What You’ll Be Doing:

The Community Fundraising Executive works closely with the National Community Fundraising Manager to deliver short and mid-term strategic plans and priorities for the function. The role is responsible for growing community awareness of the charity and driving fundraising activity across the region to meet income targets by proactively seeking out creating new opportunities and relationships. The key areas of activity the role is responsible for include generating and building relationships with community groups, organisations, volunteers and supporters, identifying new opportunities and leads within the region that will generate new income streams for the charity, and presenting to local organisations and groups within the region.

About the role

As Spear expands its reach across the North, our Northern Development Coach will focus on two things: equipping young people facing barriers to employment with the confidence, mindset and skills to move into sustainable work, and developing the coaches around you to do the same.

To do this, you will work across Spear Centres throughout the region - delivering coaching sessions directly with 16–24-year-olds as well as supporting and upskilling Spear Centre teams

Key information:

As our Senior Digital Marketing Officer you will be responsible for boosting our income through online engagement, marketing and stewardship. The role includes responsibility for delivering paid advertising across various platforms (currently META, PPC, Reddit and TikTok) driving income through direct gifts, challenge event participation and other income generation activities.

Harris Hill is urgently seeking an experienced Direct Marketer, to join a medical charity in Cambridgeshire for 3-6 months on a full time basis. 

This role will require you to be in the office 3 days per week, with one from home. On of these days has to be a Wednesday, with office hours being 9-5.

The Executive Officer to CEO (Maternity Cover) leads the effective running of the CEO’s office, providing strategic project management, coordination of leadership priorities, and hands-on delivery across strategy development, planning and governance.

This is a pivotal role within War Child, sitting at the heart of the organisation’s leadership and governance. Working closely with the CEO, Leadership Group, Chair and Board of Trustees, the Executive Officer to CEO plays a key role in enabling effective decision-making, organisational oversight and delivery of War Child’s ambitions for children.

We’re looking for a Direct Marketing Executive to join the Individual Giving team at Prostate Cancer UK. We’re an ambitious charity with a bold mission and a fantastic culture. This role focuses on acquiring new cash and regular givers across a range of channels including digital, telephone and direct mail, helping fund research that will save and improve lives. 

In this role you’ll help drive forward our ambitious five-year fundraising strategy as we continue to grow income year on year to have the biggest impact for men. You will lead on our value exchange programme, working closely with the digital team and our telephone partner to continually optimise results. This is a great opportunity to gain experience across a multi-channel campaign. You will also work on wider telephone conversion campaigns and direct mail as well as other test channels with the aim of recruiting new regular and cash supporters as well as re-engaging those who have lapsed. You’ll also help develop and test welcome journeys to engage supporters with our work and make them feel valued. You’ll look for ways to test and innovate to drive the best results. You’ll collaborate with colleagues from across the organisation to drive the best creative, messaging, targeting and data insights. 

What we want from you 

Experience or knowledge of managing direct marketing campaigns across a range of channels, ideally digital, telephone or direct mail, and preferably gained from a fundraising environment.

You’ll possess first class communication and project management skills; a strong team ethic and you will be at ease working with key internal and external stakeholders at all levels. You’ll be a self-starter, with a curious nature and a keen eye for detail.Knowledge of data protection and sector compliance would also be beneficial.

Workload & Peak Periods

Our challenge calendar has natural peaks, and moderators must be prepared for increased activity during September-November and January-March. These months see higher participant numbers and more concurrent events, meaning more posts, questions and supporter interactions. In addition to these seasonal surges, the first and last day of every month are consistently the busiest, as participants start and complete their challenge.

We maintain a flexible, supportive team culture, and to keep this fairness and flexibility in place, moderators must be willing to work occasional bank holidays and be available on the first or last day of each month, when group activity is at its highest.

The Jack Hazeldine Foundation (JHF) is a small, ambitious youth charity with a big mission: to transform the lives of young people through high‑quality 1:1 mentoring, tutoring and personalised support.

We are now seeking a Head of Operations to play a pivotal role in shaping how our charity runs – strengthening our systems, supporting our people, and ensuring we are sustainable, compliant and impact‑driven as we grow.

This is a genuinely senior role, working closely with the CEO and Trustees, where your judgement will be trusted and your impact will be visible every day.

About the role

As Head of Operations, you will lead JHF’s operational strategy and oversee delivery across operations, finance, people, systems, programmes and compliance.

You will line manage a small, committed team and deputise for the CEO when required.

This is a role for someone who enjoys combining strategic thinking with hands‑on delivery, and who thrives in a small organisation where leadership is visible and change is possible.

We have strong operational foundations in place and have been awarded a CAF Resilience Grant to further strengthen our financial and operational sustainability – a key focus for this role.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and implement JHF’s operational strategy alongside the CEO and Trustees
• Oversee day‑to‑day operations across programmes, finance, HR and administration
• Lead financial planning, budgeting, reporting and controls
• Act as senior lead for governance, risk, GDPR and information security
• Own and develop our bespoke database to improve efficiency, reporting and impact measurement
• Provide high‑quality operational insight and data to inform Board decision‑making
• Support programme delivery to balance impact, quality, compliance and sustainability
• Lead and support staff development, wellbeing and inclusive practice

About you

You will bring:

• Significant experience in a senior operational leadership role, ideally in a charity, youth, education or people‑centred organisation
• Strong financial management experience, including budgeting and reporting
• Experience leading small, multi‑disciplinary teams
• Confidence overseeing service delivery, compliance and risk
• Experience owning or leading organisational systems or digital change
• A values‑driven, collaborative approach and strong commitment to safeguarding young people

About Us

Beginning Again is a Charitable Incorporated Organisation set up to promote the resettlement and rehabilitation of offenders and ex-offenders in order to reduce rates of re-offending and to contribute to the creation of safer communities.

It seeks to achieve its objectives primarily by providing mentoring, advice, and opportunities for gaining work experience in an outdoor setting as part of a team.

Role Purpose

This is a new, permanent role in Cumbria to implement the charity’s rehabilitation and resettlement plans to help reduce re-offending. The work we are undertaking, primarily horticultural, is currently focussed in the North West of the county but we wish to expand to other areas. The post holder will be expected to find new projects, suitable offenders and volunteers and to manage the Operations Officer. Assessing and managing risk is a crucial part of this role. As is collaboration with Probation services and local agencies as well as volunteer organisations.
