Vetlife is a charity for the veterinary community that provides independent, confidential and free help. We offer a 24/7 phone and email helpline, professional mental health support, financial assistance, information and resources. Vetlife is governed by an enthusiastic board of trustees who are all qualified vets or registered vet nurses. We have close ties with all the major UK veterinary stakeholders and are based in Central London.
We are looking for a compassionate and enthusiastic administrator to provide communications support within our charity. You will be responsible for assisting with communications and marketing, supporting fundraisers, monitoring social media, fulfilling orders though our web shop and preparing for events.
You will also be assisting at events alongside our team of volunteer Ambassadors. You will therefore possess excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to communicate clearly and with empathy.
An organised and confident individual, your work will also involve increasing awareness of the services we provide. You must possess excellent time management skills and the desire to build and maintain successful working relationships.

This is a 12 month fixed term contract opportunity working 30 hours per week over four days, Tuesday to Friday and will include approximately 5 weekends per year on-call.
The starting salary for this position is £21,840 per annum (full time equivalent salary £27,300), with an additional market supplement of £1,760 per annum (full time equivalent £2,200 per annum). This is complemented by;

RSPCA Finchley, Golders Green, Hendon & District Branch is looking for a compassionate, resilient and proactive Senior Animal Welfare Officer to join our growing team supporting animals and local communities across North London.
Location: North London
Salary: £22,620 per annum
Hours: 30 hours per week
Contract: 1 year fixed-term contract with possibility of extension
This is a rewarding and varied frontline role where no two days are the same. You will be involved in rescuing and supporting vulnerable animals, coordinating veterinary treatment and ongoing care, supporting fostering and rehoming pathways, responding to welfare concerns and helping deliver community welfare initiatives across the Branch area.
You will work closely with members of the public, volunteers, fosterers, veterinary partners, local Inspectorate teams and external agencies to help deliver high-quality welfare support to animals in need. The role will also include supporting the Branch Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) programme for stray and feral cats, assisting with animal transport and admissions, maintaining welfare records and helping strengthen frontline animal welfare provision across North London.
We are looking for someone with previous experience in animal welfare, rescue or a similar environment who is confident handling cats and other domestic animals, able to manage varied casework calmly and professionally, and committed to delivering high standards of animal welfare with empathy and compassion.
The role will include some occasional evenings and weekends in line with operational needs.
