• Connects easily with young people, especially those who’ve faced trauma, mental health challenges, or substance misuse.
• Is creative and confident in engaging young people, whether through music, sports, art, or other interests.

• Has strong communication and IT skills, and ideally some knowledge of safeguarding, support plans, or key working.

The Churches and Networks Consultant will play a vital role in developing strategic partnerships, contributing to the Church of England's Vision and Strategy, and fostering a mixed ecology across the church.

This is a fixed-term 2-year role.

We are seeking a talented and passionate individual to join our Vision & Strategy team as a Churches and Networks Consultant. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and managing strategic partnerships that align with the Church's Vision and Strategy, with a focus on Sports and Wellbeing Ministries and Music for Mission initiatives. Your work will inspire and enable local churches to bring the national vision to life, while also supporting the development of funding proposals and ensuring alignment with diocesan strategies.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage strategic partnerships to address critical gaps and enable the Church's Vision and Strategy.
• Work with external leaders to strengthen Sports and Wellbeing Learning Communities, capturing key learnings.
• Identify opportunities for impactful partnerships by assessing trends and potential growth areas.
• Collaborate with external networks and organizations to scale initiatives aligned with bold outcomes.
• Support partners in co-creating proposals with clear objectives, milestones, and budgets.
• Oversee and manage partnership implementation, monitoring milestones and outcomes.

About You

What you'll do

You will work closely with each individual to help them build confidence, develop life skills, and work towards their personal goals. You’ll also support them in accessing community resources, sustaining their housing, and exploring future housing options. Your role will involve liaising with external agencies, attending team meetings and training, and ensuring accurate record-keeping. You’ll be a key part of a collaborative team, committed to safeguarding, promoting equality, and delivering excellent service in line with Peabody’s values and policies.

What you'll need

• Experience supporting vulnerable people in the community or a supported living environment, either professionally or through volunteering. 
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with young people and external partners
• A compassionate, empathetic approach with a genuine desire to make a difference in people’s lives
• Confidence to work independently (including lone working) and collaboratively as part of a team
• Good IT literacy, including the use of Microsoft Office and data entry system.

The Youth Employability Service

CXK delivers the Youth Employability Service (YES) across East Sussex, commissioned by East Sussex County Council. We offer information, advice, support and guidance to young people in academic years 12 and 13 who are not in education, employment or training (NEET), helping them to explore their options, plan and then take their next steps. We also work with schools supporting young people in year 11 who are at risk of becoming NEET. Liaising with a range of other services, YES is focussed on supporting young people to achieve their potential.

The Team

The YES team support young people from across the county, seeing them at CXK bases, partner venues or in community settings. The team assess and action plan with young people referred to the service, supporting them to understand their options and take steps toward achieving their goals around education, training and/ or employment. Working with a wide range of young people, the team approach is focused, creative and persistent, building on young peoples’ confidence and motivation alongside their skills and personal growth.

The Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Youth Support Adviser.

The Youth Support Adviser (YSA) is a key role in the Youth Employability Service, acting as the first point of contact for 16-18-year-olds who are NEET or at risk of NEET. You will support with first appointments and initial assessments of need, when young people are referred to YES, alongside supporting your caseload. Guiding them through re-engagement with suitable post-16 provisions and provide targeted intervention to those who have withdrawn from or not started their Post 16 provisions.

Working across the East of the county with schools and FE Colleges you will play a key role in ensuring that young people — receive the tailored guidance and support they need to progress confidently into further education, training, or employment. So strong customer service and communication skills are essential.

You will maintain regular contact with the young people you support, plus be a pivotal part of the YES Tracking Team, where you will use various communication methods (phone, text, WhatsApp, email, face-to-face) to engage and support young people and offer our support.

About You

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with experience of working with young people and looking to progress.

Ideally you understand the post-16 education and training landscape in East Sussex and the importance of person-centred support. You will be a confident communicator and collaborator, able to manage a varied caseload and make a genuine impact on the lives of the young people you support.

Age UK's forward-thinking Service & Business Improvement Team are recruiting for an exciting role which supports service development and improvement across the Age UK Network and Age UK National Services.

The successful Service Development & Improvement Advisor will provide direct support, developing and co-ordinating resources for service development and demonstrate a continuous improvement approach to services across the Charity.

Undertaking in-depth service reviews with the Age UK Network across a wide range of services, including CQC registered services, you will upskill colleagues across the Network Support Division in service development, improvement techniques and approaches.

About Resonance
Resonance is a 24/7, artist-led community radio station based in Southwark, London, broadcasting on FM, DAB and online to audiences in the UK and internationally. The station supports experimental arts & culture and under-represented voices through community radio broadcasting, working with hundreds of volunteer broadcasters, artists and producers each year alongside a small staff team. Resonance is delivered by London Musicians’ Collective Limited, a registered charity (290236), and is sustained through listener support and grant funding.

Purpose of the Role
This role exists to increase Resonance’s charitable income, securing the funding that enables its artistic and community work to happen. It sits alongside, rather than within, artistic and operational delivery, with a specific focus on charitable fundraising and supporter engagement.

The Development Coordinator works across the organisation to draw out the charitable purpose, public benefit and impact of Resonance’s activity, and to communicate this clearly to funders and donors through funding applications, donor communications and impact-led narratives.

Key Outcomes

• Charitable income increases year on year, supported by a strong pipeline of trust and foundation applications and effective stewardship of funders.
• Individual giving grows, with donors and supporters receiving regular, credible communications that lead to stronger engagement and donations over time.
• Resonance’s charitable activity and public benefit are communicated clearly and confidently to funders and supporters, using evidence that is accurate, proportionate and well judged.
• Donor, funder and impact information is well-organised, up to date and actively used to support fundraising and stewardship.

Role Context
This role is supported by grant funding from the Community Radio Fund, administered by Ofcom on behalf of the UK Department for Digital, Culture, Media & Sport (DCMS). The Development Coordinator focuses on resourcing Resonance’s charitable mission by translating artistic and community activity into clear, funder- and donor-facing narratives, working at the intersection of information, relationships and deadlines and exercising good judgement when priorities compete or information is incomplete.

The role and its impact

This is a part-time CEO role providing hands-on leadership so CCE can deliver projects well, support volunteers, and build strong partnerships. Working with the Board, you will help move projects from early-stage development through to installation and reporting.

• Salary: £45,000 FTE pro rata (2 days/week = £18,000 per year)
