About the role
We are currently seeking an experienced Legacy professional with a good understanding of charity legacy administration, to assist Macmillan in receiving its rightful entitlements from gifts in supporters' wills in a timely manner, by collaborating with executors and other charities to maximize the value of each gift whilst also aiming to enhance the charity's reputation.

The postholder will manage pecuniary and lower-risk residuary gifts, ensuring executors, family, and friends have a positive experience with Macmillan as a beneficiary. Responsibilities include accurately recording data, creating valuations per the Charity Commission’s SORP 2019 and Macmillan’s Legacy Income Recognition Policy, and assessing any conditions on gift usage. Communication with executors and co-beneficiaries will occur via letters, emails, and phone calls. Additionally, you will gather stories to promote legacy giving and adhere to all data protection laws.
 

About you
We’re looking for someone with the following skills and experience:

• Understanding of Charity Legacy Administration and/or Estate Administration within private practice and/or have done electives in Probate as part of a law degree or Graduate Diploma in Law.
• Written and verbal communication skills including a confident and welcoming telephone manner.
• Relationship building skills.
• Knowledge of data protection law.
• Technology Skills, including working knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite.

About the role

We are seeking to hire a dynamic and passionate Senior Ecologist to join The Lifescape Project, to play an integral role in the restoration of charismatic species to the UK and in landscape scale habitat restoration.

As a Senior Ecologist, your work will cover two distinct areas which are broadly: BNG-associated site assessments; and practical planning and feasibility aspects of species reintroductions.

Salary: £40,000 - £42,000 per annum, depending on experience + benefits.

Main Responsibilities:

Overview

• Oversight and management of Pecan's financial planning, accounting, and reporting.
• Oversight and management of the organisations financial risk and compliance, and safeguarding of assets through effective processes and procedures.
• Oversight and management of performance and organisational data: its collection, storage, analysis and reporting. 

Finance

1. Advise and report to the Board, Chief Executive and SMT on all financial matters, including investments, reserves, financial forecasting and cashflow, financial performance and systems. 
2. Lead the financial planning for the organisation, including annual budgeting and re-forecasting as necessary and to prepare regular financial report, including management accounts, cashflow, and other reports as required by the Board, the SMT and budget holders. 
3. Provide financial information, advice and support, including training, which meets the needs of the Trustees, SMT and other staff within Pecan. In particular, work with service leads to provide all necessary financial budgeting input to funding bids and funding monitoring and reporting, ideally also upskilling the service leads in this area. 
4. Take responsibility for the day to day management and administration of the finance functions such as bank reconciliations, petty cash and donation records, accounts payables & receivables, VAT and gift aid claimed. 

Key Requirements (specific skills, qualifications required):

• Experience of working in a senior accounting role, including budget and financial policy formulation.
• A track record of preparing management accounts and other financial reports.
• Strong financial management skills and ability (including SORP).
• Entrepreneurial spirit and business acumen.

A little bit about the role 

Location: Hybrid, 2 days a week expected in our London Office. Those living outside the M25 can opt to not receive London Office Allowance and agree a more flexible office attendance pattern at offer stage.

The Academic Registry team, one of the sub-teams within programme management, is responsible for ensuring that participants’ academic  programme journeys are well-administered. The team are responsible for areas such as academic policies and processes (including for assessment and student records), along with several other operational aspects of Frontline’s academic provision, from attending and preparing data for examination boards or exceptional circumstances panels, to liaising with external markers.

The Academic Programmes Officer will work primarily as part of the Academic Registry, within Programme Management, to contribute to a first-class participant experience on the Approach Social Work programme. You will need to be flexible and adaptable in response to diverse requirements in the wider team through the academic year. A responsive and supportive standard of customer service is expected throughout, including at peak periods.

Some key responsibilities include:

• Coordinate assessments and preparation for exam boards, including managing marker allocations, deadlines and payments, and recording and communicating assessment outcomes
• Analyse feedback and other data to support the continuous enhancement of the Approach Social Work programme.
• Maintain accurate participant records, ensuring that all data is maintained and shared appropriately and in line with legal and regulatory requirements
• Build strong working relationships within Frontline and with external partners, e.g. in our university partner, to support effective collaboration

Key Responsibilities

Relationship Management

• Provide tailored, high-quality stewardship to a range of large and medium-sized Trusts & Foundations.
• Identify and pursue new funding opportunities and build relationships with new Trusts and Foundations to further grow this income stream.
• Prioritise research to constantly develop future pipeline.
• Work with Head of Philanthropy and other senior stakeholders in engaging potential funders and managing strategic Trusts partners.

Write applications and reports

• Update our internal database (Salesforce) with all donor interactions, donations and other details in a timely and efficient manner and with strong attention to detail, and analyse data to give insights' and drive future activity.

Reporting to the CEO, you’ll directly manage four experienced team heads and oversee a high-performing team of 18 who generate bursary, unrestricted, and capital income. About the role

The Data Governance & Operations Manager at Crisis is a pivotal role in our transformation journey. You will lead the development of data governance, architecture, and operational processes that ensure our data is trusted, accessible, and used responsibly to drive our mission to end homelessness.

You will oversee data operations including selections, integrations, and data engineering, ensuring that work is efficient, compliant, and aligned with organisational priorities. Working closely with the Head of Technology, the Infrastructure and Business Systems teams, and the Insight function, you will help establish a modern, unified, and well-governed data environment built on Microsoft Dynamics CRM and Microsoft Fabric.

You will lead and support a skilled team, helping colleagues to develop critical skills to make the most out of our evolving technology stack. You will nurture cross-departmental relationships and play a key role in shaping how Crisis connects and uses data across fundraising, volunteering, client services, and finance. Your work will help ensure that data processes are effective today and ready for the future, making a clear and impactful contribution to Crisis’ mission.

About you

• You have strong experience in data governance and operations, ideally within a Microsoft environment, and can turn frameworks and policies into practical, proportionate processes that people can adopt easily
• You understand how data from systems such as Dynamics CRM, Finance, and others can be structured and integrated within modern data platforms such as Microsoft Fabric
• You are a clear, confident communicator who can bring technical and non-technical colleagues together around shared goals, demonstrating a collaborative and inclusive approach
• You have excellent stakeholder engagement skills and can build credibility across diverse teams including fundraising, volunteering, client services, and policy
• You are committed to data quality, stewardship, and responsible use, and you can help embed these values across the organisation in an equitable and accessible way
• You share Crisis’ commitment to being bold, impactful, collaborative, and equitable in everything we do
