What you’ll be doing? 

The Better Together service delivers a community-based outreach, awareness-raising and personalised support programme to address gambling-related harm. This role is key to the smooth running and successful administration of this service and will support with enquiries into the service, and help organise conferences, events and professional education sessions.

• Research location and book venues to host conferences and professional education sessions raising events.

• Promote the service, conference and education sessions across AUKL’s social media. 

• Support with organising two large-scale conferences, setting up Eventbrites, liaising with professionals and partners to ensure attendance, invite keynote speakers and ensure materials are printed and distributed for the conference.

• Help with general administrative tasks such as checking inboxes, uploading referrals to the database and emailing updates to referrers.

• Meet clients on a one-to-one basis, making home visits where appropriate and allowing clients the time and space to discuss ‘what matters to me’.

Age UK is looking for an experienced statutory funding professional play a vital role in supporting local Age UK federation partners to sustain and grow statutory income - including leading/supporting collaborative bids to regional/combined commissioners; creating and maintaining statutory commissioning knowledge hubs - with shared tools and knowledge; enabling access to quality third party support; providing 'critical friend' and other opportunity specific support through clear pathways and Service Level Agreements. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys enabling others to succeed, navigating complex commissioning environments, and turning collective effort into lasting impact for older people.

This role is one of two newly created Business Development Manager positions. While each post will have a distinct focus - one on local/regional commissioners and the other on national commissioners - the two managers will work closely to ensure strategic alignment and balanced workload across the portfolio.

This is a 24-month fixed term contract. There is potential for the role to become permanent depending on a review of business needs.

We operate a hybrid-working model, a blend of home and office working. This role will include regular days working from our London office - currently once a week on a Thursday and may involve occasional travel for meetings and cultivation events. Travel costs to the London office are the responsibility of the postholder and are not covered by the charity.

The Communications Manager is a key role in the planning and delivering of high quality, integrated internal and external communications to increase awareness of and drive engagement with The Children’s Trust, as part of the Fundraising and Communications Directorate. Working alongside senior colleagues in marketing, media and digital, the role helps ensure our communications are well planned, effective, aligned and consistent, using insight and evaluation to demonstrate impact. 

Consistency of Brand and Messaging, content and story gathering

• Build relationships with staff, volunteers and families, telling the stories of The Children’s Trust, to be delivered through a number of channels and who can, alongside celebrities, become ambassadors for the charity
• Drive consistent use of The Children’s Trust key messages across all communications channels
• Work alongside the Senior Marketing Manager to keep style guidelines updated and refreshed on a regular basis
• Work with the Senior Media and Communications Manager to ensure communications collateral is regularly updated, particularly where children and families feature, ensuring it is in line with the charity’s consent process
• Work with the creative team to ensure brand guidelines are refreshed and updated and that there are toolkits and templates available to wider staff

External Communications

Fundraising Communications / Income Generation Communications

• Work with fundraising and retail colleagues within the directorate to plan, execute and evaluate communications campaigns which supports income generation, in line with the fundraising objectives of the charity

• Business Development – working with the team to support campaigns which support the business development objectives of the charity, to promote support the department with its stakeholder engagement to professionals and parents.

About the role

We are looking for someone to lead an exciting project commissioned by Central North West London (CNWL) to improve health outcomes for people with autism in Brent.

The Autism Care Navigator project will improve access to pre and post diagnostic support for Brent residents on the Adult Autism Assessment waiting list. The Project will work closely with the Brent LD community team, other healthcare providers including primary care, and Brent residents.

The post holder will offer care navigation support to individuals, helping people to access health and social care services and improving understanding of what services are available. They will collect people’s stories and experiences, run consultations and focus groups and feed into wider consultation, working to address system issues. The role will also involve sitting on relevant strategic boards and groups to make sure that experiences and challenges of people with autism in Brent are included in decision making.

Using your experience of working with autistic people, you may also support other staff and services to improve how they work with and support autistic people.

Key responsibilities

About the role
MAP is looking for a professional institutional funding manager with vast experience in securing bilateral and multilateral grant and a track record of achieving income targets. As the Head of Institutional Funding, you will play a crucial role in leading the development and execution of MAP's institutional funding strategy. Your responsibilities will include establishing and nurturing relationships with key institutional donors such as UN agencies, FCDO, SIDA, and Irish Aid, as well as crafting compelling project proposals and ensuring compliance with all contractual and reporting requirements.

You will have extensive experience in securing grants from institutional donors, particularly in emergency response, relief, and rehabilitation projects. You will demonstrate a track record of success in developing institutional donor funding strategies and managing funded projects, along with excellent communication and relationship-building skills. An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our dynamic NYAS Cymru team.  We are currently seeking to appoint a Project Worker to conduct Return Home Interviews with children and young people living in South Wales, who have returned after being missing from home or care. This role will be full time, working 35 hours per week, and will be fixed term for 6 months with the possibility of extension (maternity cover). The role will be home based with some travel to a Basic Command Unit in Swansea Neath Port Talbot or Cwm Taf Morgannwg (Bridgend, Merthyr and Rhondda Cynon Taff). 

Working alongside our project worker team and partner agency, South Wales Police, you will provide support for children and young people to explore the reasons for being missing, identifying risks and vulnerabilities to exploitation, ensuring reports are completed within the agreed timescale.

The successful candidate will work on an agile basis and will primarily involve extensive travel across the Swansea Neath Port Talbot area or Cwm Taf Morgannwg area with occasional requests for return home interview support across the force wide area.

About you

We are looking for a proactive and dynamic team member with significant experience of direct work with children and young people, within a social care environment, including those who have been and / or at risk of being exploited.  You will have the ability to work creatively with children and young people, responding to high service demand, with excellent interpersonal and report writing skills.
