As a Registered Service Manager (RSM) you will be responsible for ensuring your service is well led, maintains high quality standards, is financially robust and that your staff team are well developed and motivated.
You will be responsible for ensuring that all support is delivered in compliance with Look Ahead's policies and procedures. You will be responsible for the effective management of all aspects of service delivery and effectively managing all stakeholder relationships in partnership with the Head of Service. You will ensure that Positive Behaviour Support is embedded in the service and provide ongoing coaching and support to allow staff/deputy manager(s) to effectively deliver person centred support to customers.

What you'll do:
Leadership Accountabilities:
* Ensure the PBS framework is imbedded in service delivery with ongoing staff competency assessment and training
* Successfully lead and motivate your team to ensure the championing and ongoing maintenance of a positive performance culture within your service.
* Responsible for ensuring your service is well led, that customers are safeguarded against harm or abuse, and that your team delivers person centred support according to each customer's individual requirements.
* Work to continuously improve staff competence, ensure ownership of all staff issues and speedy and effective conflict resolution - this includes but is not limited to staff supervision, coaching, team meetings, reflective practice and training.

About the Service

About the Role
You will provide advice and support to women who have experienced domestic abuse in a refuge setting, across two sites. You will carry out risk and needs assessments, develop support plans and carry out key work with women survivors. You should have a minimum of two years’ experience of working with this or a similar client group. An in depth understanding of the needs of women and children from a diverse background is essential.
You will be expected to work across the two refuges as part of your role.
About You
The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of domestic abuse and its impact on women and their children, as well as experience of providing emotional and practical support to victims of domestic and sexual violence.
You will have experience of managing risk and following case management procedures to meet the needs of the client group, and the ability to work with women to help them to understand their needs, risk assess, develop safety plan, and support them in linking with other agencies.
You will have a working knowledge of the available legal remedies, housing, and welfare benefits, as well as experience of providing workshops.
Outside of this, you will have excellent administrative and time management skills and the ability to effectively manage a caseload.

Climb are an Prevention and Early Intervention Service for 10-17 year old's who may vulnerable to criminal exploitation and/or at risk of entering the criminal justice system. We offer 1-1 outreach support and access to positive diversionary activities in their local areas.
This is an exciting role within an established and expanding service across West Mercia. There are a number of varied, practitioner roles that are set to increase. We are currently looking for a Exploitation Practitioner to join our dynamic, ambitious team.
This role will support young people at risk of criminal exploitation or entering the criminal justice system; at an early intervention level. This will be through 1-1, direct work and support in accessing positive diversionary activities, therefore reducing the risk. It will also require excellent mutli-agency work.
This role is for people with a passion in supporting vulnerable young people on a 1-1 basis, in raising their aspirations, building their confidence, working together with professionals to ensure the most appropriate, robust and holistic support is offered to meet each individual's needs. A key part of this role will be your ability to positively impact the lives of Children and Young people.
You will need to be able to engage with professional colleagues also, have presentation skills, and be able to bring people together around mutual goals.
Although the contracts are home based, there will be a lot of daily travel across Telford or Shropshire area. Although there is no specific office base, you will be part of a geographically based team and will be well supported by the management team and all of your colleagues.

About the team
The outbound Supporter Services team is based in Sheffield, this role is part of our Income Generation directorate within the Individual Giving team and works in collaboration with our Services teams based in Sheffield. The Supporter Services team manage outbound calling activity which underpins the income raised by the Individual Giving team.

About the role
You will report into the Resource & Support Manager and develop the tele-fundraising team through active coaching, guidance and as an escalation point. You will be responsible for developing the direction of and delivering the outbound calling programme which includes anniversary and welcome calling to our supporter and leading in the testing and development of campaigns.
You’ll also be responsible for management of our supporter services outbound calling team and acting as an escalation point for any complaints, as well as being the training and development lead for tele-fundraisers supporting them to deliver high quality calls and build workplace skills for the future.

To be a successful in the role you will need to have in depth experience of working in a customer service setting in a supervisory capacity where you’ve supported colleagues in career development. Summary of Role
Working under the direction of our Centre Managers at Arc in the Park and Abbey Hub, Youth Workers are key to ensuring the successful delivery of our provision for young people. The role will include the delivery of specific youth work projects and programmes delivered in accordance with the policies and procedures of AAA, helping young people to develop personally, socially and educationally. The role will include providing support to vulnerable and at-risk service users.
Responsibilities
·Providing for the social, personal, educational and leisure needs of young people by assisting in the running, organisation and delivery of AAA youth projects, including building-based and detached street work projects
·Establishing positive relationships with all young people supporting and enabling them to increase their confidence and realise their potential, fully integrating them into all project activities.
·Coordinating resources and developing opportunities and activities for young people which reflects their particular needs and circumstances.
·Facilitating the active involvement of the young people in the planning and development of the project programme.
·Facilitating the positive integration of young people with disabilities, behavioural difficulties and/or special needs within the project.
·Mentoring young people by supporting positive behaviours, delivering life-skills sessions and workshops.
·Assisting young people in identifying progression opportunities and providing on-going transition support for those moving into college, employment, apprenticeships or further learning.
·Monitoring and evaluating projects with young people and staff, providing reports as required to the Board of Trustees.
·Supporting young people to gain accreditation through their involvement in projects

Summary of Role

As a Youth Tech Abuse Lead you will provide specialist support to Refuge’s children support workers and frontline staff to ensure children, young people, and protective parents are using technology safely and positively in our refuges. You will increase understanding and awareness of your colleagues on tech-facilitated abuse and how to identify and respond to risks. Approximately 40% of the role focuses on working directly with children and young people and their parents in empowerment workshops, and 60% of the role will focus on capacity building and training frontline staff.

Role Purpose:
Street Child is a rapidly growing, child-focused, humanitarian and development organisation. In 2023, Street Child celebrated reaching over one million children across 25 countries over its fifteen years of existence. This was accomplished with and through a growing network of more than 200 national and local actors. The Regional Director will be a standard bearer of this ambition in East and Southern Africa, providing leadership across all countries where Street Child is operational while monitoring and pursuing growth opportunities across the region. As Street Child’s most senior representative in the region, the Regional Director will guide and drive the organisation to deliver on the objective of ensuring all children are safe, in school, and learning.
As Street Child actively seeks opportunities to expand its support for the most marginalized girls and boys, the Regional Director will be responsible for providing outstanding leadership and for resourcing and delivering high impact programming across East and Southern Africa. The Regional Director will work to identify and advance partnerships with regional, national, and local actors, as well as donors. This will require bringing a strong network to the role along with energy to represent Street Child in organisational, regional, and global forums. As Street Child country teams drive delivery for girls and boys, the Regional Director will work with country directors to develop high-functioning teams to deliver and resource ambitious regional and country strategies.
The Regional Director will manage one regional programme coordinator and will progressively assume responsibility for line management of country directors in East and Southern Africa.

Qualifications and Experience:
- Significant senior management experience, leading high-functioning programme regional or county teams in the humanitarian and development sector. Previous experience as a country or regional director is preferred.
- Strong strategic thinker, with demonstrated expertise developing, resourcing, and delivering strategic plans at the regional or country level.
- Demonstrable experience of proposal development and/or winning funding; Experience in both humanitarian and development contexts.
- Strong command of the localisation agenda, and commitment to local level leadership and decision-making.
- Strong experience delivering high quality education and/or child protection programming.
- Excellent written and spoken communications in English.
- Experience working in the East and Southern Africa region.
- Demonstrated experience working closely with and in support of a multitude of partners including those from local civil society, government, and the private sector.
- Excellent relationship building skills, with an ability to skillfully navigate both national and international stakeholders.
