We are looking for two individuals to help deliver an impactful GOALS service across London and build effective networks of support for people before, during and after treatment.
A main aspect of the role will be to support and work closely with individuals presenting with lived experience of gambling harm issues and/or people affected by this issue. The GOALS Supporter will understand gambling related harm and dependency issues and be able to ensure safe working environments and take a robust lead on safeguarding and harm minimisation procedures and policy.
The post holder will work with the Director of Support Services and GOALS Coordinator to support the development and maintenance of the systems and structure of the service, ensuring that governance and polices are implemented, safeguarding and safe working practices are systematic and develop a clear understanding of how the service integrates with the national gambling treatment service.
Other support activities will be developed, such as group support and weekly meet ups.
The post holder will develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, deliver presentations and other promotions within community, education and health centres to help grow and develop the service.

These are unique services providing support services to women living independently in the community and those living in accommodation provided by Solace. As such we require a manager who is versatile with a wide range of experience.
This position requires an individual with excellent leadership skills who can manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment. You must be able to meet the targets set by the funders, establish strong partnerships with stakeholders, and ensure that survivors are always the top priority in service delivery.
About the Role
We are seeking a Service Manager to lead our Nest and Pan London Services. As the Manager of this service, your primary responsibility will be to oversee day-to-day operations and to lead a team of specialist Caseworkers. You will be responsible for:
- The day-to-day management of our Nest and Pan London Services
- The development and maintenance of effective relationships with colleagues and a range of stakeholders
- Hold line management responsibility for a specialist team providing holistic support to survivors of domestic abuse.

About the role
We have an exciting opportunity for a SQL Business Intelligence Developer to join our team. This position is based in the Information Management and Technology department and answers to the Business Intelligence Development Manager.
The post holder will take a prominent role in developing a varied suite of Business Intelligence solutions as well as maintaining existing solutions, primarily using Microsoft SQL Server based tools. Work will span the full range of data processes, from system integration to developing and populating data warehouses through to developing user reports. They will work on the technical aspects of system integration and be involved in the development and maintenance of ETL (extract, transform, load) processes across all systems. The post holder will work closely with colleagues across the organisation to gather requirements and ensure data integrity is maintained. About you

About this key role
Our successful candidate will lead by example, be the day-to-day expert within the team and be a positive role model to the team of caseworkers, escalating any concerns to the Team Leader or Service Manager as required. Working as part of a multi-disciplinary team, we will rely on you to provide support, advice and advocacy for young people and their families regarding accommodation, and to produce support and risk management plans based on assessments, while also delivering a holistic support service that will include practical help such as social and housing support, ETE options, benefits work, debt advice, liaising with utilities, appearing in court, and cleaning.

About the role:
One role is based at Kings College Hospital the second role is based at Princess Royal University Hospital. As a Hospital Independent Domestic Violence Advocate you will:
- implement effective ways of working with male victims and those supporting them to increase safety and reduce harm
- provide a high-quality, front-line service to male victims of domestic abuse, delivering a premium service prioritised according to risk, primarily focusing on victim/survivors aged 16+
- initiate, develop, maintain and monitor multi-agency links through procedures and protocols to keep safety central to all services for victims of domestic abuse
- specialise and be leading practitioner for Male victims of domestic abuse; providing advice, guidance and single point of contact for a male victims
You will need:
- Have a knowledge of help-seeking barriers and support needs of victims of domestic abuse (in heterosexual or same-sex relationships).
- Have a good understanding of domestic abuse including the impact of domestic abuse on victims and their children.
- Understand the principles of risk assessment, safety planning and risk management for victims of domestic abuse and their children
- Understand safeguarding issues, and the legal responsibilities surrounding these issues.
- Direct service delivery to victims of domestic abuse or other vulnerable people.

Experience of direct work with young women and girls who have experienced abuse, and of working within safeguarding procedures is essential for this post, as is the need to adopt and promote a strong partnership approach to service provision.

About the Service

The Floating Support Worker (FSW) supports victim/survivors of domestic abuse living in safe accommodation, at any level of risk, on a needs-led basis.
About the Role
As the FSW you will carry out risk and needs assessments, safety planning and support planning with survivors and advocate on their behalf with external agencies. You will provide ongoing casework support, including referrals to specialist advice and practical support, such as legal advice around civil and criminal remedies. You will empower survivors with information on their rights and options, demystifying complex statutory systems and dispelling myths perpetuated by perpetrators and wider society and will provide support to maintain accommodation, or to source permanent accommodation as necessary.
About You
You will have a passion for working with victim/survivors and a thorough understanding of domestic abuse and its impact on women and their children, as well as experience of providing emotional and practical support and strong casework management skills.

As the deputy service manager you will cover vacancies in management or specialist roles, delivering a high quality support service to survivors of domestic and sexual abuse.
As the service manager you will oversee and lead on the following areas of work of which there is more details in the job description.
- Operational Management of the Service
- Lead and develop a staff team of up to 7 members
- Quality assurance, Managing both staff and service performance
- Promote Solace and retain relationships in the borough
- Ensure Financial accountability & compliance

The length of a placement within a service can range from several weeks to a few months. You will receive a local induction to the service at the start of the placement. Placements can be in any of the following services:
Advocacy and Support
Refuge
Children and Young People
Therapeutic
Multiple disadvantages

Ideal candidates will have:
- Sound understanding of practical, emotional, social and economic issues affecting survivors of domestic and sexual abuse.
- In-depth knowledge and confidently advising on a range of options including safe housing, criminal justice, civil remedies and risk management.
- Demonstratable knowledge of adult and children safeguarding
- Experience managing staff
- Experience managing a project
- Have Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Good understanding of Data collection and use of Microsoft packages
- Ability to work well under pressure, prioritising workload and crisis management
- Sensitive and non-judgemental approach when working with vulnerable clients
- Experience in risk assessment, management and safety planning
- CAADA/Safe Lives/Women’s Aid IDVA or DAPA qualified (Desirable)
