagement and Fundraising team.
The role involves developing plans that feed into the USPG fundraising strategy to increase engagement from high net worth individuals and cultivating new high value donors. Main duties and responsibilities
·Provide direct services (on an individual or group work basis) for children, their families, carers and adults maintaining professional practice standards as outlined in legislation, guidance and consistent with NSPCC practice standards and guidance.
·Hold case accountability for a number of cases most of which will be complex, ensuring all safeguarding practice and case recording conforms to NSPCC practice standards and guidance. Provide professional advice to internal and external enquires.
·Liaise and work positively with partner agencies and respectfully challenge where necessary in order to promote the best interest of children.

Person specification
1. A recognised social work qualification and registration with the relevant social care county within the UK.

The Nystagmus Network is seeking a Development Coordinator to help build on our core services and develop new ones to meet the growing and changing needs of the nystagmus community and to support income generation to ensure those services can continue to be funded. You will need to be passionate about what we do, have the drive and enthusiasm to succeed and also be sensitive to the need to involve volunteers and stakeholders in service development and delivery.

The Digital & IG Manager will be responsible for managing marketing campaigns across a variety of paid marketing channels. This currently includes Meta, Google Search Ads and YouTube and telemarketing, and is likely to include more channels in the future. You will work closely with the interim Senior Acquisition Manager to ensure that the regular giving programme is performing against targets successfully, contributing to the wider fundraising strategy of recruiting new regular givers and increasing our unrestricted, sustainable income.
You will lead on setting up, running and monitoring campaigns as well as analysing and reporting on results on a daily basis. You will create and test new, regular giving propositions based on audience research and data-led results, working collaboratively with colleagues in the Individual Giving and Data teams to monitor and influence donor journeys to ensure strong rates of retention. You will use a combination of the Meta Business Suite, Google Analytics, agency reports and War Child’s CRM to track and report on results against target.
Your responsibilities
· Lead on creative development and copywriting across a suite of creative executions. Take responsibility for developing creative concepts and generating ideas for broadcast campaigns.
· Lead on creation, planning and delivery of regular giving acquisition campaigns from start to finish. This includes using data-led insights to build innovative and effective propositions and conversion journeys, with a focus on excellent user experience and recruiting high quality, long-term donors.
· Be responsible for implementing and delivering a strategic testing plan which underpins all Acquisition Campaigns.
· Ownership and day to day management of telemarketing campaigns, including quality control, regular meetings with agencies, results analysis and reporting and data checks.
· Own the donate section of the website – take responsibility for all income generation donate pages, ensuring they are optimised and donate journeys are seamless.
· Monitor, analyse and report on results using internal and external platforms and dashboards. You will use these insights to inform future campaigns and ensure we are spending budget in the most efficient way. You will set targets using KPIs, and regularly report back on progress against target to the Fundraising departments, presenting how regular giving recruitment supports War Child’s strategic priority of increasing sustainable income.
· Develop strong working relationships with other teams and key stakeholders. Appoint, and manage relationships with external agencies, suppliers and partners (digital and direct marketing, telemarketing, technology, creative, web technical etc.) to ensure excellent service delivery and agency management.
· Maintain a strong knowledge of developments, innovations, and new technology in web development, digital performance, digital marketing and social media, and any sector insights and trends, and identify any that may be of benefit/interest to War Child.
· Draw on fundraising knowledge and Direct Marketing expertise to support the interim Senior Acquisition Manager and Heads of Acquisition & Individual Giving with the overall acquisition strategy, including making key recommendations on targets, opportunities for growth, scale back, and spend needed, whilst considering the external environment / trends across the sector, audience insight and campaign learnings – helping to influence strategic decisions on future investment.
· Work closely with the Senior Fundraising Compliance Advisor and other key team members to ensure that all marketing activity is in line with compliance regulations set by the IOF, DMA, ICO, Fundraising Regulator and GDPR legislation.
· Providing support and advice to other Fundraising departments from time to time on fundraising projects which require the use of paid digital channels to drive income. You will use your expertise to help guide the decisions and execution of paid digital media across the organisation.

You are

Why we need you
We are seeking a Fundraising Coordinator with a passion for the Future Frontiers mission (you do not need to have previous experience of fundraising) who will play a vital supporting role to secure income that is needed to deliver the Future Frontiers programme for a growing number of young people.
The successful candidate will report to the Senior Fundraising Manager and work closely with the Fundraising and Partnerships teams. Your primary focus will be on charitable Trusts and Foundations: researching suitable funding opportunities and writing external-facing communications. You will arrange programme visits to meet with young people and develop high-quality case studies. In addition, you will play a role in Future Frontiers' wider income generation work through researching potential business supporters and working with people participating in fundraising activities including employee fundraising and challenge events. You will keep excellent records of all fundraising activity to ensure effective team collaboration.

Research and pipeline development
You will complete research to find charitable trusts, foundations and businesses that have the potential to support Future Frontiers for the first time and keep detailed notes for the fundraising and partnerships teams. You will use this knowledge to support the pipeline of funding opportunities for the coming years, including making recommendations for the amount of funding we ask for and what it could go towards.
Enquiries and applications
You will write enquiries and applications for funding that are tailored to each recipient and make a convincing case for how their support will make a difference.
Reports and case studies
You will write reports that are tailored to each recipient and demonstrate how their funding has made a difference. This will involve arranging programme visits to speak with young people and develop case studies.
Supporter engagement
You will support the planning and delivery of high-quality, tailored communications and engagement opportunities for existing and potential supporters. This will include supporting individual volunteer fundraisers and employees of business partners.

You will ensure that key information about our fundraising activity is stored appropriately and with high attention to detail.
